Online stated there would be a charge for any damages however when we got there the price was increased. There was no-one on reception when we arrived to assist us. The rooms were clean however damp in the bathrooms due to no windows or vents, every room the blinds were broken letting in light through the night. Pull out bed provided but no spare blanket or pillows for this, the apartment was for 4 people but sofa only fitted 2.

The apartment space was nice. It overlooked the water. The sofa bed was broken and we did not have enough spots for the three of us, my child slept on the loveseat. We booked for three people on the website and then the hotel told us that they only accommodated two people and so technically we didn't get a working couch. Anyway, we made it work. Otherwise, the apartment was fine.

Great location. Spacious rooms. I would not recommend though based on the visible dust and dirt around the apartment. You could see dust on almost every surface and our feet were all black from walking on the floors the first night. By no means “luxury.”

This was the grossest hotel I've ever stayed in. There was visible mold on the baseboards and in the showers. ( see picture) the shower was broken, huge peeling paint bubbles, dust caked on the headboards and all surfaces. There was crumbs of food in the cabinets and food and trash left dripping in the freezer. The bathroom had hair and grit in all over. We checked in around 6 pm and by8 pm I had confirmed that we were going to be checking out of the two night stay early. Andrew the manager was very nice and did refund my one night and one night of additional parking no questions asked. Speaking of parking, it is in the most unsafe parking garage ever. You need to go to -2 to get to the dream apartment spaces but it's very hard to find -2. It's pitch black and the sensor lights take a few seconds to come on. If I was not with my husband I would have been terrified. Tons of spaces for some one to hide and it's completely dark. Andrew asked for pictures of the hotel room and I did send them but he did not respond.

Apartment is very basic. Not even any pictures on the wall. A different company had taken over since we booked it, they required the deposit to be paid by bank transfer, which did concern us as there was no proof that this was a refundable deposit. Luckily this was returned to us within 48 hours of departure.
Location is brilliant. So if you don't mind very basic and are using this place to sleep and then be out for the majority of the time then it is fine.

Unfortunately The Dream apartment fell well short of our expectations. You could only gain access to the secured car park with a FOB which the Concierge keeps. This limits your entry and exit times. The apartment itself on arrival appeats to be nice. However, the furnishings are of poor quality, there was minimal cutlery and crockery. Throughout the apartment there was only the most basic items, but would have thought soap in the bathroom dispenser, tea towel for washing up etc would be essential. The door hinges on the fridge requires replacement.

When on arrival was asked for id which i wasnt informed about in the emails, the apartment would need a face lift blinds, window hands and light switches broken the bed was very uncomfortable and only one very flat pillow per person. Could hear the apartment next door. The items in the cupboards were dirty. No hot water had to wait half an hour for the water to heat up. When leaving there was no staff at the desk so had to wait almost half an hour

There were problems checking in and we were asked to return later when the problem had been resolved. A problem with the Expedia booking system apparently. The apartment was spartan. Broken shower and bin in the bathroom. Lamps with no bulbs in the lounge. Kitchen bin not been emptied. Hot water was accessible through pressing a Boost button in a cupboard. We had not been told about this so thought there was no hot water. Later that evening I cut my foot on small shards of white plastic on the bedroom floor. Poor cleaning. In the morning, when a receptionist was available at 10am I complained and asked to be moved to an alternative apartment. There was no apology for the issues at all. I was initially told by the receptionist that she was unable to help without a manager's supervision. I asked her to contact her manager, and then she did agree to move us to another apartment. The second apartment was cleaner, but again poorly equipped for a self-catering apartment.
I tried to ring Expedia customer support but getting through to a human being was very difficult and after several minutes typing in various required information, I got cut off.
On trying to leave the building one morning, the external doors had locked and it was not possible to exit through the main door. The receptionist could not open the fire door either until my partner assisted.

Great location right by the quay which is a 10/15 min walk to the titanic museum and a 5 min walk away from the cathedral quarter. Room it self was quite bare and had a few marks on the wall in the living room area. Missing the odd light bulb here and there in spot lights and lamps etc.

On arrival we were told with no way of an apology or forewarning that they were putting us in another apartment building which was a fifteen minute walk away. Normally wouldn’t have been a big deal if they had just told us in advance, but it meant that we missed dinner reservation.
Apartment had no soap, shower gel, or any other amenities for a short stay.
What made it even better is they expect you to walk back in the morning to check-out. My advice is avoid this place and book in a proper hotel.

The apartment serves a purpose for a city break. Definitely not a luxury apartment! Could do with some TLC. Some electrical heaters were broken. Large enough kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. Quite noisy as by a main road into Belfast!

We had dirty water splash at the walls in the bathroom, dust in layers in every corner, along the walls and on radiators. The stow had still dried food from previous guests cooking and the plats had only been splashed so fat and food rest on them and several of the glasses too.
Turned out that we handed been given the information leaflet. So we went to ask about wi-fi. Had to ask for additional toilet roles as it was only one with only 1/4 left in the apartment.
We complained at several times about the situation and at check out the lady told us that if we had notified them we would have been moved to another apartment. Obviously no commutation between the staff at reception or notes made to sort the problems.

Excellent location, good price, and spacious --- but very very dirty. The cutlery and dishes in the kitchen were dirty with caked on food. The floor was so disgusting that we had to leave our shoes on. We asked them to clean the floors. They said they would. They did not.

Felt like a bait and switch from the pictures. This property is not the shiny high rise, but rather the squat brown building beside it. The floors felt dirty and turned our socks dark. The showers had no hot water unless you turned on the boiler 45-60 minutes beforehand which was extremely inconvenient. The kitchen had limited utensils and no dish towels. Check out could be extended but only for an hour at an exorbitant price.

Apartment’s are clean, well equipped and spacious. The reception staff were so helpful and pleasant, nothing was a bother to them.
The apartments are so convenient to the town centre, even the titanic experience and the ferry were within walking distance, although an Uber was less than £10 if you don’t fancy the walk.

Check in can only be described as chaotic. It took 45 minutes for us to get checked in and eventually get our car parked in the secure parking. No fobs available for the car park entry. Apartment very basic certainly not a \"Dream Apartment\". Road noise constant with no curtains to block sound or light. No rugs to dampen room echo. Was akin to a basic student apartment. Area around car park internal lift very dirty with rubbish. Bed was comfortable shower excellent but bathroom light over basin out and extractor fan not working. We will not be back.

Dream apartments blew our expectations out of the water. It was extremely clean and spacious, and felt like home. We wish we could have booked our stay for more than one night, but it was full once we decided we wanted to change our plans.

Nice apartment, but needed cleaning.
Unfortunately, when we arrived we had to spend time cleaning. The fridge needed cleaning as did the cups and frying pan in the kitchen, the mug in the bathroom had all dried toothpaste in it, which I also had to clean. There was also sticky residue on the surface in the bathroom, which we cleaned. The washing machine also had a sticky residue on top of it and there was also stains running down the front of the machine. When I tried using the ironing board, the cover did not fit, as it was far too narrow. We also found a used scourer in the kitchen cupboard. It would have been better to either throw it away or replace it with a new one. We were pleased that there were towels in the bathroom, but not in the kitchen. Also, on the website it said toiletries were provided, which only consisted of handwash, so there was nothing to use in the bath/shower. The outside of the bin in the bathroon also needed cleaning. We had to go to the shop to purchase shower gel, scourers, dish cloth and tea towel as these were not provided. We also discovered that the TV only had 7 channels, none of which were worth watching. In all fairness once we complained about this someone was sent with a new cord and set up the TV so that we had all the usual Freeview channels. Once we settled in and everything was cleaned we found the apartment to be very comfortable with the rooms suitable for our stay. The location was very convenient for where we wanted to go.

From start to finish it was terrible, couldnt get checked in until after 5, 3 adults booked and they gave us a pull out bed that a child could not have slept in, no tv and when the finally brought it it didnt work, no toilet roll and the pillows were actually slim cushions, it was brutal

room look on the appearance to be clean , that said it had a strange fusty smell , the lifts to the room also had a smell like they had been cleaned with a old mop and dirty water. felt the need to buy air freshener and bleach for the sinks and toilet in the room , could not leave the windows open due to noise from the main road. strange that you have to leave a deposit given the student halls smell throughout the building..

The location and value for money is what makes these apartments so appealing. You can tell they are well used and some of the apartments need minor fixes however the beds were comfortable and the rooms pretty clean that was the most important thing. I booked 3 rooms and asked for one of them to have twin beds.....this didnt happen. I also got a notice of cancellation they day before I was due to arrive which resulted in unnecessary stress however the staff were able to correct whatever error had been made on their end

Place was really nice, only fault would be when asking for extra toilet roll & to swap our towels we would have had to spend £25 and get our whole room reserviced which isn’t cheap or convenient. Apart from this, had a nice stay.

A nice apartment very close to the centre of Belfast. Within walking distance to lots of things. Tony on the front desk was very helpful and always seemed to be working! Apartment was clean, cosy and warm.
A few negatives: The way they portray the building isn’t exactly correct. If you look at the photo of the ‘Obel Building’ you would expect to be staying in the main tower block...wrong. It may say Dream Apartments Obel Building, but in fact, you’re not in the tallest building (with amazing views etc)..their apartment block is a 7 storey building right beside it. So if you’re disappointed..that will be why. Was expecting nice views, but the building only goes up 7 storeys and you can’t see much. Don’t know how they get away with that as it’s false advertising.
Also, car parking is now up to £12 per day and deposit is £250 (not £10 and £200 as advertised). Don’t be expecting to get a fob for the car park to gain entrance and exit...so much hassle having to get out of your car at the barrier, run into reception (hoping someone is there) to get someone to let you out. I had to do this quite a lot and residents from the main Obel Tower were forming a queue of cars behind me..very embarrassing. If customers are paying £12 a day for parking in their car park, it makes more sense to give them a fob so they can get in and out!!

This was a last minute booking & unfortunately quite difficult to find when coming from the south. Not only because of the one way streets, but also because the street number is misleading. Reception were very helpful, but access & exit from the car park did require them to swipe in & out at the boom gate. Parking was available in marked spaces, but the spaces weren't easy to find.
We had a 1 bedroom apartment, full kitchen, washing machine, good size bathroom, but the bed was only a double & a bit short for me (194cm).
The location, although initially difficult to find, was very central & within easy walking distance of Belfast & the Titanic Exhibition.
You need to be self sufficient unless you want to walk to restaurants &/or hotels.

Disappointing stay!
Stayed at the Dream Apts after reading the good reviews. However, I wasn't impressed with my 2 night stay. The apt wasn't in the best of condition. The carpet was stained in the living room. Bedroom lights were blown out, living room one bulb also blown, Shower screen door leaked and flooded bathroom, reported the next morning to the front desk and asked for fresh towels as I had used my used towels to clean up the bathroom after it flooded. Came back in the evening, nothing was done! Bathroom remained a mess, bulbs not changed out, NO Towels! I had to do laundry to clean my soiled towels. So much for attention to detail and service! The only good experience was Jamie at Check in. he was very attentive and gave us a warm welcome. The next evening, he brought us fresh towels after I Had complained about how inattentive the morning staff at the front desk was. Seemed like Jamie is the only one who goes out of his way to ensure guests have what they need! Overall, I wasn't too impressed with my stay.

After waiting 6 hours due to flying times we were then told we weren't actually staying at the dream apartment my email confirmation gave me,we were infact staying a 10 minute taxi ride away. This was an inconvenience 1 due to the fact I booked this apartment as it was right next to a venue of a gig we were going to. 2 I am expecting and given the fact I could of just walked round the corner and rested of I felt tired if I felt the need to....this wasn't as easy due to the fact I would of had to get a taxi!!! I won't be rushing back in a hurry. The receptionist has said expedia make these mistakes all the time....this is simply not acceptable.

Poor business ethics
This is the worst booking experience I have ever had. When we checked in at The Obel Building, the receptionist told us that The Obel Building had no place for us, and system had booked us into St Thomas Street on Lisburn Road, which is also under Dream Apartments. It is totally unacceptable, as it is an entirely different locality and we wouldn't have had picked this location in the first place. We are very disappointed with the business ethics here.
