The hotel itself was as expected. Clean and spacious room. Parking was a block over and a slight challenge to navigate. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Good location. However, the hotel was dirty. The bathroom in our room had mold. The phone didn’t work and when we asked reception about it, the guy said that they were turned off during Covid. It’s now 2026, why haven’t they turned them back on. During check in, I asked the front desk lady about parking. She was unsure and said there is one by the Jazz restaurant. When I asked about the price, she said it was 6 Euros. That was completely wrong even after getting the ticket validated. There is one tiny elevator for the whole hotel so it took a long time for the elevator to reach your floor. I would not recommend this hotel.

The rooms were small but worked for what we needed. We had to park two streets over, but it wasn’t a big deal. The only disappointment was a server in the restaurant for the breakfast buffet, he was a little grumpy and a little aggressive. The rest of the staff in the hotel were very friendly and professional.

The location cannot be beat, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The building is partly under construction, making it noisy during the daytime, but nights were quiet. I would stay here again.

Thoroughly mediocre, at best. Obnoxious check-in kiosk which doesn’t work with Expedia reservation and nearby staff sitting idly by, who seemed put out when assistance was ultimately requested. The facility is quite worn with little apparent maintenance/upkeep performed.

Pros - close to many sights, restaurants, and things to do in Belfast. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Cons - Waring St is extremely noisy. I stayed at this hotel Thursday to Monday, and each night, including Sunday night, I had to wear my noise-canceling AirPods to bed in order to sleep. You will hear yelling, carrying on, and also music if your room faces Waring Street (main entrance to hotel) like my room did. The interior of the hotel is quiet enough but the street noise was intolerable. Unfortunately, every night my sleep was interrupted and this put a damper on my overall stay in Belfast. Only other con I would add is the heater would shut off completely overnight. I'd wake up cold and have to turn it back on; this would happen while setting the thermostat to a specific temperature, too. Not sure why it just turns off completely like that. While the hotel was decent enough, especially for the per night cost, I probably wouldn't stay here again unless the rooms are redone to be soundproofed from the very loud street noise.

I understand if a hotel cant accomodate early check in. But surely there must be a better system. Staff claimed rooms werent ready until 3. Sat aroj s gossiping and charting with colleagues doing nothing. They opened up checking in right at 2pm sharp leaving a huge line up, the staff suddenly became frazzled and overwhelmed. We waited 20 min in line and didnt get our room until closer to 3:30. To me this doesnt seem efficient or hospitable.

Very grateful to the Early Morning crew on checkout for escorting me to parking garage as they hadn't been made aware that the garage was staffed 24 hours for the month of December. Mini-panic averted thinking I wouldn't be able to get out for an early drive back to Dublin for flight back to US

Staff aren’t the most helpful or friendly.
The onsite parking is a block away in a public car park, not onsite as described. It wasn’t very convenient when travelling with lots of luggage and a baby. There is also no loading zone to unload your luggage.
We booked and stated it was for a family and this was confirmed on check in. Not sure if that’s why they placed us in a room furthest from the elevator so that we would be less disruptive to others, but it involved going up steps. Minor inconveniences when trying to drag 4 suitcases and a stroller.
The hotel is located on a busier street that has more traffic and street lamps that shine into your room. The blackout curtains cover up most, but the light still creeps through the bottom and sides.
Room was overall clean.

Personalet i receptionen meget serviceminded.
Parkeringsmulighed (parkeringshus £12/døgn) ligger ca. 200 m fra hotellet.

+ Väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Relativt stort rum med ett fräscht badrum. Oslagbart läge i absolut centralaste Belfast.

- Dåligt tryck i duschen.

Room double charge mess-up

We have previously had pretty good experiences with Premier Inn, but this time it was rather poor.

When arriving we were requested to pay for the room. This surprised us a bit since we were under the impression that we already paid for it when making the reservation. We figured that the staff knew what they were talking about and hence we paid.

When later checking the bank statement, I noticed that we had now indeed paid for the room twice. I went back to the reception but was informed that only the manager could sort it out and we were told to return the next morning, which we did and got it sorted out in the end.

This was a really lousy start to our stay in Belfast and the first evening was really stressful when we were double charged and not knowing how easy it would be to get it sorted out. We feared being trapped in a blame game between hotels.com and Premier Inn. Since a credit card refund always takes a few days, this also led us to being somewhat strapped for funds for a few days until it cleared.

I quite frankly expect the hotel to be able to keep track of if a booking is already paid or not. That should not be my responsibility as a guest. It would also have been so much better if the confirmation e-mail from hotels.com had clearly stated if additional payments upon arrival is needed or not.

Also:
1. the free Wi-Fi was rather poor.
2. It would have been great to have had prices in the menu for the draught beers which were for mysterious resons missing.
