Staff was helpful. However, I received an email for pre-check in, so I provided all my information and was requested the exact same information upon arrival. Unsure what the purpose of pre-check in is. The room was clean, however there was no shampoo in the shower compartment, only conditioner and shower gel. One of the lamps with extra outlets and USB slots did not work.

Acceptable accommodation but not great. It’s a long circuitous walk to the rooms from the lobby which includes going outdoors. The door to my room didn’t fit well and involved some effort to open and close. The HVAC unit did not appear to be working. The airport shuttle was late both times I used it, despite the front desk telling me that I needed to be 5 minutes early as it left promptly on time.
The room was clean and the staff pleasant, on the high side.

The room could have been cleaner. It looked clean but if you look closely it wasn’t. Dirty walls etc. The staff was not knowledgeable about what their system was doing. They overcharged my credit card and it took days for it to be charged back. The restaurant food was the worst I’ve had in quite awhile.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff, convenient to all the things I needed before a flight (restaurants, shopping), plus a free airport shuttle and the delicious hot breakfast was better than I expected. This was a good find!

I booked two rooms they were ridiculously distanced from each other. I tried to get information on the rooms before arriving and no one seemed to have any answers, i would have changed rooms had i known. Check in took a very long time despite doing the online check in and again there was little property knowledge to answer questions. It was frustrating and lowered our experience. There were three people checking people in at the front desk, all three seemed to be in training because only one person was overseeing the checkins and therefore spread very thinly because all staff greatly depended on her assistance. The online pictures of the 2 bedroom hotel room was very different than the real version. The food in the restaurant was average. The restaurant servers were good. I don’t know if this was normal for this hotel or just a training period for staff. The hotel is very broken up in different sections with long corridors. There needs to be a clearer floor plan with distict names for each section showing the proximity to amenities. I wouldn't book again unless i was attending an event that took place in the hotel again. On arrival the staff had no knowledge of where the event was to be held and said i would need to ask the morning of the event. For people with limited mobility it made the entire 3 days very challenging. Both toilets in the 2 bedroom suite could barely flush. After hearing an abundance of sirens we realized this hotel is right by the hospital. Great view.

It seemed evident that this room was previously a condo, which is fine. What was a bedroom with a twin bed, which is also fine, was likely considered a den with barely any space to even just step around the bed-just an observation. While it was clean and well laid out, the flooring throughout was the concern. It was in great condition, but the quality of the workmanship that installed the flooring was deplorable-there were up to 1 inch gaps between some of the flooring pieces!! Whoever was contracted to install that flooring did not do things properly. This hotel also doesn't seem to offer 24hr shuttle service so ensure you plan accordingly and if you have a super early departure, this would not be a good hotel to book as the earliest departure is 6am. On expedia.ca this hotel offers breakfast included, but when I inquired so as to determine if we would have enough time to grab breakfast, I was told breakfast wasn't included in the \"option\" I'd chosen.....um what? We were certain we would not get breakfast because it would not be offered early enough, but.......what? I didn't argue cause it wasn't worth asking the timings at that point. Overall, cleanliness and layout of the room was excellent, but otherwise our stay was just \"meh\".

Airport shuttle easy to find however the company sent a shuttle to pick up a airline crew but did not send a shuttle for anyone else, therefore, we waited for over an hour for a shuttle, your policy is every 15th & 45th minutes that was not the case!!!

The pool is an enjoyable place. However, there weren't enough towels stocked for after pool use. The hottub was located in a completely separate part of the hotel which made it very difficult to find. Signage wasn't clear on how to get to the hottub so it took a while to find. Room did not have enough towels stocked for the amount of people that room was booked for. Sofa bed was full of hair and remenants of crumbs and food wrappers. Attention to this area was highly needed. Temperature controls worked, but the heating unit cover wasn't able to stay attached. Walls and ceiling corners had evidence of spiderwebs and dust.

The service was great and the gym was also quite good. Equipment was good and well maintained. The only issue is the room I had was on the main level and the extra security latch was broke off and there is an exit door that isn’t alarmed so I would not feel safe leaving family members alone in that room. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There is also a good restaurant attached and the food was very good - the dirty fries on the menu were excellent

This hotel was better than some of the negative reviews claim. The staff were so nice, upgraded our room and were happy to give us a late check out as we had a later flight. We had a little issue contacting housekeeping to get a clean sheet when we had a spill (we didn’t know they were done for the day) but then the front desk went over and above to help us out. Would totally stay again.

Very convenient location. Friendly front desk. They gave me a big room with a sitting area and kitchenette, functional microwave and keurig machine. No filtered water or bottled water. I did not try the Free Bird restaurant but the menu looks good and prices reasonable. shower head delivers water in a ring thus more difficult to get clean.

The bed was clean, but the bathroom REAKED of cigarette smoke. I could barely take a shower or be in there at all without getting a headache from the smell.

The front desk didn’t really offer anything or try to use it as an opportunity to do better or improve my experience which was odd for a hotel.

The room was so far away from the front desk, I checked in really late and wanted water, the guy at the front desk said “there’s two bottles in your room” to which, when I arrived in my room, there was no water, and when I called he said “could you please walk to the lobby and pick it up?” It was 1am, I just flew for 7 hours and was exhausted.

The rooms floors were had holes and tears in them as well. I was excited to get out of there.

The airport shuttle ends at 10:45pm, but this is not clarified to guests. We called at 10:53 for a shuttle and were told to take a taxi, while having a shuttle from the airport was the primary reason for choosing this hotel. Very disappointing. The rooms in the older area are large and outdated, and ours smelled of smoke and the phone did not work. Luckily, the front desk person was gracious enough to move us to the newer tower.

ETA YCR airport late evening 1930 hrs. Went outside 1945 for executive hotel shuttle. Walked up to their named hotel shuttle to board. Was told that this shuttle was for crew and another shuttle would arrive shortly. At 2030 called hotel to find out shuttles stop at 8pm. And hotel would pay fare to hotel with a defined cab company. Long international flight day- and hotel makes me wait longer, for a shuttle that wasnt coming. Crew shuttle Driver had to have known he was the only one on duty and was headed home after crew shuttle. Shuttles were locked and parked when cab dropped us at AIRPORT EXECUTIVE hotel-ETA 2110 hrs. AS ADVERTISED we had Booked a room patio side. Was PROVIDED ground floor ROOM next to the parking lot. Noisy early morning BTW- room was the Longest distance to farthest wing of hotel. in morning on checkout- complained of these issues. Was told i could have got a complimentary breakfast that was now ended. FYI. site booking advertised breakfast included- however on more.disciplined review of booking page near the bottom, breaksfast is an a la carte add on to 13$/ guest. Marketing suggest this is a SHARP business practice. Ive waited 3 weeks for email room billing with an explanation for my complaint recovery from the front desk clerk. No response to date. Im obligated to enter my 1st dismissive on hotels after 5 weeks of various hotels in Asia. My country CANADA failed in a few aspects of services.

The shuttle bus driver. They’re both nice able to help us with our heavy luggages. Facility was good. Except for narrow hallway. Hard to maneuver the cart for luggages and the cart itself is not functioning well. I thought it was free breakfast when I booked then I asked the front desk for meal stub he said it’s not included. Room is nice and clean. Customer service is not too bad. Just the narrow hallway.

The front desk was understaffed, so when I arrived in the evening there was only one person handling check-ins. A lot of people got pretty impatient waiting. You could tell the front desk lady was under a ton of pressure, she kept apologizing to everyone.

Other than that, the room was clean, they offer airport pickup, and the driver was really friendly. I’d consider staying here again next time.

On my second night at this hotel, the smoke alarm went off during the middle of the night. It must have been 1:30 am. Panicking, I woke up my 10 year old and we immediately left the property. We drove around the block for what felt like forever but the fire trucks were not leaving or the people outside were not going back in. I gave in and had to pull over to sleep in my Jeep with my 10 year old. Super uncomfortable. At checkout, no offer for a partial refund was provided. Just a quick \"we're sorry\" about that. Not impressed at all. Note, that there is also no microwave in these rooms, at least, not in the room we were given.

Yes there were things where you can tell is old and aged but overall I’m giving the cleanliness and important things the high rating. It’s not Fairmont but it’s pretty good. Also close to a lot of late night restaurants, walkable so that makes it easy too

It was a last-minute, one night stay due to a flight cancellation. Everything was smooth, from the check in the night before, the stay itself, the checkout, and the airport transfer. The room was nice, quiet, and clean, view of the city (street) was okay, TV was large and new BUT it didn't seem like a smart TV as I couldn't access Netflix or Youtube but it offered casting using your phone which I didn't want to do. The amenities were nice and available. A restaurant downstairs, pool on site. Overall, quite happy and will be back.

First of all, I noticed upon arrival that the front staff ladies tend to chat amongst each other while ignoring guest attempting to check in I was given a room that has extremely noisy, neighbors, screaming children. I went down to the front desk to ask to be moved to a quiet room. I was moved to the second floor of the tower facing the busy street when I asked again to be moved they said they were sold out.! One of the times waiting in line to talk to the front desk. I noticed another customer waiting and waiting waiting to check in while the staff were just chatting around not paying attention to customers coming in and at one point I asked the girl at the desk if there were other staff available to help out because there was a lineup she said no I went to the washroom and came back and all of a sudden there were two other staff out helping

The pool is in building with rooms but if your in the high rise you have to outside to go or the pool. Not convent with children at all.

The hotel has seen better days. The carpet is old and you can see the wear on the inside of the building. There are no entertainment options available. If it wasn’t for the over priced restaurant there wouldn’t be much to do. Luckily there was a liquor store next door.

While it was nice that we were upgraded to a penthouse suite, the condition of the room was poor, and in need of multiple repairs.
