I will avoid this place like the plague until the day I die. This was BY FAR the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The staff were rude and just all around an angry bunch of people, the shuttle driver hates everything, and be careful as weird charges got added on after. I hope every one of those people finds some form of joy because they're the worst people to even be in the vicinity of.

A perfectly comfortable hotel for travelers. Clean room, comfortable beds. The neighborhood is kind of industrial but there is a good coffee shop and a couple of small restaurants within walking distance. And of course the White Spot with friendly servers.

Hallways and elevator were filthy. The staff were near ornery when I checked in, though when I checked out the following day front desk was considerably better.

If you’re going to have breakfast at the White Spot attached to the hotel beware of the price! Very expensive breakfast but good service.

Overall, I do not believe this property meets anywhere near the standard of Best Western Plus. It’s filthy inside and out. Even the shower in my room had debris of some sort that I had to clear away. It should go to brand review and be forced to spend some time and money bringing the property up to standard.

We didn't use the White spot at the hotel because we prefer a lighter breakfast. We walked a block to find Wick Cafe which had pasteries and coffee.

Very disappointed. It is an older property which we were ok with but the room was dirty. Went to get the airport shuttle the next day and was told we would have to wait an hour and a half cuz it wasn’t going to run during that time. We were looking for a shuttle at 11am. Don’t say you have a shuttle on the half hour if it runs hit and miss. Will not stay here again

This hotel is very convenient to the airport for travel. Our shuttle picked us up quickly to get us to the hotel and the driver was a very congenial young fellow who enjoyed people and his job.
The front desk staff were friendly and efficient as were the servers in the restaurant adjacent to the hotel. Our only concern came when we went to book our shuttle back to the airport. The man behind the desk reprimanded us for not having booked the shuttle 24 hours in advance and admonished about coming to the desk early and so on. He was ridiculously demanding and rude to us, tired passengers, who didn’t quite follow his rules. We realized later that this man was actually the shuttle driver who had only one passenger booked for the time we requested. Come on, keep him out of the desk area and let the professionals do their job. He left a sour taste in our mouth.

Waited over a half hour for the airport shuttle while trying to call to find out an ETA. Clean, modern and affordable. Comfy bed. Very small room which isn’t a big problem unless you’re travelling with large suitcases. Arrived late evening so the restaurant was closed and there is literally nowhere nearby to grab a snack or drinks.

Great hotel for an overnight stay. It’s is located on a major street with a lot of traffic all night long. If you are a light sleeper I will suggest booking elsewhere.

The room was clean. The staff were friendly. I didn't try the breakfast. We had to leave very early. To catch a flight, there were some issues with the shuttle. I don't know if it's normal but most likely vehicle problems. I was also outside of the normal hours. For leaving. Other than that the staff were great. Room was clean and it is cheap for being so close to the airport.

When signing in was informed of a huge damage deposit .This set off my spider sence and checked the room out both shears torn a silver dollar size burn in a curtain and a guarter size gauge in wall called desk to inform them and took pictures,took the pics down to show them desk seemed unaware ,showed pics then went to supper where the steak was tough paid with a american 100 dollar bill and given par to a canadian dollar 45 dollars in exchange .My mother taught us if you have nothing good to say ,say nothing just don't make the same mistake twice !

My bed appeared to be already slept in. Full of mystery orange stains with crust on top and hair everywhere. Was no house keeping so I had to get sheets and remake my bed myself. Not worth $200 a night

Very hard to locate off busy highway. No where to park at entrance when you find it! Then waited 10 mins for receptionist to finish phone call. Worst charged extra $50 for nothing over cost so am disputing it. And you have to carry cases up steps to get out back to car park! Also not close to airport. Worst decision I made

There wasnt anytbing wrong with the property, I've stayed here before and it was fine then as well. The only thing I didnt like this time was that the concierge said my room number out loud in the middle of a busy lobby. As a single woman traveling alone i found that to be super problematic, unprofessional, & potentially dangerous had the wrong person overheard.

You get what you pay for while the walls are a bit thin and rooms a bit worn, the staff were excellent, the rooms and building quiet and safe and the airport shuttle reliable. Just perfect for an airport layover. I will be staying here again!

Was sent instructions to contact the courtesy shuttle when we arrived at YVR. Was on hold 10 minutes. Called an alternative number, was hung up on 6 times. Ended up having to take a cab to the hotel which cost $30. Desk staff were rude and manager refused to do anything. He said they were busy but it was clear the hotel was understaffed. Called front desk the next morning to arrange shuttle. There was no answer, had to go down to front desk to make the arrangements. Once these folks have your money they could care less about your experience. I will never stay at a Best Western ever again. I would encourage you to choose different accommodations.

It’s not a great location sound wise and you need sat nav to find the parking entrance as it’s basically by a major interchange.
However getting out and onto the airport road was very easy.
The rooms could do with better lighting in the rooms

It had a sub-par White Spot with unfriendly and slow staff where I was able to get breakfast which was the highlight of the stay. The property smelled, was not clean, staff were unfriendly, the parking was unusually small, and there is little to nothing for entertainment nearby. It may be the worst hotel I've stayed in quite some time. Not recommended, especially with the other excellent hotels in the area.

We had to uber to the airport as all the shuttles were prebooked before we even checked in. Seems they need a second shuttle!! The uber was less than 15 so, not bad.

Nothing near by other than the airport, would not allow ski bags in the airport shuttle, when travelling to BC to ski destinations, the main hub is Vancouver, and this is not a good policy. The rooms smelled. I would never stay here again. The gym was mediocre.

For an executive king bed room there was only one armchair which was uncomfortable. The bedside plugs on on one side did not work….multiple visits from housekeeping before a big enough extension cord was found. There were no glass - only plastic cups. Wasn’t happy

The shuttle to the airport won’t allow ski bags, bike bags, or anything over sized. It was a hassle and not worth staying here. Especially for $230 for a basic room. There was a ton of room in the shuttle and I don’t understand why they acted this way.
