We came in for the FIFA World Cup and the hotel was within walking distance to everywhere we needed to go. We took public transit from the airport and it was easy to navigate. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly, room was great and had all the amenities needed. Water was extra hot which was really nice after a long flight.

Great location close to walk along the sea wall, get a transit boat over to Granville Island.

It was in a bit of a party area but room was soundproof/ we did not hear it.

Is an older hotel so a little run down looking.
But rooms were spacious and has washing facilities upstairs.

The 1 queen suite was decently sized included a small kitchenette, coffee maker and hot water heater. The rooftop patio was a nice touch to the amenities included in most hotels. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was kind of old, especially the bathroom. The bathroom was kept at an okay cleanliness level. A/C was kind of noisy when turned on, it was difficult for me to sleep while it was on. Overall, pretty good would recommend if the price was lower.

Honestly, not the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in amazing staff very helpful, but I gotta be honest not in a great area. We put one of our employees in here and ended up moving them and ending their trip early just because they didn’t feel safe in the evening, a lot of homeless people around the property.

The floor was dirty, my socks & slippers were filthy after walking on the floor. There was a bug crawling from the bathtub. I had to keep calling reception to have the lotion, body wash & hand soap dispensers refilled.
We left two phone chargers in the room, when we called back, they claimed they only found one, both were left there & if one was found then the other must have been found as well.

This is a nice property in a very convenient location, close to False Creek and the Aquabus. It’s also a short walk to English Bay and the Vancouver beaches. The staff were very courteous and efficient. The rooftop common kitchen is a nice touch, though I did not have time to use it. The rooms have a bit of wear and tear but are comfortable and mostly up-to-date. Granville Street to the north can be a little sketchy but it’s still a safe neighbourhood in a very safe city. I would certainly stay at the Grand Park again.

My husband and I visited Vancouver at the beginning of June and booked a four-night stay.

The first two days were uneventful. However, on our third night, around midnight, a man unexpectedly unlocked and began opening our hotel room door. Fortunately, I was still awake and immediately engaged the secondary security latch.

I asked who he was and what he wanted. He identified himself as a staff member who needed to check something in the room and then asked for my name and booking number. When I questioned whether he had the wrong room, he insisted he did not. Feeling uncomfortable, I refused to provide any information and called the front desk.

After explaining the situation, I was placed on hold. Moments later, the same individual came on the line, identified himself as the manager, and stated there had been a mix-up.

Despite the explanation, the incident left me deeply unsettled and unable to sleep for the rest of the night. In all my years of travel, I have never experienced someone unlocking and attempting to enter my hotel room in the middle of the night.

The next morning, another manager apologized and explained that the evening manager had misread a room number and mistakenly believed our occupied room was vacant. Although they offered compensation, the incident had significantly impacted my sense of security. As a result, I cancelled my final night and stayed elsewhere.

Took $100 deposit for items stolen from room. Room had 1 hanger - no others we available. Lots of maintenance issues. Staff was okay but not great. Asked that broken towel bar to be fixed & door lock - not done while we were there.
Very dated rooms and building.

I recently stayed at the Grand Park Hotel for 2 nights with my partner . Rooms was very clean great location close to coffee shops and shopping . Staff also super friendly . Good size fridge in the room to place drinks . Microwave to heat leftovers and coffee machine Kerig . No cream though . There is 7-11 right across the street . Also the restaurant inside the hotel has good food open late for night time happy hour . All and all reasonably priced hotel for location downtown Vancouver BC

I stayed on the top floor, which came with a personal balcony. However, the roof is also accessible to all guests, who could easily climb over the guardrail and into my balcony, then enter my room because the sliding door of the balcony could not be locked.

Fortunately the safe is large and easy to use! I also made good use of the ironing board and desk.

Overall this room felt a bit underwhelming for the high price, but it was a good stay. To make it a little bit more worth, a small complimentary coupon for the White Spot under the hotel was also given at check-in.

We had a well priced room. Efficiency suite. There’s some maintenance issues, chips in the tub chips in the tile, but it was very clean and neat.
View was not great. Looked right into a building across from us.
Parking was an additional $46 including tax and parking tax? So calculate that into the price of your room.
There is not a good place to wait outside while you check in so that’s a little confusing.
Staff were pleasant and helpful.
Pretty much the experience was what we expected.

We stayed in Rm 805. The room was a good size, with a nice layout and space. The windows were soundproof which was great to keep the noise out. The kitchenette was very useful but the mattresses were very soft/old and the room just needed a facelift. The tub had old stains, the wall papers were coming off and the bathroom smelled of mold!

The hotel's location had plenty of options for restaurants around. The room was clean and basic. The only frustration was having to have a key to park the car and then needing a key to get in from the garage. It was only frustrating during check-in, otherwise we had no issues.

Also the shuttle bus only takes you to the airport location -not the downtown location that we stayed at.

This hotel is in a central location in Yaletown, within walking distance to David Lam park and the waterfront. The hotel is a bit dated and worn and the room showed some wear. But the staff were very helpful and accommodating.

At first glance, this facility appears a bit old and run down. On the other hand, the rooms were clean and comfortable and appointed with the things that you need when travelling. It was a good place to spend a few nights if you are not overly picky or want high level \"ambiance\".

The staff, however, was superb. They were very responsive and helpful about where you might want to eat nearby, how to get around, and recommendations on all things Vancouver. As such, we had a great dinner at a local Asian restaurant that was just awesome and had brunch the next day at another local haunt. There was a line of people waiting outside to get in....which was a great indicator of how popular this place was in this community.

Overall, this place met our needs and we enjoyed our stay, which is what really counts.

Very disappointed with our stay. The elevators were not working and we had to carry all our luggage up to the lobby. The jacuzzi was also not working during our stay. Customer service was terrible and on top of everything they still charged extra for parking.
The shower water pressure was extremely weak. A 5 minute shower ended up taking almost 20 minutes just to wash off the soap. Overall, very frustrating experience and definitely not worth the money.

Very disappointing stay at Grand Park Hotel. The elevator from the underground parking garage to the lobby was not working, so we had to carry all of our luggage up the stairs ourselves, which was extremely inconvenient and unacceptable for a hotel.

The shower water pressure was also terrible — it was so weak that it was difficult to even rinse the soap off properly. On top of that, we were informed that the jacuzzi was out of order, which was another major disappointment since it was one of the amenities we were looking forward to using.

Between the broken elevator, poor shower conditions, and unavailable amenities, we had a horrible experience overall. I would not stay here again and would not recommend this hotel until these issues are properly addressed.

The room is clean and quiet. The only “noise” is when someone in the room above slides a chair on the floor, making that squeaking blackboard sound. Maybe there could be felt pads put on the chair legs?
It is a noticeably older property, reasonably well maintained, except the elevator. It is a bit dirty and needs to be swept or vacuumed more often. Was in the same condition for the 4 days we stayed there. Otherwise, overall good and convenient location. Would stay there again.

It's an old hotel, not at all a 4-star hotel as advertised. Breakfast isn't included, and it's not the same as going to the restaurant next door. Paying over $350 USD a night was a rip-off, honestly. The room was old, there were insects (I noticed this morning), the beds were old, and the air conditioning was outdated. Where I live, this hotel costs no more than $100 USD a night. For $350 USD a night, I could stay at the JW Marriott where I live. So I think they should consider renovating because it's not worth that money. The only halfway decent thing about it is the location.

I would have given this place a higher rating for cleanliness if rooms were cleaned daily rather than every other day. On the day my room was serviced, I requested fresh towels, yet the used ones were not even removed.

The bathroom exhaust fan was extremely loud, making it uncomfortable to stay in the bathroom while it was running.

The kitchen lacked several basic items, even for something as simple as heating food.

While the unit is well insulated from outside noise, internal soundproofing is poor. Noise from other rooms is very noticeable. On my first night, it was particularly disruptive, with a neighbor repeatedly slamming their door.

On one occasion, a staff member entered my room without knocking while I was about to shower. This was inappropriate and concerning.

The treadmill in the gym was malfunctioning and would occasionally stop while in use, which is unsafe. I reported this to staff, but no action was taken, and I had to use a nearby gym instead.

The sauna area was consistently untidy and often lacked fresh towels.

I recently stayed at Grand Park Hotel & Suites Downtown Vancouver, and overall it was a solid experience, especially for the price.

The location is a big plus—it’s right in downtown and within walking distance to Yaletown, restaurants, and public transit. Super convenient if you’re planning to explore the city without a car.

The staff were friendly and helpful, which made check-in and the overall stay smooth. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable, so I had no issues getting a good night’s sleep.

Got a slight discount for doing a Google review but it wasn’t clear in my booking that parking wasn’t included or what the daily cost was.
