The rooms and hallways on the lower floor were a little dated not dirty or broken just not the fancy marble bathrooms and the couch in our suite may look a little dated but all that was excused by our spacious room, overly nice staff in every aspect

Century Plaza's location is unbeatable. We enjoyed our time there and appreciated the friendly staff; the buffet breakfast was yummy and we had a great view from the 23rd floor. The room was very spacious, beds were comfortable, clean, and so was the bathroom. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Amazing view in the room. Small sleeping area but nice separate living area with kitchenette. Nice lobby, restaurant, and cafe area. We were given restaurant vouchers for 2 of 4 people for two consecutive days. Front desk personnel was rigid about not using for 4 people for the one day we could use it. Otherwise, great overall hotel in nice, lively neighborhood. Pool area in basement a bit sketchy with wet floor in locker room. Water in pool was warm and nice. Hours good. Great self-park connected to hotel. Restaurant staff very helpful. Nice World Cup viewing in lobby.

Very clean spacious room. Love that they provided an air mattress for the kids. We used the laundry room and the pool while there. Breakfast is great too. Only thing I would change is darker drapes to keep the light out as it was a bit difficult to sleep.

Perfect Location, easy to walk Downtown or Granville Island or to the trains. Room was clean, the gym had everything you would need. The Breakfast buffet was the best I've ever had and I stay in a lot of hotels. The service was super friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful staff, friendly and helpful. The restaurant was beautiful, meals were excellent. Nice to have a balcony just for view of the city and ocean. The only downside would be hearing the sirens from the hospital next door. I would recommend a room facing the opposite side, otherwise a good location overall.

I came down from my room to pick an uber eats order, and a security followed me into the elevator to make sure i had a room.
besides that my experience was good.

We loved our stay here. Large rooms, great service from all staff and a wonderful coffee shop attached with amazing treats! Great breakfast buffet as well. Centrally located and felt safe to walk around. The only cons I can think of would be the many sirens at all hours (although I figure this before I booked it due to the hospital being next door) and the pool being in the basement with no windows (which is not a problem for us as we did not use it or have children with). All in all a wonderful stay in Vancouver!!

What a great hotel, in a great location. The restaurant and bar are also very good too. Parking is convenient, and you can walk to the main Vancouver shopping area in minutes. The room was spacious, and the kitchen was a plus for a long term stay. I highly recommend, and will go back.

I booked with breakfast included, but was not made aware in advance. That breakfast requires reservations. Breakfast was good. I had requested a rollaway bed after finding out the pull out couch was removed from the room. I did not receive a rollaway bed, I also did not receive my $25 food credit. All in all it was a nice property and nice room. Very close to public transit and within walking distance of several attractions.

The property was super close to grocery/liquor store plus is in a good location. The staff was super accommodating. My child is autistic and needed some support and the staff was very accommodating in offering up a suggestion which helped tremendously. To this staff member thank you!

The buffet could have been better as food was cold BUT this was a very busy time for the hotel.

Room was not the same as advertised, we had booked a bigger which another friend had also booked. When we came to compare rooms, their was noticeably bigger and the same as advertised.

Booked a 2 bed and got charged for another guest.

Otherwise hotel location was good, the rest of the staff were professional.

Amenities like the pool and change rooms could be more attended to.

I had a wonderful stay at Century Plaza Hotel in Vancouver. The location is excellent, within walking distance to many attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable.

The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. We especially appreciated the complimentary luggage storage service, which allowed us to explore the city comfortably before check-in and after check-out. It made our trip much more convenient.

Overall, the hotel offers great value for money, excellent service, and a convenient location. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vancouver.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms, and very convenient luggage storage service!

I love this hotel and would totally stay here again! Maybe I am saying that because they gave us a room on the 30th floor which had an amazing view. We did not get to try the breakfast, dinner or amenities at the hotel because we had an early flight. The location was pretty convenient - not super close to the cruise ships or gas town, but not super far either. The Lift/uber in Vancouver is very reasonable compared to the US so that was not a problem. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was well stocked with goodies that hotel do not usually have in the room like toothbrushes and sewing kits. One thing to consider - there were stairs up to the bathroom and the shower was in a tub. So if you have mobility issues, you may want to request a special room.

This was a perfect place for us before our cruise. The location is amazing and within walking distance of a ton of places to eat and hang out. The area felt very safe as well. The reception desk was very helpful when we checked in an made sure we got enough extra towels and toiletries brought to the room for all four of us. The view from our room was amazing and the room was very spacious and clean. The only issue we had was that only 2 of the 4 elevators were working and we were on the 25th floor with suitcases and the wait time to get an elevator was super long and everyone was frustrated when we stopped at every floor with a full elevator. If they can fix that, it is a perfect stay!

Staff were friendly and helpful and the bedroom was nice. We were happy to receive a nice complementary buffet breakfast the day we checked out.
The galley kitchen is outdated and needs new counter tops and a decent sized coffee maker, but functional for 2 people. The couch and chair have seen better days and were very uncomfortable. A Giant TV was great. Bathroom is small and needs a facelift.

If you are booking this hotel with Expedia, dont forget to double check if your breakfast is included. While searching on Expedia, I was booking the hotel with breakfast-included options. I always do. But eventually when I went to the hotel they said the breakfast is not included. This made my experience particularly terrible.

The room was large and had a great view of the city. The full kitchen was a great addition. The espresso coffee machine was a nice touch.

The restaurant CP was wonderful. excellent service and very tasty food.

The hotel is very old and needs renovations.

I had to fix the chain in the toilet tank which was dirty and rusty. The hot water knob in the bathtub fell off in my hand.
The counters in the kitchen are peeling a a bit beat up.
The bathroom was small for two adults.

The parking lot was very small and difficult to get around in. If you park on level three or higher, there is no way to get back into the hotel unless you walk down the car ramps. Doors to the hotel on the stairs of the upper parking levels require codes and you are not given the codes.
You have to use a key card to get into the garage. One day mine did not work, so had to park in front of the hotel and go in and get a new key card.
The coffee cafe was very good and well run.

The big problem was noise. Every morning and night 10 times in an hour there would be emergency vehicle sirens. The windows are old and need to be replaced.
There are 4 elevators in the hotel. In my stay of 4 nights never did all 4 worked. One night only one was working.

We booked for inclusive breakfast, which turned out to be a $30/day contribution, so one entree + coffee + Juice was well over $30 when you add the tax plus any gratuity.

A buffet breakfast would be a better option for us, since there was only large main meals , no cereal, yoghurt etc……

The room was barely passable as a space to sleep in, but for the price I was shocked that the bedding was polyester, the air conditioner was ancient, loud and leaking, and the “black out” curtains didn’t really block the light all that well.

The morning we checked out it took over 35 minutes to get an elevator that wasn’t full to the brim of other travellers trying to get down to the lobby. We had to wait so long and then ride up to the 30th floor and stop at nearly every floor on the way down while we turned others away, as we were packed in like sardines. It was panic-inducing.

At the end of the day, a hotel in this price range should have, at minimum, bedding that isn’t plastic, proper light blocking window treatments and enough elevators to accommodate its many rooms.

We won’t be returning.

We had a great stay in Vancouver at the century-plaza hotel! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel was beautiful as were the views. The location is perfect as it is in walking distance to all the fabulous places you’d want to visit when in Vancouver Be sure to stop by Beyond Coffee in the lobby. Their pastry case was spectacular and the coffee was amazing! We will definitely be staying there again.

Pros: Convenient location, large room with full kitchen (included basic cooking tools, well maintained), comfortable bed. Coin laundry available in hotel. Friendly staff, pretty good café in hotel lobby.

Cons: very poor sound proofing (could clearly hear street level traffic and sirens on the 27th floor. I live near a trauma hospital at home and thought the sirens would be manageable but somehow the sirens were much much worse than I expected).

Had to run the shower for >15 minutes before the water got hot. I did not like the included toiletries. Half the elevators were broken, so there were long wait times. The elevators themselves only held 6-7 people at most.

This hotel is well situated with public transportation within steps. Front staff, could not have been more friendly and accommodating, the bellboy was absolutely delightful. Household staff needs more supervision. We stayed 4 nights there was an issue with the elevators and housekeeping staff would literally shove their equipment and themselves into an already full elevator, pushing people to the walls. No apology's, no greeting just surely glares.
The elevators do need some updating.
We did enjoy comfortable beds, bathrobes and good towels. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Didn't have much time to see or use anything as we arrived at 10:30 pm and left the next morning at 6:15. At check in, clerk warned of step inside the room. Room was dark, I was tired and assumed he was talking about the high transition piece in the doorway. While trying to get lights working, I stepped backwards off TWO steps, not one. Fortunately I landed on the bed and was not hurt.

The staff at the Century Plaza are very helpful. The room was comfortable. We had an executive suite which included a small kitchenette, living room area, and single bedroom with king size bed. We slept well. Bath was spacious. An amenity is $30 voucher for breakfast. But breakfast is expensive and the menu is minimal. If you pass on housekeeping there's a form to fill out for $10 voucher for the coffee shop. The view of the north and east Vancouver is nice. The hotel is by a hospital so Ambulance sirens through the night and day. The worst thing is the elevators. There's 4 but only 2 work so you wait quite a bit of time. It was a good stay overall.

Overall a positive experience though.

The room was clean and spacious with beautiful views of downtown Vancouver. The kitchen in my room came stocked with supplies for cooking. I felt like I was staying in my own apartment rather than a hotel because of how comfortable I was. Loved my experience.

The only complaint I have is that the bathroom sink took a very long time to drain. I would have to turn the water off to wait for it to drain before I could continue using it as it would start to back up quickly.

A lovely hotel and terrific, helpful staff. I had a corner room that included a kitchen area and sitting area. All of that was great. However I marked the total score down due to the sound proofing (important when hospital is next door), which was sub-optimal and also the shower that was hard to control and a bit weak.
