I was very disappointed with the hotel due the no updated information. One of the reason to choose this location was free parking. When I get there that no ano free parking due a chance on the parking. Ended up paying extra $84 for parking in 2 nights.

A pleasant surprise in a renovated older building. We were there for a weekend event and didn’t get much chance to explore and experience all they had to offer, but we are already planning our return. The room was larger than we come to expect in a downtown hotel at this price point and it was comfy and clean with a funky modern vibe.

Room was good size & immaculate. Good selection of restaurants bars nearby & well known entertainment precincts.
There were some renovations going on so cant tell you about the restaurant or amenities on site. The hotel provided voucher(s) for breakfast at adjacent cafe. Helpful lobby staff that stored luggage after checkout before airport departure

Staff were very friendly, welcoming, informative courteous and helpful. We had an issue with our room, which was quickly resolved by moving us to an upgraded room. The restaurant and bar were being renovated so there were no in-house facilities. In their place, a breakfast voucher was given for an excellent cafe just over the road. We ate there very happily each morning. Overall, we were happy and would stay again.

Nice walkable area. I walked around most of my stay and was able to go to a lot of places in the downtown area. A little disappointed the bar/restaurant attached was under construction when I arrived. It wasn’t mentioned in the posting, and the photo of that bar is still being used for promo even though it’s not there.

Very well updated contemporary modern design that was very clean & cozy. Comfortable beds, plenty pillows and towels. 3 minute walk to Starbucks, actoss the street from a brunch restaurant. Currently under remodel construction so the ramp into the building was unavailable but they helped carry luggage and pram up and down the stairs. Very kind & accomodating staff. Only negative that cant be fixed is the walls are paper thin; i clearly heard every word of neighbor's conversations as if i was in the same room but luckily they were sleeping at reasonable times

This was the best hotel stay I’ve ever had. It was so cutely decorated, clean, great staff, & the room was designed well with great space. And the shower head!!! I only stay places where the water pressure is great and has a handheld attachment. Amazing. 10/10 no notes. Vikram at the front desk was so nice and helpful at check in. Also, the cafe across the street has such good food and drinks! It’s called No Bad Days! I’m genuinely pleased with my stay. My cousins and I all agreed we’d stay there again when we come back to Vancouver.

I generally like the atmosphere of old hotels. It was a cute room but it had more of a hostel vibe to it than an actual hotel. Our room faced the front of Granville street and it was LOUD. People lined up at what I assume is a nightclub and were screaming and laughing all night. To the girl who screamed out she farted, to dudes screaming around for whatever reason, sirens and seagulls.
Also no onsite parking so we found a seedy alley parking spot and I felt uncomfortable leaving my vehicle there incase it was broken into. Thankfully it wasn’t but cost 45 bucks for 24 hour parking

Hotel bed was comfy- room was smaller than photos showed. I had an issue with my booking and that was a pain to deal with. Our car window was smashed one of the nights and although they removed the parking fee for that one night, it still wasn’t super great over all. Area has gotten worse over the years with homelessness so just be careful!

The bed itself was comfortable, but unfortunately that was the only positive aspect of our stay.
The window soundproofing was extremely poor. Traffic noise from the street was loud throughout the night, and we barely slept. On top of that, the curtains did not block out the light properly, and the streetlights shone directly into the room, making it even harder to rest.
The space between the foot of the bed and the wall was unreasonably narrow. I hit my leg against the sharp wooden corner of the bed multiple times, which was quite painful. The layout feels poorly designed and unsafe.
To make matters worse, breakfast is not even located inside the hotel but across the street. It doesn’t start until 8:00 a.m., which is unusually late for a hotel. This was the first time we’ve encountered a hotel with such a late breakfast schedule.
Overall, very disappointing and not what we expected.

This hotel was unfortunately not worth the price. I’ve stayed in many hotels before, and this one did not meet expectations.

The lobby has a very strong scent that may be overwhelming for some guests. I had to change rooms due to noise issues, and even after switching, the noise continued. The walls are extremely thin. You can hear your neighbours very clearly, including full conversations word for word. At one point, I could hear the entire conversation of the guest next door.

My original room had loud fan noise and music from outside, which is why I requested a room change. However, I did not realize that the second room would still have significant noise from the fan and thin walls. The fan itself is quite loud and woke me up, even while wearing earplugs.

The beds were comfortable, which I appreciated, but overall the experience did not justify the price at $300 for a junior suite, I honestly want a a refund.

Sound insulation is not great, I could hear my neighbor snoring during the night, and any conversation on the adjacent room, I could hear. Also, the room did not have a desk and a chair. (I was very surprised). They offered me a welcome drink at check-in (beer) but the beer was warm and the room did not have a minibar to cool it, so I left it in the room when I checked out. I will not be coming back to this hotel as I usually travel for work, and look for quiet nights and a desk+chair to work. Maybe for tourists is fine... Also, the breakfast was not available and offered me a voucher to have breakfast at a place across the street but that opened only at 8:00am. This was way too late, so I ended up having breakfast at a nearby Starbucks. I requested a refund of the vouchers for breakfast since I couldn't use them due that 8:00am was too late, and the hotel agreed to refund me. So at least this was ok.

I booked the superior room with 2 queen beds, expecting the lay out that was pictured on the website. I was given then classic room with double beds. They refused to switched me rooms and suggested I just take a refund and leave. Were unhelpful and had false advertising in their website. I paid for the upgraded room and did not receive it.

I adored this hotel. Staff are so good, lots of amenities. PERFECT location to get around city and arrive from airport. And despite it being downtown if windows are closed you can hardly hear any of the events going on outside if you are not at one of said events lol. Hotel also has a strict noise policy inside the hotel too so we never had any issues with other guests partying. Overall great weekend and i will stay here again.

Everything about my stay here was terrific - aside from one thing: when the aircon in the room below mine was active, it was loud and made my room vibrate. Fortunately it only affected me for 2 of the 5 nights I was here, but did make it difficult to get to sleep.
Otherwise the experience was fab. Hotel was spotless and clearly very well maintained. It's the only hotel stay in which my room was serviced everyday regardless of what time I went out - I always seemed to see cleaning staff around. Front desk staff were great. Decor is tasteful quirky, and wash/skin products were fantastic.
Location was perfect for me - fast food galore within one block, and the excellent restaurants of Yaletown a short walk away. 2 blocks from the retail centre of downtown. Sure, if you walk in the other direction you'll find the environment a bit less endearing, but I had no problems whatsover. Great value hotel that I want to give 5 stars, but the aforementioned aircon issue prevents me from doing so.

I booked this hotel to be in downtown and i wanted to have a city view. Unfortunately we received a lower floor room with no view, but they offered us to move us to a new room the next day, but since we only been there for 2 days we choose not to move. Instead they given us a free breakfast voucher, although i needed to negotiate a bit foer it.
All in all its a great spot if you want to be in the middle of sowntown and entertainment district, and the staff tries to make sure you have a great stay.

We had a very nice stay. The hotel is modern and has hood amenities. The staff is great, they really wanted to provide support for anything we needed ( had text messages from them to ensure we are ok). The bathroom was on the window side, so even if the gloominess of Vancouver doesn’t help much, it’s still great to have some daylight in it.The breakfast buffet is good, but overpriced for what it is. I think they should remove it completely from their offer, or make it in a menu; otherwise you have other options around for good and much interesting restaurants. Overall it was great, and in a very convenient location.

Absolutely fabulous stay at Hotel Belmont. The room was very clean and comfortable.

The exterior of the hotel and the interior decor gives off the vibes of a lounge, with a mix of class and eccentricity. The location is very convenient and central, a short walk from all major POI (points of interest) within the city - Gastown, Waterfront, BC Place, Rogers Arena...I have a hamstring injury and made it around town, hope to be back next time when I am healed LOL.

It's minutes away from the #19 bus line that takes you to Stanley Park (15 min. ride). I went through Robson street on my way to Rogers Arena to attend TWICE concerts, and I love the variety of restaurants you can try on this street, and around town in general. Many fast food chains and convenience stores are also located nearby.

The ice water chilled with cucumber was surprisingly refreshing. (and I don't even like cucumber)

The staff were always lovely, proactive, and kind. The breakfast was also surprisingly more enjoyable that a usual hotel breakfast (the breakfast area had nice Christmas vibes and music)Our only issue is that our 2 year old at one point in our trip was vomitting. He vomited on the carpet once and we asked if they could get it cleaned. We were surprised that they only wiped and sprayed (no steam cleaning at all) the floor. After that, we were extremely grossed out by how dirty the conditions of the floor could be.
