The only reason I'm giving the hotel four stars is the complimentary breakfast-was poor. Food wasn't hot, potatoes were rubbery, and the fruit barely edible. The bacon was the only saving grace. The toast was not even toasted.

Staff was very nice. The complimentary breakfast is definitely a plus. It’s a 3 item choice made to order with coffee and juice. You can leave cash for gratuity or they give you a ticket to sign to your room. (It’s a full service dining experience so although it’s free please tip!)
The only two small things of note are that we booked a “smart Queen” and the bed was a full/double size so if you need more space clarify that on booking. Also the parking is a bit tricky so I’d recommend pulling to the loading zone and getting the instructions from the front desk before driving around looking for their garage. The cost was $51 a night.

This is my second time staying at St. Regis Vancouver and I love it. I had to work for a day in the neighborhood with an editor so I decided to stay downtown. It was a nice and easy experience both times and I really enjoyed the stay. Will for sure do it again if the price is right =)

The hotel doesn’t stand up to “St. Regis” hotel name. The area is a bit sketchy and the rooms don’t have the best heating/ventilation system. It’s an old hotel that requires some renovation. Also, I find it a bit weird that they didn’t have a fridge in the room. Almost all hotels now have a fridge to be able to leave your water or maybe left over food for later.

I really like the hotel and will certainly stay there again. There is some traffic noise and Granville Street is worth avoiding between the train station and the hotel. In any event the easiest walking route from the station is through Pacific Centre to Dunsmuir. Turn right on Dunsmuir and the hotel is one block east

Parking situation was very difficult. Valet would work better. The lights in the bedroom were difficult to operate. Either all on or off. Staff was delightful. Homeless situation (while not in their control) is not ideal.
