Well maintained rooms. Very pleasant staff and excellent facilities. The location is exceptional with most points of interest being within 45 mins radius (walking). Lots of breakfast and dining options with breakfast options available from 6 AM and dining options available beyond midnight (and this was critical to folk like us with dietary restrictions (vegetarians))

Front desk was rude, unless they see designer bags or clothes. Too over rated. The regular room is tiny tiny not enough room to even put your luggage but they didn’t want to give me a different room. Felt pictures are scams. It’s stank disgusting outside people kept wanting to vomit. I booked it because of high rating but nope nope not even close.

I would never stay here again. The front desk was very rude when we arrived. One only treated me nicer when she saw designer bags on my mother, sorry I didn’t have enough time to get ready with a 3 hour drive, 5 am flight and layaway. I felt sick arriving.
Also we were given a room with a broken door. We had to inform them because we didn’t want to be charged for accidentals. The street smelled horrible. No good view. Only house service women were sweet.

We came in to NYC to celebrate my daughter’s 16th birthday. The concierge, Luis, reached out via email to check in and ask if they could assist with making the stay extra special. I let Luis know why we were visiting and he helped set up a special welcome surprise for her! Once we got to the hotel Shelley was amazing checking us in and we even had our room upgraded!!! Overall the best service I’ve had staying anywhere! Above and beyond, the place was beautiful and the location was so perfect for all the things we had planned! I’ve stayed in NYC many times and this will be our go to spot moving forward! Thank you again!

Lovely hotel, great location walkable to Penn Station with luggage. Breakfast was a small buffet; convenient for my teenagers but wouldn’t do it again with a bagel shop 20 meters down the road.
We booked an Executive suite as one adult and two teenage girls - the separation of the rooms cannot be beat in the City.

I literally purchased the package of the room titled view of empire, state building and could not even see it.I have pictures from every single angle and you can't even see it one percent.

Also, when I arrived, I will come now. I check the box and I paid $50 for the parking package. They told me it would be covered in the morning.They would validate parking. When I went to validate it, the lady said, no. We would have to make sure first.And then just walk into the back room. Never asked if I paid for it never even looked it up to see if I did. Thank the Lprd above the other person looked it up.That was overhearing and just went ahead and validated it for me otherwise I would have paid twice completely unprofessional.

Visited Manhattan for the first time in April 2026 and decided to stay at this Executive Hotel Le Soleil New York. Overall I'll call it a very good experience, and would potentially stay there again. Very convenient to the common mid-town attractions, including the Herald Square subway station. There is a nice steakhouse restaurant connected to the hotel that we chose not to eat at. Also, we opted out of the breakfast package, so I cannot comment on it. But in general, the room and common areas were clean and the staff welcoming.

Excellent service, extremely helpful and friendly staff. Felt like we were coming home each night. With 3 in our party, we were able to stay in one room, because of pullout sofa. Very, very quiet, no street noise, even though we were only on the third floor. We'll definitely return to this hotel the next time in NYC. Only suggestion is to replace the mattress on the pullout sofa.

Breakfast was good, with a good choice and tasty food. The room was ok but we had a few issues with used ear buds found in the room when we entered, phone not working unless used speaker setting, safe not working, plug in sink in bathroom not working and no kettle for hot water. However all this was dealt with very well by the staff once we raised our issues and all was out right quickly and Saloua assistant Front Desk manager was superb and looked after us very well.
We then did have an issue when we ordered a car and were charged $10 over what we had been quoted but the Operations Manager sorted this as soon as we informed him, again the hotel staff were brilliant at sorting and resolving any issues quickly.
This did not ruin our experience as the hotel was on a great location and our stay was good and comfortable and we enjoyed our holiday.

Nice room in an excellent location in the heart of Midtown. We had an executive queen suite with a sofabed, and it's a great price for a suite in Manhattan. It's not exactly a 1 BR suite, but there is a wall and bathroom separating the queen bed from the sofa bed area and that worked out for us and our teenager. The room was quiet away from street noise. The room was very clean, but the front door stuck a bit and was hard to open/close. The bathroom was a good size (but we don't understand why they don't make a full shower door... it lets the cold air in and the water out onto the floor). The bed was very comfortable, and though my husband and I prefer a King bed the Q worked out just fine. The room is a little small, but at this price point in Manhattan, no complaints. Chocolate fountain with marshmallows and hot chocolate in the foyer in the afternoon. Free coffee and tea in the morning. Also a breakfast buffet for $ in the restaurant on site. Nice restaurant and bar. Great service and overall a nice hotel. I'd stay here again.

I liked the hotel and the staff. Location was perfect. I had dessert at the restaurant and enjoyed it. Two negatives:
1: the gym looked good but was horribly smelly- a water problem. Unusable for my partner and I.
2: the room was called a suite but the extra space was a slender alcove - barely large enough for a suitcase. It’s essentially a single room

I had to extend my strip for 2 nights. Front desk told me that my room was reserved for other guests, but they had another room available. It was on a lower level, facing a building w/no view, but roomier.
After I returned from trip, I found out they charged $500 extra for 2 nights without telling me! Outrageous!
I’m never staying there again!

I have to be honest, the guy that checked us in our first evening just took my card and gave us the key, zero interaction or intro to the hotel amenities and services. However, Andre completely made up for that a couple days later. He was very welcoming and we had a great conversation about his city. I liked the housekeeping cards they leave if you decline services for the day and we never waited long for them to deliver anything to the door. No one mentioned the car service until we had already ordered a car to leave, but they said it’s usually less. Location is central to everything and the room was very nice. Breakfast was just okay, I would recommend they get a warmer for the oatmeal, even more affordable hotels have them. All in all I would stay again.

This hotel was great! The staff were so so friendly and helpful. It was clean. It was pretty. I loved grabbing coffee or the yummy fruit water while waiting on family to come downstairs. There was a cozy waiting room with a fireplace. It really was lovely. The location was great. I would stay here again for sure. The only thing I would do differently is bring my noise machine. There is something in the middle of the street that makes a noise every time a car goes over it. My friend says it sounds like the “dum dum” in SVU when the scene changes and she is so right! That’s not the hotel’s fault though. A noise machine would drown this right out.

This is a new found gem. Accomodated an early check-in (10:30am) on a Saturday. No problem. Meredith at the front desk was polite, knowledgable aand very professional. Bellhop, doorman all were as well. Room is a little larger for NYC, wehad the pull out sofa and it is separated from the main bed by the bathroom. Coffee with REAL mugs in room. Coffee and water are complimentry. Rooms are clean. Will definitely stay here again. One of the best, good pricing as well

Soundproofing is not good at all, my room was on third floor so street noise leaks in majorly, all night long, especially considering there’s a night club across the street. Room is very small and very average. No charges by the bed, only one outlet at the opposite wall. None of the experiences there felt any special at all. Cheapest water possible provided complimentary. Had to ask twice to send a second robe to the room. Was given queen bed room when I reserved king bed. The hotel is passable if it was mid range, by no means it has any exclusivity or luxury feeling to any of it. Does not justify the cost. Save yourself half the money and stay at the hotel next door.

Excellent and helpful staff. They were flexible and accommodating when our arrival and departure needs changed due to weather and flight changes. Room was very clean, comfortable bed, bathroom was clean and well-appointed. Lobby area was warm and pleasant place to have a visit, and is set back from the front door, making it more than a mere place to wait for your ride. Chocolate fountain and marshmallows appear in the afternoon.
