We had a wonderful 3-night stay at the Pan Pacific Hotel—truly one of the most beautiful and relaxing places we’ve experienced. From the moment we arrived, everything felt seamless and welcoming.

The staff were exceptional across the board—from the front desk to housekeeping and luggage management. Everyone was professional, warm, and genuinely attentive, making sure every part of our stay was comfortable and stress-free.

The location is also fantastic. It’s very close to the Waterfront train station, making it incredibly convenient to get around Vancouver, explore nearby areas, and even travel to and from the airport with ease.

Our room had a stunning view of the harbour—waking up to that scenery each day was unforgettable.

The hotel itself is stunning, with elegant spaces and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind. It’s the kind of place where every detail is thoughtfully taken care of.

We left feeling refreshed and already looking forward to coming back.

I was very underwhelmed with my first stay. The room was small and didn’t feel luxurious that I thought it should for the price. It was also quite noisy from doors from other suites slamming closed at all hours. My toilet seat kept sliding to one side too. Food was way too expensive. Not what I would expect from a luxury hotel.

The kids and I had an awesome stay at this hotel. The room was gorgeous. We got an upgrade to a suite on the 21st floor with a combination of city and ocean views. For a moment I didn’t like to look at the containers and the cargo trains but my 4 year old son loved everything-the trains, the planes, the cruise ship and the boats. He literally stayed spent most of his time at he windows when we were in the room. We spent most of our time at the pool an hot tub on the 8th floor with the most stunning views EVER. You get to view the city, the ocean and the mountains in the pool area. We also enjoyed buffet dinner with live band at the restaurant and everything. We will likely go back to this place again and I highly recommend it.

Beautiful location, did not realize it is in the convention center, so access was different (different elevators for different areas) and gym and sauna are in a different area of the building, never did see them since not by the pool. Parking is for smaller vehicles and pay someone other than the hotel. Walkable location and stunning view of the harbour.

This place is top of the line. Lots of great places to eat around and a safe feeling area. Highly recommend the float plane tour from the harbour. The only complaint would be the parking charge which I feel was a bit excessive at $75/day.

The hotel is nice but for the same price I would stay across at the faitmong. It Took 1.5 hours to check in. We were told that our room was not ready and to come back when we received a text, which was totally fine. When I came back, there was at least 60 people in line to check in or waiting for keys. I ended up phoning the hotel and I was told to “skip the line”. So I proceeded to the front and then was told I would have to line up. After almost 45 minutes they had helped maybe 4 people. I called the help line again and was told the same thing. I said there was a huge line up and that it was unacceptable to only have 3 people at reception for a huge cheerleading event. I was told it was an “expected event”. Varsity cheer is planned a full year ahead.

Bed was uncomfortable. Parking is the worst as they use a 3rd party and dont allow you to pay for your entire stay at once and give parking tickets out like candy. The elevator is also very annoying as you have to wait a long time and then you have to use a key pass that inconsistently works. I am surprised that this hotel has a 5star rating. For the price I paid for the room, definitely was not a 5star experience. This hotel is more of 3.5 star. I have stayed at many 5 star hotels.

This was to be a trip of a lifetime at a 5 star hotel which ended with us leaving feeling like we srated in a 3 star hotel. Our stay was 5 nights, room service did not touch the room for 3 days and we had to request to have someone come in twice to atleast empty garbages, give fresh towels, cups or refresh the beds. This is not the cleanliness or service expected for $400+ a night. The fridge in our room did not work which meant we could not store cold food items, the kini fridge was essentially just a warm box. The hot tub was malfunctioning, the water was scalding hot so we didnt get to experience it. The worst was our pre ordered breakfast for checkout day. I had to keep sending back my eggs because they were runny, the side was incorrect which resulted in a 1 hour wait and multiple phone calls for a correction. This service was lacking and resulted in me not having breakfast. My two family members and I wanted a wonderful breakfast together on our last morning which ended up ruined. Overall the experience which we expected to be amazing for our stay ended up being mediocre at best. If we wanted 3 star service we would have gone to a 3 star hotel. If my family ever manages to go on a vacation again it will not be at the Pan Pacific.

Fantastic hotel. Great pool and hot tub. Beautiful harbour view rooms and fantastic room service menu. Walking distance to dozens of bars and restaurants in Coal Harbour and Gas Town.

Room is clean and spacious. Shower pressure wasn’t great - my only complaint.

Otherwise love this hotel and truly enjoyed my stay.

Upgrading our room to the Pacific Club gave us access to the lounge where breakfast was available every morning. It was lovely offering fresh fruit, an array of cheese, and a regular breakfast with options such as Eggs Benedict, waffles, bacon, sausages and such. Throughout the day there was various snacks and pastries available with a nice selection of tea and coffee....while enjoying the view of Coal Harbour!

The two key things for me at any hotel for me are a good bed and a quiet room, and this place delivered on both.

I was checked in by the lovely Makoto. All the staff seem genuinely friendly and happy to help in any way they can.

The room itself was very nice, with a lovely comfortable bed. Nice toiletries and spotlessly clean.

I had dinner in their bar, which did good food, and was pretty reasonably priced for a hotel.

I really wanted to try their flagship Five Sails restaurant,. The menu looked stunning, but I was only there for one night.

The pool area is pleasant. Both the pool and hot tub were heated to nice temperatures.

There’s a good gym.

It’s in a great location, making exploring the city easy to do. If you’re coming to/from the airport, you can get the skytrain direct to Waterfront station, which is very close by.

A solid choice, and I would happily stay again.

Excellent Anniversary Stay. The views from the room were mesmerizing - 18th floor corner suite with city and harbour views, even from the bath tub! Service was top tier. Valet service was fast and worth it. We’d stay again in a heartbeat. The surrounding area does get quiet and dark after 9pm.

The staff are amazing very cheerful and efficient. The room was nice however due to older windows we could hear a man screaming and yelling the entire night and a fight, we were on the 14th floor! This wasn’t a fault of the hotel but it did impact our sleep

There were mice scurrying all over the restaurant floor while we were having a drink. The staff know all about it and no one seems to care. It’s extremely unsanitary and disgusting while you’re trying to eat a meal. Won’t be staying there again

Amazing location - steps to tour shuttles and transit stop with a direct route to YVR airport. Can't wait to stay at the Pan Pacific again !

We recently booked a stay at Pan Pacific Vancouver for my parents, and they had an absolutely wonderful experience. They couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful the hotel is from the elegant interiors to the relaxing atmosphere.

What stood out the most was the stunning view. They loved waking up to breathtaking views of both the sea and the city it truly made their stay extra special.

They also mentioned how comfortable and enjoyable everything was during their visit. From the rooms to the overall ambiance, everything exceeded their expectations.

Overall, they really enjoyed their stay and would definitely love to come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a beautiful place with amazing views in Vancouver!
