Small hotel in a great location on Burrard Street. Rooms were spacious and very well equipped with kettle, hairdryer, iron. Beds very comfortable. Hotel Burrard was in a perfect spot to access all parts of the city, close to Big Red Bus stop and plentiful restaurants, bars, shops nearby. Appreciated the snack trolley in reception where you could get Mocktails, crisps etc. Would highly recommend this place and price was very reasonable compared to other properties in the same area

We were on the Burrard road side and it was pretty loud. They have added in room air conditioners to the mobile kind ( needed now in the summer ) and I think that’s where most of the noise was coming from

This property is a hidden gem. The room was extremely clean and well organized. The staff was helpful and friendly at all times. The only comment would be the showerhead could have more pressure. Also, you may not quite feel comfortable in the surrounding area at first. Don’t let that fool you. It’s a great are with few if any homeless and many local and ethnic eateries are within an easy walking distance, as well as some shopping for basic food stuffs and alcohol. My wife and I were very happy here and caught buses to all over town.

The location is great. In the evenings they provide snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. The style is retro and west coast vibes. The staff were nice. Issue or challenges with the property 1) one small elevator (not the end of the world but tricky with luggage and staying on the top floor) 2) there were ants in our room and bathroom (didn't tell the staff as we noticed them the day before we were leaving) 3) the TV reception also broke down - we did tell the staff but they were waiting for a technician. I will add depending on time of day and which direction you're walking there may be some individuals you may want to avoid... but it's a pretty busy street especially with the hospital across the street so it doesn't become too much of an issue. Not sure if we'd stay here again, but it met our needs for the marathon weekend.

The property was clearly in 1960s redo. The bones of it were very old, but it was very clean and somewhat updated. The bathroom was very small with small sink and bathtub. Those were not updated. The staff was wonderful very helpful. It was in a very good location also.

There are plenty of good coffee shops and restaurants nearby, and despite being on a main avenue, it was surprisingly quiet. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Although the staff was friendly and our room was clean, everything in this hotel is small and difficult to maneuver with luggage, using elevator, etc. The espresso machine was kept well-stocked with water, cartridges and cream. The cafe (Elysian?) is excellent; however, I would not stay there again.

The room I had was facing the inner Courtyard which is beautifully decorated and very peaceful even with palm trees. The open pit fire that was on most of the day until evening quiet time was inviting and warm. They even had a piano that you could play down on the lower level where some of the parking was. I did not have a car so I don't know too much about parking. My room was extremely clean came it cooked with a Nespresso coffee maker complimentary two bottles of complimentary cold water had a refrigerator and good shower wonderful amenities of hand soap shampoo body wash and conditioner complimentary as well and in refillable bottles so as not to create as much waste as a lot of hotels do with the small bar soaps and small bottles of shampoos so that was appreciated and all the staff we're super friendly and helpful though it's not owned by the hotel there is a restaurant on the Main Street of Home Cooking that always smell good I didn't eat there and there is also a coffee shop connected to the hotel in the downstairs next to the lobby

The Burrard is an old hotel with the feeling of a motor inn with doors opening out onto a central courtyard. Though old, it is clean and the rooms are quite complete in offering the nuances of comfort. Would not call it classy but would call it comfortable in its way

Morning staff gave me a EV charging spot for my car again showing great hospitality. Its an old build hotel i believe but decently maintained at a great location. They provide excellent service even though the rooms are small. Greeat bike service and open lounge. Everything is walkable distance. Rooms are clean, cozy with air conditioner. Overall it was a great experience for my family especially if u are planning to roam around Vancouver downtown.

We enjoyed staying at this very clean and rather retro cool hotel. It was super clean. The staff were very engaging, and the decor was whimsical. The garden in the centre of the building, with the lit up palm trees, were truly quaint and illuminating. It’s a great bargain too.

V well located hotel. Only downside a little noisy if you are a light sleeper. No noise from other guests, but there is a large hospital across the street with ambulances arriving and departing at night-time. There are also homeless people in the area that can be heard at night-time. Might not be a problem at all for deep sleepers and the location is really good otherwise.

I recently stayed there as my son had a hospital appointment and it was wonderful to stay right across the street and walk right in the front door of the hospital. From the outside the hotel looks old, but the rooms are renovated. It felt safe and my car was in the parking underground, which was wonderful locked up and safe.

Parking was atrocious and would not recommend a stay there for anyone. This was supposed to be a hotel but it's a motel and we were deceived online of the description. Music in the courtyard was very LOUD and had to call the front office for it to be rectified. Elevator wouldn't work so we carried everything upstairs ourselves. Apparently, you have to reset for the elevator to work????
