On the first night of my stay, April 15th, the TV in the adjacent Room 403 was kept on at a high volume, making it impossible for me to fall asleep. The noise continued until 1:30 a.m. I contacted the front desk immediately, and staff came to knock on the door, but there was no response. As a result, I did not sleep well the entire night.

The road is noisy, the parking is terrible, very limited space, there was hair in the bathtub from previous guests, and the breakfast was just okay. I booked a room through Expedia and asked if we could extend our stay for another night, but they told me to contact Expedia. It's unpleasant, and the attitude towards guests is incomprehensible. I won't choose this place again.

Breakfast menu was ok, hot food was beef meatballs, eggs, and waffles. Pool was great to have but deep for young children so make sure to bring a floating device if your child can’t swim. Pool was ice cold as well. Staff was great, friendly and welcoming. Overall great stay.

We have stayed at La Quinta on a number of previous occasions. The rooms, though somewhat older were still adequate for the price, staff were pretty good, but were somewhat complacent, the real winner then was their breakfast… it was great and keeps people coming back. This last stay it had reversed, breakfast was 3 out of 10, staff were still cool and complacent but the rooms have had a real nice update and were spotless. My advice; get a new toaster please, fresh fruit goes a long ways and DON’T serve meatballs and rubber eggs -go back to little sausages and nice hot fluffy scrambled eggs like before.

The breakfast was very good, with lots of protein. There is 24 hour coffee, tea & water in the lobby. The room was comfortable and we'll appointed. Parking is included as advertised, but we had to park off-site due to limited space in the parking lot. Overall, a good stay for a fair price. I would stay here again. Thank you to the kind staff.

The staff are great and the hotel is situated in cool part of town, in my opinion. We thoroughly enjoyed the rooftop patio. However. There are some SMALL things that are a little annoying. Parking lot is very small. You will have to park in the street if the lot is full and that parking is sparce as well.
Another thing small...the beds. They are barely full size.
Last small thing: the pool. Very little. Like if there are more than 2 people in it, you feel crowded.

Our room wasn't very clean but the staff was quick and helpful when dealing with the issues. They were great during our entire 4 day stay.
The beds were comfortable but small.
The pool was way smaller than expected but the kids had fun anyway.
The breakfast was pretty good and had things like eggs, meat, waffles, cereal, baked goods, and some fruit.
Overall it was ok.

Old and tired hotel. Early breakfast closing time at 9:00 am. If you come in late at night and sleep in you’ll miss breakfast except for the coffee and water which is available 24/7. The pool is so tiny, jacuzzi will fit 3-4 people but you’ll literally rub elbows. The gym can only fit 3 people. I have to change room because the TV is not working, the aircon is broken and the sink is clogged! The only saving grace is the location of the hotel. Bu the way if you’re flying out of YVR, there is no free shuttle. You can either walk 1 mile to Lansdowne train station or just simply get an uber.

There have been a few minor renovations in the rooms with flooring, clean bedding, and a bit of paint. However, the windows are nasty, and you can hear a lot of hallway noise. As mentioned, there are some renovations, but they’re poorly done. The showers definitely need replacing; there’s black mold in the glass shower seals, they’re the old-school glass corner units. The walls have fresh paint, but it’s just rolled on without corners or any finishing touches. The beds are extremely small and very high, requiring a jump to get on them. I’m 5’5”. The pool is ridiculously small and oddly shaped, looking like it could use a full drain and refilling in both the hot and pool.

The biggest issue with this hotel, and all hotels, is the lack of communication when there are multiple sports teams. It’s loud, obnoxious, and detracts from other guests’ experiences. This particular hotel didn’t have enough parking for even a quarter of the rooms it accommodates, forcing us to park on the streets, which I wasn’t comfortable with. The breakfast was absolutely awful; there was very little selection and extremely low-quality food.

Overall, the only thing that matters is cleanliness and decent pricing. I don’t mind noise, so it should be fine.

everything except one issue that we had was good. the one issue we had was the cleaning person was very rude to us when trying to use the elevator from the fifth floor to the lobby had to wait for the next cycle of elevator floors before we could go down to the lobby.very frustrating when carrying all luggage and pet wating extra time for the one and only slow elevator.

The breakfast was more than what we expected which was nice. The hot tub was green water and foamy. But there was a lot of kids staying there while we were and it just defiantly needed more maintenance/shock. The sheets and pillow cases had some stains. Otherwise the staff were kind and the spaces were kept clean and tidy. The gym felt like a sauna and needed more air flow or AC. Location was great being so close to a skytrain station!

We were attracted to your place due to your pet policy and travelling with our 2 dogs.
The room was very clean. We were happy with the availability of amenities.

Where it went downhill was the too small area for dogs that came to relieve themselves. In the tiny grassed/dirt space provided, another large dog and owner had not cleaned up after themselves and the hotel had not checked the grounds. I stepped in a pile of poop after it was too dark to see. Not aware, walked it in the building itself. I was so upset and it ruined our stay.

Now we, as many others love our dogs and travel with them often. I was very grateful your place allowed pets. My recommendation to you moving forward is to organize a larger spot, close to the building for late night trips outdoors with our dogs. Dogs prefer grass, not cement or dirt. With a prepared small grassed area, there also must be a person to check that it remains clean. And the chances are, clean checks will see most all dog parents clean up after their furballs. There are a few owners that are disrespectful of others and therefore do not pick up after their dogs. However, for the next patrons to your place to enjoy your pet policy they expect your grounds to be clean, including no poop there to be stepped in.

Otherwise, an outstanding place for us to stay. Other than that prior dog’s owner and his/her abuse of your grounds for their dogs needs, we’ll happily come again.

Condition of the room was rougher than the last time I stayed there window handle was broken and big stain in the bathtub. upon checking in I had to wait upwards of 10 minutes for anyone to come into the foyer where the check-in desk is seemed odd that no staff at all were anywhere to be seen for up to 10 minutes. The hotel staff charge your card before you arrive, and then tell you they need to charge you again when you get there. They did not explain the reason or why they do this. The shower had mold in it, and the toilet handle was broken. It’s been nearly 24 hours since checking out and they still have not released the hold nor have they sent me my folio explaining the charges.
