We always stay at this hotel as it's the closest to my sister's home in Toluca. This time, we requested a date change from Dec 24 to Dec 25. According to Expedia, the hotel management agreed to the change without penalties and made the respective notes manually but by the time we arrived on Dec 25 at 10 pm they said they had no records of the change and the manager was not aware at all. Interestingly, their front desk person did say she received the call from Expedia and directed them to management. At this point, the hotel didn't offer any options but to make a new reservation at their current rate. Since we couldn't afford that, we drove back home two hours away, at 11 pm on Christmas. This is not the first time we have had issues with management here, a year ago $700 USD disappeared from the hotel room and the manager did not provide any support or help to find the person responsible. Be careful! Their customer service is the worst.

The hotel is located next to a noisy freeway, then at one of the corners is a \"sex shop\", and the neighborhood felt unsafe. In addition, there were no towels in the room, and the water at the bathroom sink splashed everywhere making our clothes wet.
Finally, the front desk staff was rude to us upon our arrival.

Great hotel in a quiet location

The hotel location itself wasn't anything special but the service was great and the rooms were spacious and clean. One thing that I always like is when I'm about to actually control the thermostat and this hotel lets you do that, so your room temperature is perfect. Noise level was low even though there was a highway very close to it. It's close enough to everything in Toluca as long as you Uber or take a taxi. We didn't really find much within walking distance. Overall, great for the value and would definitely consider this place if I went back to Toluca.

This was a great hotel experience. The staff worked hard to accommodate us and we're very happy to help. The room was very clean, the bar was a great time with an enthusiastic bartender and the restaurant food was delicious.

The restaurant is good for dinner with several good choices. Staff is excellent and very helpful. Kind of difficult to get to if you are coming from the east. Water in shower varies hot to cold, but very big rooms.

Great courteous service by the entire staff. I really appreciated that the hotel stored my car for two weeks while we returned home to deal with a death in the family. There was no charge. Over the last three years we have stayed at the hotel. Never had a problem. Recommend highly the hotel.

Good brand, bad hotel

Not good, This hotel doesn’t have shuttle from airport to hotel and vice versa. Restaurant buffet doesn’t have many options and it has very bad attention (I had to look for my coffee twice). I already visited other two Marriots nearby this zone and will be back to those.

I´ll avoid this hotel for my next trips

I’ll avoid this hotel during my next trips, place is to noise, attention at restaurant is VERY poor and buffet has very limited options, I had to ask more than trice for coffee and napkins but never arrived. I reserved for two persons with breakfast included, but front desk said that breakfast was only paid for 1 person. My room key damaged frequently then had to go to front desk lot of times to re-code my key. Hotel doesn’t have pool. It’s a shame for Crown Plaza this hotel, I already visited various from this chain around the world and in no one get this kind of attention, don’t know if is cultural or a local policy. Also forgot to mention, take care if you pre-paid because their cancelation policy refuses reimbursement if you had to cancel in the middle of your stay. TOO BAD

Good Comfortable Room

The room was comfortable and generous in size with a nice desk, couch and chairs. Refrigerator available too. The only negative was that in spite of no smoking signs in the room, there was a smell of cigarette smoke. I would however stay there again.

Exceptionally nice hotel, Very chic modern styling throughout. Great food and enjoyed a great Christmas party here. My wife and I satyed an extra day. We walked to nearby restaurants. It felt safe and secure and the staff spoke English with me very well. 5 star service.

Gran hotel súper recomendable!

Lugar con una ubicación privilegiada, tiene estacionamiento, la recepción fue muy cálida y las habitaciones están para dormir y dormir y dormir. El lugar es muy encantador para descansar y disfrutar de la estancia.

Mi esposo y yo fuimos a comer al restaurante del hotel eran casi las 3.00 de la tarde y no había lo que pedimos, nos sugirieron otro platillo y lo aceptamos, no antes decirles que se apresuraran por favor porque teníamos un compromiso a las 4.00 de la tarde, era cerca, pero nos tuvimos que ir, porque tardaron mucho y alcance a escuchar qué estaban descongelando la carne!!

La comida y el servicio del restaurante es excelente. Tienen dentro del hotel un cajero automático y un OXXO, lo cual me pareció muy bueno y práctico. Es un hotel bien ubicado y sus camas son extremadamente cómodas.
