Very pleasant stay; the hotel is conveniently located , staff was very friendly and looks like they’ve been doing renovations lately…a lot of new features. My room appeared to be refurbished but a couple of things were out of place …the bathroom door was really beat up and at a minimum needs some paint and the mattress was extremely springy. Lastly a lot of rooms including mine face a courtyard where they have a bar and music..although the music ended at 9, until that time you can listen to a lot of peoples conversations from your room; the music was very pleasant though

The bed and shower were very comfortable. The hotel is a little on the old side. Would be nice to see furniture and doors upgraded.
The staff was indifferent at times. We had a doorbell ring on our first morning at 8:30 am with hotel worker announcing “Lavandería” which means laundry service. Told the front desk not to have anyone ring us….it just went in one ear and out the other. It’s a culture thing I guess

1 shower door would hit the toilet if I was a bit fatter I would not fit.
2 pressure in toilet was dismal had to put water from shower. Did I tell you I could barely fit through the door to get in the shower. Other than that it was ok.

The good: Staff helpful, fast and convenient check in, very clean areas everywhere

The very bad: no remote for heater or tv available until I requested it, terrible Bed, lot of noise (renovations taking place since very early in the morning), terrible lighting, very dark room and bathroom.

When I checked out a day earlier no question was asked by receptionist

La entrada no es visible, no hay señalamientos, no hay iluminación, no hay personal recibiendo a los huéspedes. Los interiores están pobremente señalizados y prácticamente no hay luz en los pasillos. El baño está en malas condiciones. Las toallas están viejas, rotas y percudidas. No había agua caliente ni por la noche ni por la mañana. Muy mala experiencia en este hotel. En la zona hay por lo menos otros 5 ó 6 hoteles de precio similar, que con seguridad probaría antes de regresar a este establecimiento.

Comfortable option w/ beautiful surrounding area!

The hotel grounds are beautiful with indoor manicured gardens, sculptures and beautiful decors and space. My room was an executive suit and was ok, but could take an update. Overall was clean, practical and comfortable.

Very clean, pretty comfortable. There is a Hacienda feel to this place. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The front desk even helped us to find a reputable Taxi driver for our trip back to the Mexico City airport.

Very comfortable hotel in Toluca

We chose this hotel for an overnight stay because of its good reputation and the fact that it is just a short taxi ride away from the bus station. When we arrived the hotel, we found it was even nicer than expected. It is a well maintained property and the rooms are spacious and very clean. We had dinner at their onsite restaurant and found the food to be well prepared and tasty. (We chose Mexican specialties.). The service in both the restaurant and bar, and also at the front desk, was friendly and very professional. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

The rooms air conditioning did not work correctly AND the hotel is extremely humid and warm as there is not enough ventilation. The rooms are modern and clean but most of the hotel feels like a sauna because it is poorly ventilated.

Beautiful and relaxing hotel conveniently located.

Staff was always very attentive. Beautiful hotel with lovely gardens, excellent cafe and restaurant and wonderful service. Enjoyed the hotel amenities, especially the pool and gym. Highly recommend this hotel.

Walk to the galleria

Pretty good all around, they should fix the bullet holes in the outside windows. Pretty centralized location to main roads and the galleria.

Great place to stay and convenient location

Stayed here with my family and two toddlers, was a great stay, delicious breakfast and beautiful hotel grounds. I wish we'd had had time to use the swimming pool.

Fair price with great breakfast

The hotel needs renovation. Bathroom doesn't look clean, the walls need paint. I had issues to open the main door lock with the card key, and the staff didn't attempt to repair it. The room doesn't have good noise isolatation, so it is hard to get rest in there (music from the bar stopped passed 11:00PM).
The breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff is very friendly.

Visit to Toluca

Toluca does have a \"Historical Center\" - which is the area of a Mexican city that interests me. However, the hotels are mostly some distance from it.

cold shower, colder reception, but good hot breakfast

The staff was not friendly. They were obviously not happy to see me arrive at the property on a bicycle.

The only thing they could say to welcome me was that bicycles are not allowed in the rooms.

The bike is actually a pretty expensive and after a discussion with the manager, they reluctantly allowed me to take it in.

I've been traveling all through Mexico on the bike. No other places I stayed at had an issue with me putting the bike in the room. The rooms at this Hotel were nicer than average but nothing special to give justification against bicyclist.

The other thing was the shower. There were 4 knobs and not one of them supplied hot water. After fussing with it for 30 minutes I settled for a tolerably cold and abbreviated shower.

On a positive note, the breakfast buffet included with the room was very nice. They served several hot dishes, fruit juices and eggs cooked to order. But they were not fully set up until a half hour after they opened. Anyone needing to get an early start (before 8am) should probably skip the breakfast.

Also, the wifi in the room worked very well.

In summary though, I almost certainly would seek out a different hotel for my next visit to Toluca.

Puntos en contra: Aunque está limpio no demuestra la pulcritud que deberia tener un hotel de esta gama. Uno de los colchones de mi habitación estaba todo aguado y rechinaba, el piso del baño como percudido, y lo peor que cuando llegué a mi cuarto a las 4.30 de la tarde la habitación estaba sin hacer, lo resolvieron pero considero que son detalles que deben de cuidar porque uno va de paseo y llegas cansado como para todavia esperar a que hagan la limpieza.
