Super king size bed was amazing but the pillows are disappointingly soft and not comfortable. The duvets are too small and they don’t have double duvets. The room and communal areas are spotless but the staff are unfriendly, if you can find them, lol. Very modern design with state of art heating and cooling system, second to none, very impressive. Overall it is a really good value for money.

Very pleasant stay. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. It was over 32 degrees during the day, and the room air conditioning was very effective. We also appreciated the free drinks in the in-room fridge. The hotel is a little out of the town centre, but we are happy to walk so it wasn't an issue for us. It was only 800m from the Zehn Freunde Triathlon event, which is what we were visiting for, so it was very convenient for us. Only negative for me is that it seems a bit mean that they charge 15 euros to park your car in their own on-site car park, it would be better if that was cheaper or free.

I had a good stay at Dormero in Darmstadt. The hotel is 5 mins walk from Darmstadt Nord and is relatively modern, which great features like USB C ports on the plugs and AirPlay on TV.
The bed was huge and very comfy, and the room was a great size as well as being nice and quiet.
The only negative was that you had to ask to have your room cleaned. I did so, but it wasn’t cleaned when I was told it would be.
I’d definitely return and the hotel was worth the price paid.

The room was very small and it was very very warm in our room. We asked the front desk people to see if they could help us with the thermostat and they said they'd try but the room remained hot. We woke up sweating every morning. For two people, the room was very cramped and we often had to go around each other to even get to the bathroom in there. Other than that, the stay was fine but we wouldn't book here again.

Should have been an easy 5 stars. Unfortunately they have designed the fancy full wall TV enclosures that affectively turn the wall into speaker. My neighbour left the TV on all night, and I didn't get any sleep. The issue is the box acts as a sub woofer and the room on the other side gets a drum and base style affect that's far louder than the TV noise itself. Even good quality silicone ear plugs couldn't help ( not sure if it's the frequency or if it due to vibrations)

booked a standard double room (Queen bed) but was assigned to an irregular shaped room at the very end of corridor by a careless and \"couldn't be bothered\" manager, who gave a two-single-bed room at the beginning and was reluctant to correct. When I finally got him to switch to a queen bed room, I noticed width of the room is less than two meters, so the end of the bed is touching the other side of the wall. It was tight and suffocating as hell. I asked the front desk to switch me to a \"regular\" room. \"No, unless you want to pay extra 20 Euro for an upgrade\", says clerk after checking with her manager. When I showed the standard room picture as posted in Expedia, which is day and night different than the room I had, the lady told me I would have get a better room if I had booked direct with hotel, instead of using Expedia. What a nasty bait and switch! After half hour back and forth arguing and me talking to hotel manager over the phone, they agreed they will move me to a new room in the afternoon.
But they lied: when I returned to hotel at 10pm, the new front desk told me the manager told him they can't move me. After insisting to speak to manager to resolve this, I was told I need to pay $20 Euro to switch because cleaning my current room will cost them.
It was frustrating dealing with manager/staff lacking of minimum care of customer. The front desk guy even told me never book this hotel after this stay....

It is a hotel that is easy to find, convenient to travel. There are convenient public buses. There is a free mini bar, clean rooms, big screen TV, very satisfying. The bed is comfortable but the pillows are not good. Everything is very good. If coming to Darmstadt, will stay here again. The parking fee is a bit expensive, 15€/night.

The hotel is very nice and clean. The walls had quite a few scuff marks on them, but they were not dirty. Soap was provided, but not shampoo. Extra pillows and blankets were in the closet in our room. (nice!)
Onsite parking was fantastic. Staff was courteous and very friendly.
Biggest complaint was that the room was BLAZING hot and the thermostat couldn't lower the temperature. Did not get a great night sleep. Opening windows could be an option if the street noise doesn't prevent sleeping for you.

Wände sind recht hellhörig. Im Bett lagen Haare, auf dem Toilettensitz waren Flecken und im Bad teilweise scharfe Kanten. Die Zimmer sind ziemlich klein, sodass man sich zwischen Fernseher und Bett vorbeiquetschen muss um rüber zu gelangen. Alles in allem ganz OK, aber auch etwas enttäuschend - hab mehr erwartet bei all den guten Bewertungen.
