All housekeeping and front office staff was good, friendly and helpful especially Mr Hafizi front desk who help me resolve my cake issue. Hotel was convienent located near CIQ. Room was clean and common area well kept. My stay was not good due to 4 reason in room 1925. Shower water pressure very low and hot/cold water temperature was forever changing thus i keep adjusting my shower tap. Body foam bottle pump action faulty. The room does not come with a mini fridge. As i was staying 1 night for my wedding anniversary thus i did not request for room change. Thanks

The room was slightly small but it doesn’t affect comfortability. However room had ant trails and you could hear the hallway noise quite obviously. The staff did try their best to help whatever we needed, though I did get my queue cut a couple of times by foreign guests and the agent helped the queue cutters first lol.

Good location. Opposite Komtar which is next to City Square. Walking distance to the customs.
Room is small 14 sqm but quite well equipped. Thrre is a safe, bedroom slippers, kettle, hairdryer, toothbrush & other toileteries.
A convenience store is at the lobby so can get drinks & snacks 👍

Overall experience is OK. For the price, it is value for money - therefore don't expect 5-star facilities, service and tip-top cleanliness. Great location to access Zenith Mall next door and Komtar/City Square (need to cross the busy road but is actually quite safe).

Expedia does not cover hotel tax of MYR 20, so you need to pay when you check in. There is a refundable MYR 100 damage deposit that you also need to pay when you check in, so make sure you collect it when you check out. The breakfast is decent. The room is decent. The staff service quality is decent.

Check-in time is 3pm but i was in the queue at Reception for 45mins, all because the Housekeeping Department wasn't able to turnaround the room for new check-ins. Hence, it snowballed to one and another. Knowing the hotel is fully bookwd in advanced and they failed to plan the necessary manpower.

Room comes with breakfast but it was pathetic!!! Imagined you have to wait for 15min for the refill of the food!! Selection was bad, the mains are just 3-4.

First room they assigned me, the aircon was not working very well and there was no minibar. So, I asked to upgrade to another room with a better aircon and with a minibar at an extra cost of RM120. Stay was very comfortable after that.

A clean room should be a basic courtesy!

My initial visit to this hotel was awesome. However, this recent visit dropped my expectations for this hotel. The air condition produces sound which was quite disturbing during our sleep. The hotel only asked a technician to come fix it temporarily, and did not resolve the root cause. The irritating sound appeared during mid of our sleep at night which was very not conducive for our sleep.

The bed sheet has stains on them. We have asked housekeeping to make up our bed on our second day of stay. However, they did not replace our bedsheets. The curtains in the room also had stains which looks like poop stains.

I understand I should not expect much from a 3 star hotel, and with the price point that I am paying. However, I would just like to say that I don’t need an awesome room/service, but room cleanliness is a basic courtesy that a hotel should at least be able to provide.

When i hand over my passport to check in, the staff asked for my itinerary / booking ticket which i did not prepare. So it takes a while to scroll through my emails and when she sees me taking a long time, she claim she will use my passport to check in. Alot of hotels already use passport to check in, so i am irritated for her so call request in the first place. Hotel is ok for the price but in the gym, 2 treadmill are powered on, and the cycling and epilitical trainer machine are not powered on and i cannot find the cable to power on. The spiral staircase to the gym is hazardous...small space and narrow..check out was fast, the housekeeping lady saw us checking out and directly ask our room number, maybe thats the reason for the fast check out.

The only good thing about this hotel is location.
Seperately booked 2 rooms with in law.
Rooms are dirty , ours even have a travel size facial wash still in the bath room. Water is not hot , water pressure is miserable.
Music and cheering from nearby pub till at least 2am.
Checked in , found floor dirty, requested bedroom slipper at front desk on our way out. Counter say will leave in our rooms.
Return to room but no slipper.
Call and request again. Still didn’t come.
Tv not working as well.
Complain to counter the next day during check out. Staff claim will ask manager to email us on the matter the same day.
A week passed and no email at all.

Very friendly and helpful counter staff, has nice cafe within the hotel. Only minus point is if u stay nearer to grou d floor, the road and pub noise level will be audible from the room.

Better than expected stay after reading many bad reviews. Probably because I stated my request before checking in.

- small but clean room good enough for crashing for 2 nights
- shower room clean and working order.
- very basic so bring own toiletries they do have shower cap and toothbrush set
- used plastic bottled water can ask die more if needed
- front desk staff helpful when ask to get cab during peak raining evening.
- check in and out was easy and quick

Just across the road from Komtar JBCC and 5 minutes to City Square Mall and 10-15 minutes walk to nearby cafes and restaurants.
