The location was excellent, being close to BTS station, shopping malls, all kinds of restaurants, yet in quieter alley. There was a washing machine with dryer function, which was a nice surprise. Both kitchen and bathroom were spacious comparing to other hotel/residence rooms we stayed before, which made our 8 night stay even more comfortable. Daily cleaning service was done professionally also.

It was a terrible place to stay. The aircon was leaking lots of water, for a moment it was running like a tap!! The toilet floor has stains that looks like red wine stains. I suspect the arm chair has bugs. I was sitting on it and i felt sudden pain as if i was bitten by something. The bathtub has tiny black stuff that looks like some tiny bugs. The 2 tubes of shampoo/conditioner and cleansing foam provided was of average quality. Location was ok but the signage is not very obvious. Many drivers miss the entrance and go to the wrong place. Definitely not the best option for a vacation, i wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. I think the management should consider investing to upgrade the rooms.

The shower water comes either too hot or too cold, can't get an average termperature at all.
The sink in the washroom is flooded, the water goes very slow, can't even finish brushing the teeth purpose or water will be flowing out of the sink!
Living already on 5/F, still there are noise easily heard from outside.

Good Property Can Highly Recommend.

Very Nice Property. Nice Staff, though some do not speak much English. Hotel very clean. FAST Elevators how nice. Breakfast options though limited were ok with eggs made to order. However, the restaurant is very limited for lunch or dinner mostly Indian food (which is fine) but not much else. The Sister Property across the street \"Oakwood Suites\" has a bigger much more varied restaurant. Location of this property is excellent. With nice shopping center and pharmacies 200 yds. away. Large stocked 7/11 about 50 yds. away. BTS Metro Station about 200 yds. away. This is a safe area to stay at, just the traffic at times is horrible to cross the street but everywhere in Bangkok is the same. If I return to Bangkok I will stay here again.

Very Clean, Very Comfortable and Nice Staff.

Overall an excellent place to stay. Restaurant is limited mostly to Indian food (which is fine) which gives you little variety. That is easly resolved by crossing the street to the sister property the Oakwood Suites, which has a large restaurant with many different items. Breakfast at Oakwood Residence was ok, limitred, but did have eggs made to order. I CAN RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY.

I often stay at Oakwood Rsidence for its proximity to restaurants, shopping, and BTS (Phrom Pong). The hotel staff is always attentive and helpful. The hotel is a bit older but still maintained well and the gym is excellent.

The only change I would make, and this goes for most all hotels, is to be more environmentally friendly by giving choice to keep towels for more than one use and anything that could be done to lower plastic waste and encourage recycling (although not certain if Bangkok provides the type of infrastructure necessary to support recycling programs).

The property location is perfect! Next to the BTS skytrain as well as Emporium and Emsphere. I chose this hotel because it was pet friendly. The staff was wonderful and helped with anything that I needed. Room was a small but comfortable studio with seating area and kitchen. Perfect for short or long term stays.

레지던스라 음식도 해 먹을수 있고 평수도 넉넉한편 이였습니다.위치는 말할것이 없이 좋습니다...위치가 깡패인곳이죠..!!!...그런데...조금 오래된 느낌이고 샤워기도 오래된 느낌이라...불안했습니다....세면대에 물을 받아보면 살짝 깨끗하지 못해서 생수로만 양치질을 했습니다....낡은 호텔이라 어쩔수 없는 일이라 생각됩니다...다른것은 모두 좋았구요.직원분들 친절했습니다...(루프탑에 있는 수영장은 초미니...ㅎㅎ)

We've booked two connected rooms for 9 days. The staffs at the counter were very courteous and helpful, particularly a lady who arranged our room upgrade. One minor error was the house keeper failed to put teabags in the pentry except the first day😁. Overall we have a pleasant stay here.

Oakwood is a great hotel. This is my second time there and I will return again. The showers have hot and cold water as well as a tub. The location is wonderful as well because it's near the Emporium Mall and sky train for easy transportation around Bangkok.

FRONT DESK Attitude awful

When you enter any hotel, the first interaction with the front desk is very important . We are a party of 9 . We got 2 two/bedrooms and 1 one-bedroom for 6 days. Originally we were booked for 5 days but we decided to add an additional day and hotel said we had to cancel original booking which we made 6 months ago and rebook at again at a higher rate, if we can get one. We then decided to do another booking just for the additional one day. On check in we asked for late check out on the departure date. They said we can stay until 2 and if we stayed over that time we have to oay 1/2 day rate. That was fine with us. Also, on the fifth day, we have to checkout and check-in without transferring rooms. That was fine with us. Next day, we are advised to checkout our room on the fifth day and we will have to transfer to another room. What is the logic of that? The most annoying thing is that Omi , the lady in the reception, also denies everything she said. She is a total lier. I don’t even know what position she holds. She does bit belong in the hospitality industry. My son left on day 5 and was asking if he can get a one-day refund ince it was still one month before the deaine for cancellation. Hotels.com was also trying to reach out to them. The Answer is No .

I would to say on the bright side that the hotel is conveniently located, rooms are spacious and clean, chamber maid was friendly and accommodating.

Wonderful hotel in Sukhumvit!

We stayed at the Oakwood Residences in Sukhumvit and were very pleased with our stay.

The hotel is very well located and within a short 5 minute walk to the Phrom Pong BTS with a 7Eleven even closer. The rooms are big and it helps that there is a washing machine and kitchenette in there as well. They were comfortable and well furnished. Breakfast was quite basic in terms of choice but whatever was offered was very good. The pool is quite small so I did not use it at all. The best part to the hotel are the friendly, pleasing and efficient staff who are ever ready to help and full of smiles.

Thank you, we will be back!

The hotel was amazing, and the staff were professional. I had no problems communicating in English with the staff as they were able to answer all my questions. The hotel room itself was superb. The AC was cold and the showers had hot water with good pressure. My room was large and spacious. I will stay here again!

The housekeeper can only do the cleaning with the existence of the tenant. Pros and Cons, but I prefer they can clean the room when I am not there. If to prevent theft, then a certain training must be given to them. Another thing is that they come in at the 8am-8.30am which is disturbing my sleep.

The staff are amazing and very accommodating. I love the room and was provided with an upgrade. I had some specific requirements that Khun Wanida (Assistant Revenue Manager) has been fantastic in supporting, of course along with the rest of the staff. Food from the restaurant had been great. Its one of the bet locations for shopping, restaurants and simply getting around with ease.
