Regarding to the staying the hotel Arize for 3 days. I have been travelled Bangkok for the past few years and it was the poor experience that i never had.

1) The Wifi issue - 1st night, the wifi keep stop and runnig speed for less than 1MB. I tried to contact reception but the phone also down as well. Then I walk down and request the fix issue. They send the service to my room and he didnt nothing and he said because of lots of guess.
Even I talked to reception and they claim it was lots of guests which slow down. I never had expereicned in any hotels becasue of lots of guests can internet speed interrupted.

The 2nd night, internet goes on and off again. Even cannot finish one 10 minutes youtube video. I go down to reception and they send a technician guy again. He come to my room and re-set the router, he explained it will goes to normal after re-set the router.. After he left, the problems appeared again.

2) There are no power point on both side of bed, Then I tried to connec the mid way between the TV and the bed.
However, that power point was face, it has no power for the socket. I gotta connect my handphone and Laptop on TV far end side.

3) The finishing of the bath room, tiles and the drilled holes. That was unfinished wall and paint that on the shower room which doesnt fit to standard hotel requirements. I do believe there as no QC in the hotel.

Overall a good place to choose in Bangkok due to the size of rooms, amenities and great location. We travelled as a family of seven with a booking for 1 two bedroom unit and 2 one bedroom units, with a booking made well over 3 months prior and staying for 13 nights. Upon arrival we were assigned rooms on different floors, including one room that was a smaller unit than what we paid for, but compensated with breakfast vouchers for just 4 persons. The smaller room was reassigned the following day. Service levels were mixed - while some guests (including us) were given their room keys and pointed in the direction of the guest lift, others, including a solo traveller staying for just one night, were accompanied to the lifts and assisted with their luggage all the way up to their room. Housekeeping service was also a let down - over a period of 13 days, my room was only vacuumed once (on the last day before check out); laundry left in the room before 10am inside the provided bag with the forms filled out, weren't collected as at 6pm upon return to the room; calls to reception to inform them of laundry collection was never answered over a 40 minute period.

Despite the shortcomings, I would receommend this hotel to anyone who loves the convenience of public transport, great eating places and many other conveniences all within walking distance from the hotel.

First night was given room with faulty air-con and requested for a room change.
Second night new room toilet bowl and shower bath tub was badly choked and have to call housekeeping twice.
I have stayed in this Arize hotel for many times and even recommend to my friends. This hotel requires more maintenance and repair work and stop recycling faulty room to guest.
On my check out day overheard some Japanese guest complaining about his room.
Total stayed for 6 nights, housekepper did not even change bedsheet and pillow case during my stay.

It's a good first place to stay in Bangkok and learn the area. The place was kinda dirty, staff was nice, but hard to speak with about issues. Hotel was kind of loud, but you get what you pay for. Breakfast is standard. Not a bad choice 3/5 stars for sure.

I really like the hotel, great location, short walk from Emporium shopping mall and Phrom Phong BTS.
Nice little welcome gift. But, compare to last year, the quality has gone down a little (breakfast and little details such as no more coffee in room - only some mix with milk) - I hope this is temporary and not a trend.
Will come back again later this year.

6 nights in Arize Hotel.

We booked a 2 bedroom with 2 bathroom apartment. Overall, clean, comfortable.

We would return again.

On the first night around 4 am the garbage truck waked us up. It was clearing the garbage of the hotel next to Arize Hotel.

It should be Ibis. The truck stayed there till around 6.15 am. It sorted the rubbish which includes a lot of empty glass bottles which produced a lot of cling cling noises.

It disturbed our sleep for more than 2 hours.

We did feedback to the front desk manager. It seems to improve the situation as the duration of the daily garbage visit was reduced although it still happened daily at the same time for the 6 nights we are there.

Overall, excellent location, reasonable pricing, clean and spacious. Would consider it again.

I chose to stay here for two nights in Bangkok to explore the Sukhumvit area, and the location did not disappoint. This hotel is a 6 min walk from the closest SkyTrain location, 5 minutes from an incredible mall, and has countless restaurants, bars, spas, and shops all around in any direction.
Breakfast was good and had plenty of options - I’m not sure if they feature a different cuisine each day, but they had Japanese curry the morning I ate there, as well as western options. Room was comfortable and the bed felt great. This is a great place to stay if you want to spend time in Sukhumvit or use the trains to get around Bangkok.

I booked a deluxe room but I believe I was upgraded to a one bedroom suite without my knowledge. Tbh, I can't remember what I booked but I was very happy with my stay. The rooms are clean and modern, I wouldn't say it's luxurious as there were a couple of minor issues which I didn't complain as it didn't bother me too much. Location is great, a short walk to BTS and there's a famous noodle shop next door that gets very busy (closes Monday and Tuesday though) plus there are plenty of Japanese restaurants nearby if you go hungry.

Love Arize Hotel for it’s convenience to Phrom Phong BTS station. 7-11 is across a small road but it’s like connected to the hotel. Bed is clean, sheets fresh. Toilet is spacious and wet floor dries up fast. For safety to guests I need to highlight following :

1. Common corridor is very dim. Need brighter light bulbs.

2. Bath tub doesn’t have hand bar. It’s very dangerous trying to get out of the bathtub and my feet kept slipping off.

Overall my 6 nights stay is good. Location is great, a short walk to bts, a very famous pork noodle shop at door step, another short walk to a 3 years michelin izakaya and a 7-11 at doorstep. The hotel seems to have two types of one bedroom suite, one is bigger and one is smaller not sure how they determine the room to be assigned. The smaller one face the swimming pool btw. My room look new and nice too.

Staff were surly (unfriendly) and the new hotel was clearly a quick refurbishment of a very old hotel with old fixtures next to newly-tiled floors in the rooms. Breakfast selection was small but good enough (apart from undercooked sausages, the only meat option); arrive early because the staff are slow to refill options. It's in the center of a Japan-focused red-light district, which might be a plus if you want the convenience of late-night Japanese restaurants.

It's super near the MRT, with several 7-elevens around it. If you're going as a group of 4, and don't stay in the hotel for long, the suite is a spacious value for money. Do not expect carpeted floorings, nice toilets etc. The walkways are a lil dim, but it's nice having windows and morning light flowing into the living area of the suite. :)

Arize is in the perfect location for all that Sukhumvit has to offer. The hotel itself was tucked back from the road and very quiet. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and the food was great! Their rooms are also bigger than many you'll find in this area. We'd definitely stay here again.

The location was convenient, about 5min walk to BTS and Emquartie and Emporium. But hotel rooms may need some refurbishing. The door lock was faulty and we had to spend about 5min each time waving the card in front of the lock sensor before it would finally open. Drainage for shower was poor, and flooded everytime we took a shower. TV was blur even though we requested for assistance to fix it twice, and wifi was constantly down.

Niche Cozy Hotel in Sukhumvit Vicinity

A niche hotel with good customer service from staff and oversees by a capable and friendly Manager, Mr Thanat. This has been my second time in this hotel this year. The 2-room Suite is suitable for 4 to 6 pax, spacious with 2 bathrooms, living, dining and kitchenette.
The popular pork noodles outside the hotel is a must try. Walking distance to BTR and Emporium and EM Quatier. Can’t ask for more for an amazing holiday!

My husband and I stayed two nights here as we passed through Bangkok on our way to the gulf islands. Check in was fast and easy and they didn't bother us to leave a deposit in Baht as many hotels will do. Our room was a \"superior room\" on the sixth floor. It was small and basic, clean and concise, nice to have a robe, slippers, and umbrella. The safe was easy to use and also fit our laptop. The internet was poor- inconsistent and slow, seemed like it couldn't support us both using our devices at the same time. The fridge was way too small and not really cold, but better than nothing. The rainfall portion of the shower didn't work at all, but the basic showerhead was fine. Loved having a little fitness room on the first floor with good machines, free weights, and international news channels. The pool is small but clean and cute; a family was enjoying it happily while we were there. The hotel interior and hallways especially are a bit worn, but the room was satisfactory. The elevator doesn't work unless you have your key card so be sure to get two when you check in if you're not traveling solo. It's a small walk from the nearest station, but easy enough to find. There are plenty of food, convenience store, massage, and shopping options all around. Also interesting, lots of Japanese TV channels and seems to be in an area with a lot of Japanese- which surprised us because we're also from Japan.

The room was comfortable, quiet and clean. Easy access to the local area restaurants. Washer/dryer in room was a nice surprise, however the dryer didn’t work very well so we hung our clothes to dry. Overall, a very good hotel. My only complaint wa that the hallways smelled like stale cigarette smoke. The room did not smell, so it didn’t bother me.
