Check in was slow. Room is a bit dated and treadmill still works but looking old. Area is good, 2 big malls right in front for good variety of food, quite a few nice bars/clubs nearby. Traffic is bad of course but BTS is round the corner

I stayed here last year and really liked it, so I stayed here again. I made a mistake in my booking and asked for a flexibility but none was given. It’s my mistake, so I don’t blame them, but I won’t be going back there.

Everything was ok. I think the food for breakfast needs improvement especially making sure that when food item is finished it is refilled right away for other customers. There is shortage of good ingredients in some of the dishes. For example in the noodles dish only a few shrimps were included. It looks cheap to customers. Also at 6am when Thi breakfast buffet is opened staff are not always ready. Food items were not brought out on time.

This is the third time I stayed in this hotel. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Perfect location with <5 mins walk to 711, massage, Muay Thai gym, skytrain, malls, parks, and street foods; which are all the things you come to Bangkok for right? =) Cannot recommend more.
I did notice some slowness on the elevator this time. There were 4-5 times in my 4 nights stay where I needed to stop 6-8times to get from my room on 28th to the lobby or back to 28th. Not complaining, but want to give feedback to this wonderful hotel to improve. And I do plan to stay again in my next Bangkok trip!

well it usually my go to hotel in bangkok. However the hotel was strangely inflexible on pricing and I found no alternative but to move out after staying for about 10 nights. i wanted to extend and had 3 colleagues paying a reasonable rate which the hotel wouldn't match. Kind of spoiled the whole effect and at a loss of 3 additional nights for the hotel when there was room ...

first of all, the best point of this hotel is the location! it's located just 3 min walk from BTS station and it's so near to city center area! nearby hotel has 3 major shopping, EmQuartier, EmPorium and EmSphere. The hotel even has its own 7-11 shop inside the hotel, and it's not a small 7-11. Staffs are friendly and very helpful, we purchased several frozen food and they willing to help us keep frozen for 3 days. Room service is also fast and tidy, and kudos to K.YHA for the lovely Elephant made out of bath towels!

Never thought I would experience this power of an earthquake before until I arrived to Bangkok, Thailand! I was released from the hospital only 2days when the earthquake struck, nevertheless their staff are really organized and taken care of every guest! Food is not an issue also and the hotel staff and facilities are all good. However there are little toiletries available and it will be helpful if we know what are available for request.

It is a wonderful stay at Mercure near to Prong Prong BTS. 7-11 is just next door to hotel. Wonderful area to walk around. However the only thing bothering is the water pressure and heaty with the shower. I turned the knob to the extreme left for hot water but still got none. I bet that is the only regret I would say. Anyway I have passed my feedback upon checked out.

I’ve stayed at the Ibis connected to this hotel many times & enjoyed it. I wanted to try the Mercure side and loved it as much. I’ve only stayed at the Mercure in Paris and this location has the same great staff, feel and experience. I highly recommend.

Hotel was comfortable, good-sized rooms in an excellent location with 2 streets of massage choices right outside the hotel. There seems to be a slight sewage smell on some days though and the sink is too wide - gave me a backache reaching to use the tap daily.

Avoid Mercur in Bangkok
The hotel to 3000 baht and I checked in as a deposit on room charges. Why checked out? They wanted the card again to charge me one more time instead of charging the transaction against the deposit on the room. I've never been to any other property that does that Hyatt Marriott etc. And of course the general manager wasn't around to discuss. I'll email the CEO of Mercur directly.
