Staff are lovely. Recommend requesting ground floor for accessibility or if travelling with children as there’s no elevator. Indoor pool/hot tub were great. Hotel is older but has free parking (small spaces/laneway but still fit our truck), washing machines/dryers (extra $), and well stocked full kitchen. Aircon in living room only and blackout curtains still let some light through (consider for baby naps, etc). Right on lake terrace and an easy 5min stroll into town. Would definitely stay here again, especially for Ironman.

Stayed 4 nights with family of 6 adult couples. The unit is advertised as 3 bedrooms. But the third bedroom is only suitable for a single bed. Good amenities and well presented throughout. Good lakefront location and handy to shops and eateries. Will recommend to travelers with large family.

Staff seemed nice. The room was tidy, but all the appliances seemed very dated, the aircon was old and dirty, microwave and dishwasher very old looking, as well as very old TVs, both bedrooms had a small tv which was nice, but only one remote between them.
No daily service which was a shame, for me it's part of going away coming back to a cleaned room.
Very little tea/coffee supplied, you can go to reception to get more, but Id perfer not to.

We absolutely loved this place. So much space for all the family. We stayed in a Deluxe 2 Bedrooms Apartment with 2 bathrooms (could sleep up to adults). The place was very clean. It had a well appointed kitchen, with just about any utensil you would need to cook for your family, kitchen also had a full sized fridge and dishwasher. A small partial view of the lake from the front bedroom and balcony. BBQ facilities available for guests to use. Laundry facilities - free washing machines to use. Need to pay for laundry powder and dryers. Indoor pool and games room was free to use for guests. Very close to main restaurants. The only negatives (which really wasn't) was dragging our heavy suitcases up the one flight of stairs and down again in the rain on departure. Also all the ouside security lights stayed on overnight which we understand was for guests safety, and limited parking space, on one of the days we parked across the road. Plenty of umbrellas to use while it was very rainy. We are looking forward to staying again. Thank you

For longer stays, daily servicing is important to keep rooms clean and tidy. If we were to stay again, I would make sure to request daily servicing regardless. However, due to the issues experienced during this stay, we may not choose to return.

This was a great place to stop for a couple of nights in Taupo. The proximity to the lake and town centre was fantastic - an easy and pleasant walk. The unit was very clean and comfortable. Appreciated the access to washing machines. The games room could do with some maintenance and upgrade of facilities (eg the ping pong table had no net, there was no chalk for the pool cues.) Nevertheless we had some fun games with our seven year old, and had an enjoyable stay.

We stayed as a group of five in a 2-Bedroom Deluxe Apartment for two nights during our recent trip to Taupō. While the location was convenient and the apartment had been recently renovated—especially the bathrooms—we were a bit disappointed by a few issues. The master bed was broken, several lights weren't working, and the shower door in the master bathroom didn’t close properly, which caused flooding even with a short shower.
That said, the maintenance staff were extremely friendly and responsive, doing their best to help us during our stay.

We booked 2 bedroom apartment for 5 people as we were advised there was a sofa bed, however the sofa bed was not long enough for even 5 foot person, so 3 of us ended up sleeping on a queen bed with our feet hanging. The only descent thing is the bathrooms are simple but clean while the sofa looks old and dirty and the chairs on the balcony are dirty (full of birds’ drops). In our last 8 nights in NZ this was the worse accomodation while others have similar price range.

This isn't our first time booking this place, as its location is perfect for a short trip in Taupo. However, we were a bit disappointed this time. It seems there was a mix-up with our room; we had booked a Superior Room but received a Deluxe Room instead, and some advertised features didn’t match what we found.
Additionally, the photos for the Superior Room were a bit misleading, as they suggested it would have a private bathroom, which wasn’t available during our stay. While we appreciate the charm of the property, it was a bit frustrating when our expectations didn’t quite align with the experience.
