Ricky
Great parking, quiet location.
Gael
Property is nice and handy. Would have loved to have a window to open. Staff were lovely.
Alexandra
I made a last minute booking for one night as the motel I'd originally booked didn't work for me. Given the price was lower than the motel, I was pleasantly surprised at what was on offer. If you are in the UK think Premier Inn with kitchenette with washer and dryer. Perfect!
Rebecca
While the accommodation was clean it was very tired with marks on the wall & stained ripped chairs that were too low for the table
Sarah
Clean and incredibly quiet.
Michael
Great parking and not far from the city centre. The only thing is you only get two towels and if you are a couple that’s not enough.
Clayt
Within walking distance to Town , Friendly Staff , Clean Room
Ian
3rd stay in a Quest serviced appartment. Not as good as previous. A bit tired and as clean and tidy as previous quest stays. A bit dissappointed.
Andy
Clean room
Karyn
Everything was very goog
Glen n Diane
Friendly staff. Great having a washing machine and dryer in room & electric car charger in the car park.
Michael
It was clean and tidy. Very overpriced for what it was though.
Wendy
Great staff, and good room
Jamie
We had booked a Executive King room. Due to no more of that room. We got a free room upgrade. Loved the location and the reception staff was amazing and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. My kids sure loved the pool
Susan
Great spot away from the noisy / busy part of Taupo but still very walkable. Room was compact but functional. Would have been nice to have opening windows or a deck area.
David
There was a strong stale water smell in the studio I had booked, coming from the bathroom, and management kindly upgraded me to a 1 bedroom unit, which was super clean, spacious and convenient with the kitchen. However, beware there is no external vent hence your kitchen odors will stay in the room (the vent only blows the air from the cooker to the ceiling). Other than that, hotel is well located, and more quiet than the downtown hotels. The washing machine and dryer were very useful after a few days of hiking.
John
Clean, comfy bed, excellent facilities, friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.
Sandra
Great room and everything I needed
Robert
Everything was great for what we needed bonus was we were travelling around New Zealand and there was a washing machine and dryer in are room great stay
Lindsey
Clean the kitchen area and cupboards for guests and offer a few amenities.
Andrea
I booked a king bed studio, but got a queen bed instead. Match the actual reservation with what a guest actually booked otherwise it is not reflective of the cost they paid. Other than that good location, friendly staff and the room was clean.
Aashma
Rooms were so dirty, carpet had stain all over. Washer dryer had thick layer of dust. You have to clean first before you put clothes in to wash. Than dryer doesn't dry clothes. We put an hour and finally took wet clothes with us in the car. Remote control for the TV was nasty dirty. Our sink didn't drained water, so my husband try to call manager and phone receiver was so nasty , he almost fainted seeing that and went to wash his hands. I would not recommend anyone to stay there. I would say drive 40 minutes and go stay in rotorua.
Erina
The room was amazingly so clean. Loved how roomy the space was and the kitchenette area made the stay so convenient.
Laurence
Friendly staff. Very well equipped
Nathan
Great self contained studio which was, modern, well appointed and within walking distance to town.
Betty
Dryer did not work. Instructions for switching on the power for washing machine was unclear, but receptionist was very nice and helpful. We arrived on a Saturday so no housekeeping for the 2 days we stayed. That was not clear in booking. Overall, we wouldn't stay there again.
Janet
Easy after hours checkin. Apartment clean and tidy. Basic but all you need. Shower pressure weak however.
Mostafa
Windows cannot be opened so the air quality is not great
Amir
Room was provided with ample facilities. Clean, warm and comfortable. The lake view from the room was beautiful.
Paul
Looks like a new property. So room is in excellent condition. A good location, walkable to the town and restaurants, as we did. Would stay again for sure. Thanks.

Facilities and service
Bruce
Too many short cuts
It’s ok. Replaced basic ammenities, creamer instead of milk, appliances need a polish, payment for room was taken before even getting to the property… when pay at property was selected… thought I was going to do the transaction..
Wenz
The drapes/ nets dishwasher cups couch and some bed linen were stained or dirty.
David
All was good from checking in to checking out
Andrew
It served its purpose for a weekend stay..
Pradeep
Ir was safe ans good stay
Brian
The property is visually dated. Although the hotel was not fully booked we were allocated wheelchair accessible room. Absolutely no vanity bench surface which meant the washing machine in the bathroom was the only surface space. The shower curtain was discoloured. There was coat hangers provided however no space below to hang items. There was fresh milk provided however it had been opened and was half full. The staff were friendly and the bed was comfortable however the duvet inner was badly stained.
R
in unit washer and dryer are very convenient
GRANT
I recently stayed at the hotel for four nights and unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations. The bed was very uncomfortable due to broken springs and desperately needs replacement. Additionally, housekeeping only serviced the room three out of the four days, which was inconvenient.
The front desk staff on Saturday and Sunday were unfriendly—on two separate occasions, they did not respond when I greeted them. Customer service is a crucial part of any hotel stay, and this lack of basic courtesy was disappointing.
Due to these issues, I would not choose to stay here again.

Great apartment hotel in Taupō
This is a fabulous place to stay in Taupō. It's close to the town centre, spacious and well equipped.
Geoff
No steps or handrail from car park down onto the pathway.
Brendyn
Nice place to stay, will go back again
Hamish
Sadly never come back
Have travelled workdwide and this place had the worst shower pressure ive ever experienced, i will never be back, most important part of business travel is s comfy bed(tick) and good shower to relieve the days aches and pains , terribke, coukd pee faster
Amy
Great service from reception, walking distance to town. Highly recommend
Pita
Awesome place to stay...close to shops but far enough away to enjoy the quite.
DARREN
Great place to stay
Selena
Guaranteed parking space would have been nice. Would have liked to be able to open windows even if they had the security locks on them, i prefer fresh air to air conditioner. Lounge chairs with ottoman very nice comfortable. Nice wide bed but would have loved to have a light blanket considering the current heat during our stay
Jacquelyn
Friendly staff, easy parking, apartment fully equipped, view of Lake Taupo, easy location, quiet.
Trent
Very clean and close to shops and Cafes are within walking distance.
Danna
This was an awful place to stay and I would not recommend
D E
Off site parking. Some of the parking is actually out on the road outside the property. This is where we had to park. We wouldn't have booked here if we had known this was a possibility. The invitation email says Quest Taupo has enough parking spaces, no booking is required. 2nd vehicle $15 per night. Limited on site parking should be made clearer.
Jatinder
Bad behaviour from reception lady
SAMUEL
Easy place to stay, clean and well maintained. Kids loved the pool
Merrin
Lovely comfortable one night stay
Mei Wai
Fantastic, just press the button to make a reservation.
Ann
As this property was only staffed for a very short period , it was difficult to obtain any information that might be needed.
Tasha
Really convenient, Clean tidy space with easy parking. Unfortunately noisy fridge, uncomfortable bed, the melted plug on the toaster meant toast wasn’t on the menu for breakfast and it was lacking a few housekeeping supplies. Reasonable value for money but would not be a first choice for a repeat stay.
Denham
Highly recommended
Great location and very convenient.
Sue
Lovely staff, great location!
Juana
Found the property quiet even though it was totally booked out. Very clean and tidy.
Teri
Your front desk person was excellent!!
Karl
No milk!
Richmond Falea
Close to town
Pita
Taupo is awesome.... big enough to keep you busy... small enough to navigate
Stuart
Nice place to stop and great location.
Michelle
I thought it was overpriced for what it is...
Megan
We have stayed a few times at Quest Taupo and it is always good. Very easy parking even in a large vehicle and clean tidy rooms. The bed was a little uncomfortable however that is personal preference. Good location, can walk into town or to the lake fairly easily and once it is warmer im sure the pool is nice too. Will stay again as great value for money
Giyora
I was there for a weekend. Spacious room. Plenty of parking. Nice and easy to fibd

Comfortable Quest
Comfortable room for overnight stay. We were put in wheelchair access room which is not our preference but the room was tidy & bed was comfortable.
Zaid
Will certainly stay again
Close to town centre, easy parking, clean, safe, and quite.
Wayne
I enjoy staying at this motel. Love the laundry facilities etc
lily
Very nice apartment. Good views and warm. It will be perfect if there is a lift in case guests have large luggages.

You get what you pay for, was cheap but windows do not open. We had to swap 1 of 2 rooms booked as it smelt so strong of chemicals your eyes watered. Smelt like trying to cover something up. Rooms filthy chairs stained, walls scuffed, in general other than washing sheets management here is very poor. Recommended anywhere else.
Chris
Clean, comfortable and close to the CBD.

It was a very small bedroom and bathroom compared to other Quest rooms I have stayed in. There was an open drain in the bathroom

The beds are super comfy and it’s really quiet

Liked the self-contained concept. ie; Washing machine / Dryer / Dishwasher / Cooker. Ideal for a few days stay, or when you are on the road and staying over.

Very good location being no more than 10 minutes walk from Taupo town centre and the lakefront. Nice modern building and being on lakeside 2nd story we had great views of Lake Taupo and the Mountains. Very quiet rooms with virtually no noise from other rooms/guests or road. (Quest was fully booked and we heard virtually nothing from around our room)
Facilities for cooking, dishwasher, fridge, washing machine and dryer all great.
Only negatives....pillows were awful (we went & bought a couple after first night) and the condensation on the inside of the rooms windows was not good. (Management needs to sort this before it becomes a major issue)
Would recommend Quest Taupo & plan on being return guests.

Terrible check in procedure. Over priced for the lack of service/staff. No reception staff from 4pm. Do not recommended booking through Expedia last minute.
Lila

Would love to stay longer but too much to see…
We are visiting from Australia for a 3 week road trip and booking accommodation as we go night by night.
Lovely clean and fresh room with lake view. Comfortable beds, nice linen. Washing machine and dryer was a bonus. Easy checkin. Only one night but a very pleasant stay.

We were doing some of the cycle paths around Taupo. The Quest was a good place to stay. Friendly staff, easy to walk into Taupo for dinner. Will stay there again
