We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff members made the experience wonderful. The room was clean and the breakfast selection offered a food range of continental food. I can not commend the staff highly enough, especially the waiters/watresses who worked tirelessly this morning!

It is a little further than expected from the centre of Paris (roughly 20 minutes (€11 - €15 to and from the centre) ).

Wet rude staff, plus we arrived early just to store our luggage one of our rooms were ready so they gave us the room and locked us out the next day! Told us we already stayed 2 nights. Plus they made us paid $200. Euro in taxes. DO NOT STAY here no matter how cheap it is. Rooms were old and dirty.

Only fault was for room service when it came to getting towels and bedding. We had to go down to the front they would not bring it to us during the day. Also, no vending machines or room service to get drinks for my kids. They told us to Uber drinks, which is crazy.

Anytime I needed to request anything: shower cap, extra blanket or assistance I was told that they couldn't help me pr my family. Would not recommend this hotel due to the terrible service provided and I always stay at Novotel whenever I get a chance when travelling anywhere.

I recently stayed at the Novotel Paris and had a great experience. The hotel's location is fantastic. The staff were friendly, welcoming and went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable.

The room was spacious, modern and clean, with all the amenities we needed. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which had a wide variety of options to suit all tastes.

The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the our room toilet didnt had exhaust. However, overall we were really happy with our stay and would definitely recommend the Novotel Paris to others.

We had a great stay at Novotel. The room was perfect, it was clean et confortable. However, the service from the staff was deceiving. As we check-in I ask info about the parking and I advise I was gonna let the car there for 3 days. The women did not tell me that I would have to pay in the hotel and have a special ticket... So when the time came and I had to exit the parking, the bill was 350$!!! So I had to let the car there, get back in the hotel and ask question. We got to the airport late because of that. It was very long waiting in the hotel to have service and resolve this problem.

Also, second day there I ask if there was restaurant near the hotel. The women just told me that she didn't know... Well not very helpful..

Simply disappointed. The staff refused to amendment my dates even after i said that i was happy to pay the difference in the prices between those dates. I was also to pay the fee as long as i amended the dates. They refused to amend the dates and refund the money. I will never book it again. Very disappointed.

We were at the hotel for 4 nights and booked two rooms. We had a very bad experience through out. 1) The rooms were so hot that we could bot sleep, and we could not adjust the room temperature, as it was centrally controlled. Rather than airconditioning, they had the heating switched on. Even after complaining every single night nothing was done. 2) The carpets were torn and bathroom were very dirty with mould. 3) The wifi was not working for two days.
I have stayed in Novotels around the world and it has always been good, but this time it was a terrible experience.

Staff were friendly and helpful especially with transport for various locations was needed.
Only down side was milk and tea bags for the room - they weren't provided but local shop (also friendly) had all we needed.
Our room (502) had a great view of the Eiffel Tower which was spectacular at night when it lit up.

We had a nice stay at the hotel, but the cleaning lady threw a paper bag where we had some detax papers bought from Galleries LaFayette and some other stuff. It was placed next to the trash bin, but this doesn’t mean it was trash. Just train your staff a bit better. If it’s not in the garbage bin, don’t treat it as garbage. Wait for the client to throw it first.

Fab hotel, and the service was excellent! The breakfast was plentiful and very nice, which when sightseeing really sets you up for the day. Anyone complaining about the breakfast in their reviews are clearly looking for a full English as in England… yet forgetting they’re in Paris! So yes it will be different, but it was super none the less!
The rooms are immaculate, spacious, housekeeping daily, and the staff very very friendly.
The only thing for me was the room temperature, it does tell you in the room what it is set to at what time of year, but at 19°c in February for me personally it was too warm, with a family of 4 and the heat from the bodies, I struggled a little to sleep as I like a cool room. But I didn’t ask them if this could be changed as we were only there for a long weekend, so that’s on me, not the hotel. Location isn’t very central, but everywhere is so easy and accessible from there. Highly recommend and will be coming again! Bon travail et merci beacoup!

The room overall wasn’t too bad however it gets really hot at night even with the ac on. The single beds have poor structure.
There is no ventilation that is required for a room.
We were a family of 4 and they only provided 1 500ml water bottle and if we asked them they said there is an additional charge. .
This hotel doesn’t have great choices of breakfast if you are a vegetarian or vegan especially their menu for lunch and dinner, therefore we spent extra on outside.
The variety of breakfast is very limit.
Room service is up normal standards.
The tax online said £21 however when getting to the hotel they charged us €65 without an explanation.

My family of four recently spent 5 nights at Novotel Paris 17. Here's a concise summary of our experience:

Cons:
1. The family room we were assigned was surprisingly small, making it a tight fit for our luggage.

2. The air conditioning in our room was subpar, and despite raising a complaint, no action was taken to improve it.

3. During the first two days of our stay, I encountered some difficulties when requesting a beer mug and ice from the hotel staff. However, on the third day, my request for a beer mug was flatly denied, and the bartender offered me a paper cup instead. I approached the front desk (staff member who used to be there in night shift) and he informed me that it was hotel policy to withhold beer mugs unless the beer was purchased from the hotel.
This appeared to be an unusual policy and was a first for me.

4. The separate toilet and bathroom arrangement lacked a washbasin in the toilet, which felt somewhat inconvenient.

Pros:
1. The hotel is located in a safe area, with a bus stop right opposite.

2. Justin at the reception went above and beyond to accommodate our request for a late check-out.

3. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job, ensuring our room was clean and comfortable throughout our stay.

4. Nearby Convenience Store: A convenience store just a 5-minute walk away, open until midnight, making it easy to stock up on essentials.

Our second time stay with this hotel really bad and uncomfortable. Front desk staff always not there to assist customer and you can inform them what is the problem with the room but no action taken during 2 night stay there , same like you talking to the wall. We book 2 room and on both room the temperature same like outside , when i inform the front desk them told its normal here and they cant do anything. We will never ever stay in this hotel again and not recommending anyone to stay during summer.

I used to be a Novotel user until now. Recently, I did stay 8 days at Novotel Paris 17 with a very disappointing comments to share. First, the A/C did not work (after couple days complaining about that, I got a new room were the A/C worked slightly better), for couple days my room was not cleaned, breakfast was poor, and hair dryer did not work, at all. It is important to highlight that I did share these issues with the staff, however, they were indifferent about it. I wouldn’t recommend to stay at this place to anyone.

I do not know if all double rooms are the same, but one of the main thing were the two independent single beds for the kids, different from other hotels that offer a sofa bed or a smaller double bed. It is not so close from the tube station, but it is walking distance. Restaurants about 10 minutes walking.

The breakfast service staff was downright rude- treating us with hostility like we were a nuisance. They were commandeering us (and other people) to specific tables even though there were plenty of open seating. Asking for reseating was answered with a curt “NO!” After 2 days - we’ve had enough abuse and had to involve the manager (Mr. Fouchet) for help.

There were lots of missing items at breakfast. We had to ask for everything - a paper cup, a lid, a stir, all hidden from patrons for some reason. Overall, they did not treat us like customers but rather as intruders. The front desk was better - they were responsive and spoke English, but really far from friendly. Overall the experience was not pleasant - Novotel made us feel as if they gave us a “rare privilege” to stay at their property….I have seen much better Novotels. I would not stay at this hotel again due to the austere and hostile attitudes.
