A great little hotel, very close to the RER and metro. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms are small - , and I’m not sure brown is a great colour to decorate a room with little natural light ! Very clean ( although the shower in our room had some mildew staining ) ,and the beds are very comfortable. This hotel works very well for a short trip, and is in a safe area with grocery stores only a five minute walk away. Filtered water provided,A great Italian restaurant a few doors down. We would definitely stay here again .

The hotel is within walking distance of arc de triomphe. The area is decent and convenient. The room size was ok for Paris. Cleaning could definitely improve overall. Be it in the room or when serving breakfast. Breakfast wasn’t good. They offer free filtered water which is nice. Reception staff were very helpful.

Perfect stay for quick trip to Paris!

Beautiful building, boutique style perfect for Paris! Very sweet staff, but often there is only one person working both refreshment bar and check in. The key card kept unpairing which was a bit inconvenient but did not harm us! Really comfy mattresses and good shower pressure! Not in the most touristy neighborhood, but rather a residential one.

The staff are awesome and super friendly.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly lovely, and the rooms were tidy and well-cleaned, although there was a bit of dust on the bedside table. The location is convenient with easy access to train stations. The only downside is the small elevator. Despite that, it's a charming hotel, and I would definitely stay here again!

Charming Stay

This boutique hotel is small and charming. We found the staff to be helpful, kind and responsive to any needs. There is coffee in room as well as downstairs. We did not dine for breakfast as we were often on the go but looked to be well liked base on the volume of patrons seen. We’re always appreciative for a smiling face and a helpful hand. I highly recommend a stay for the easy location being outside of the city but still close to all the things!

The front staff was nice enough.
Paid $350 for 1 night.
The room was the size of my closet at home. Totally cramped. If you ha e to use the elevator to go to your room...beware. You better not be claustraphobic. Smallest elevator I have ever been in. Even the elevators in Japan are bigger.
If you are tall, you will not be able to sit on the toilet. The sink leg comes half way across the front of the loo and you cant find a comfortable position to sit in.
The Vietnamese Barrista will make a coffee you for 4€, which is a rip off.
Breakfast for 15€ is also a rip
Would never stay here again.

This place is absolutely gorgeous. Immediately you are met with friendly staff who can speak multiple languages, which is so reassuring for those who don’t speak French confidently. They were beyond helpful and really put us at ease during our stay. The room itself was delightful. Very clean and tidy, with an amazing view outside to add. It was a very good location with great access to metro services. Overall, I would love to stay here again.

If I could give a minus figure for a review I would. Our room didn't have working electrical outlets/plugs. We woke up after first night and our cell phones were dead because the outlets weren't working to charge our cell phones. The outlet in the bathroom wasn't working so my wife couldn't use the blow dryer for her hair. We complained on our way out to a scheduled and prepaid guided tour to the Louvre and I received numerous calls from them while we were at the Louvre telling me that the room outlets couldn't be fixed and if we wanted to be put into a new room (only 1 was available), we would have to return to the hotel as soon as possible because the maid would need to clean our room (Why I don't know because I guess they would rent the room to someone else knowing the outlets weren't working). So, on our first day in Paris, we left the city center and flagged down a taxi to take us back. The room they offered was even smaller with a view of the side of the building behind it and the bathroom was so small and at such a bad angle, I could barely get to the toilet or shower. We declined that room and were told they couldn't fix the outlets so I had to call Expedia back and ask them to move us to a different hotel. I can't believe we had to actually pay for that hotel, it should have been free! No working outlets and we had to pay for the taxi back there, then another taxi to the second hotel. We only had three days in Paris and this horrible situation took 4 hours out of it!

The staff was great, but there were issues with general maintenance of the property . The rooms phone & fridge didn't work and lock on the door had to be slammed to closed .They were not addressed during the stay. But the hotels location was in a great neighbor and bathroom though small was perfectly appointed .

The hotel is designed beautifully and the staff was super nice and helpful!

However, our room was on the ground floor and the breakfast area was literally just outside our door. Every morning we woke up by the noise of people eating and chatting. It's not OK to place a room so close to this kind of noise, let alone a superior room, which we actually paid extra for.

In addition, the shower door was not perfectly insulating and every shower ended up with a flooded bathroom.

Very last minute trip to Paris. This hotel was the prize. Brand hotel with a wonderful, local personality. Near Metro station, perfect neighborhood food and drink options. Exceptional, friendly and helpful staff (with a smile). The room (Superior) was exceptionally large by European standards with a full sized en suite bathroom and a beautiful view. Offers a buffet breakfast (that looked delicious- though we didn’t have time to partake). Nice extra: Ordered a taxi to the door for early morning flight out. (Con: if any, tiny elevator). Can’t recommend enough.

Beautiful hotel in nice quiet area

The hotel is a lovely little boutique type place, not too far away from the restaurants, shops etc. The room was beautiful with a lovely view and the area was quiet, especially at night, didn’t get disturbed by others guests which made a nice change as I’m a light sleeper. The lift is absolutely tiny but it was fine for transporting luggage up to our room. The staff were pleasant. Would definitely stay there again. Only negative was there was no iron in the room

It was my 3rd times of staying here Neuville and every time It is pleasure.
especially the hotel staffs are very kind. Genuinely kind.. Not fake one.
I was not so happy with cleaning service though.
specially for the bathroom.
But otherwise very pleasure.
The room is small as usual in Paris but the room is very clean and new and there is no odor.
I will definitely stay here again next time!

It’s Very small and old. The elevator only hold one person and it’s old and made me feel unsafe so I had to take the stairs.

There was a plumbing issue or something because my carpet was soaked for no reason at all which in turn gave my room a bad odor and my bags got damaged. The manager was never available and my concerns were never met

Our hotel stay was fine. I already mentioned in a previous review that we were unable to check in at our designated time (had to wait over an hour), but it was responded to promptly which I appreciated. Overall the hotel is fine. The room was pretty small but it was decorated nicely, and considering the room size the bathroom was a decent size too. The room service was so-so. The gentlemen working the front desk upon check in blamed them for us not being able to check in on time which seemed kind of unprofessional. His exact words, \"I told her to clean it this morning but she didn't. So when you arrived I called her to clean it\". It was kind of awkward, so we waited in the dining area for about an hour after 14 hours of flying.

I would like to compliment Francis who worked the reception area in the evening. My travel partner lost her phone in an uber and he helped us contact our uber driver and speak to him in order to retrieve her phone. We are very appreciative of that.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Every single one of them - from the reception, through the cleaning lady to the staff at the bar were very professional and polite. The hotel is located in a quiet area which was good for a person like me not really looking for fun. Great friendly staff, but the room was full of thick dust layer everywhere and it didn't seem cleaned at least for a couple of weeks including the desk and the small bed side table. Didn't know as it was dark at night when I checked in, but in the next morning, I was shocked. The other downside was someone else's hair on the bed. Generally not bad except for these.

This was a nice well kept hotel. The front desk staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. They were able to give us directions on how to get to various places such as shopping, the nearest grocery store and how to get to places using the metro. The room was great! It had a kettle and a good sized bathroom and a spacious shower. The room was a very good size by European standards. Enough space for 2 people and our suitcases and still be able to maneuver around the beds with ease. The only downside is it’s a little further from all the iconic sightseeing spots but I would gladly walk further or take the metro for being comfortable and able to feel relaxed in my hotel room. We booked this hotel last minute and weren’t sure what to expect, but it was quite pleasant. Great area for restaurants and very close to a metro stop. The staff is the most friendly and helpful we encountered after staying in multiple places throughout a month long trip. The standard rooms were pretty small, and because we booked late there were no other rooms available, but totally livable for the 5 nights we were there. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We went for my wife’s birthday the hotel was in a lovely quiet location but within s 5 mins walk to shops bars and restaurants and the metro and buses . only 15/20 mins walk to the sites . The staff were really friendly and very helpful and booked us. Set price taxi to get back to the airport as we had been over charged coming from the airport . We are definitely going to return .

2nd Time Was Still Great

We had stayed here before and loved the location and easy access to the Metro. The hotel has been renovated since our last stay and looks very nice. The rooms are a little small which is what you will get in Europe most of the time. The beds were very comfortable. This hotel has the smallest elevator / lift that we have every used. You can get 3 people in it or 2 people with some luggage. There are also plenty of options for eating in the area as well.

The Hotel was in a great location. It was located near a clean neighborhood and within walking distance of restaurants and bakeries. You can walk two miles to see the Eiffel Tower and the Arch de Trompe. The Hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. The negatives: The elevator is extremely small inside, one to maybe two people at a time can fit inside. Keep in mind these are two average size people not really big in size. The air conditioner in our room did not cool off very well. At times we had to open up the window to cool off. No ceiling fan in the room to help cool the room down. The buffet breakfast was not worth $20.00 a day. It was the same food items everyday. They have a few tables to sit and eat so we had to wait for a table. I would not recommend to pay $ 20.00 to eat the breakfast buffet. They have a small ice machine in the main lobby but they never had any ice . The positives are the location of the Hotel and the staff are helpful. For my next visit to Paris I will be staying at a different Hotel.

This was further from the Arc than we thought. The metro strike during our stay made transportation a challenge. The photos of rooms on the website are not of this property. It’s across from a modern recreation center and train tracks - not what’s depicted in the photos. We booked a king room with a balcony and received a double with no balcony. Overall, it did not have the romantic vibe we were going for on this trip. No one tried to make our reservation right. The breakfast looked poor - certainly not worth 15 Euro per person.

The hotel is pretty good in general. Location is pretty good, 5 minutes walk from subway, a little far from the major attractions but still easy to reach by subway. Only downside we found is the room is pretty small compared to most of other hotels we have stayed at in the city. But overall it is pretty good value.

They gave us a double bed configuration instead of a twin bed configuration and could not fix it until our second day due to the railway strike but other than fixing it the next day they never made up for the mistake. However the room is clean and feels quite new, we had a great view and the bathroom was cleverly designed and modern with a rain shower head. The lift is very very small and can only fit one person with one suitcase. Reception was always somebody different every day but I was always greeted with a friendly smile and they were very helpful when we had questions. Local neighbourhood is quiet but it is very near the Arc de Triomphe which is about 1.8km away, and about 7-minute walk to the nearest Metro station. I would stay here again.
