Lovely man on reception. Helped us with directions & the best way to do things whilst in Paris. Like using the Metro underground.
Rooms are quite small but perfect for what we needed as we didn't want to spend too long in there with such a great city awaiting us.
The location is great for the Metro. Its only a 4 min walk & a day pass for an adult is currently around £12 for unlimited use. Just a short 10 min walk to the Arc de Triomphe.
Breakfast is continental & unlimited. Great coffee/tea & fruit juices.

Took my niece and grand nephew for a 4 day visit mainly to see the Eiffel-Tower and Paris St Germain football grounds but we were able to visit Arc de Triomphe and Louvre all within easy commute from the hotel by metro and bus. We used taxi once which was only about €13.
Hotela friendly, warm reception. Easy check in. We arrived before check in but were able to leave our bags safely and go site-seeing.
Bedroom had ample space for 3 of us and 3 single beds we requested! :)
There were enough electric points next to beds to charge phones and tablets. Beds were very comfortable, we all slept well and room was warm and cosy. Lots of tea and coffee including Peppermint tea - thank you!
Great shower, bathroom was small but cubicle was large with 2 types of shower heads both great.
The hotel was very clean and quiet. Excellent location, short 5/10 minute walk to bus stop or metro...10 minutes from Arc de Triomphe!😀
Lots of cafes and restaurants near by, lovely atmosphere, we felt safe as 2 women walking around at 9pm with a child, people were friendly, helpful and kind.
We found a local catholic church, St Joseph, saying the mass in English so joined in the evening Mass.
The usual souvenir shops as well as the high end Champs-Élysées within 5/10 minute walk. What a gem!

The only minor problem was no hooks in the bathroom to hang up towels or clothes and the curtains seemed a bit small for the windows and didn't fully close.

Worth the slighly higher price, we plan to return.

Overal a very pleasant stay. The room was great for our family of 4 and location was excellent, walkable to lots of places. It was clean and comfortable and was cleaned and tidied every day. Staff were nice and friendly. Breakfast was good, continental style with enough options. My only negative point was that there was no thermostat on one of the radiators in the downstairs section, so it just constantly blasting out making the room overly warm. The desk staff were unable to fix and nothing was done in the 3 nights we stayed despite asking for it to be replaced.

We spent a week in Paris at this hotel. It was wonderful. Family run. Daily housekeeping. Clean. Very helpful. Desk is manned 24/7. Located in a neighborhood with good access to stores, traditional market, bakeries and restaurants. We would definitely stay there again!

Firstly when my husband and I entered the place the lady front desk wasn't willing to speak English with us. When I said \"Hello, we have a reservation\" she couldn't find my name and ask for Id which I provided to her. When she saw my passport she pronounce my name incorrectly and I corrected her and she made a fun on my name and she said \" Ha ha ha its cute\". I got offended by her behavior. She wasn't professional at all. She made me so upset that almost ruined my entire day. Then when I walked in to the room. Room was super small that you can barely move.

The room was recently renovated with an all new bathroom and new bed. Our room was the twin number 06 and was bigger than some of the rooms. It wasn’t that big so I recommend you get the larger size. The breakfast was lovely. The staff were very helpful and overall this is a nice family-run hotel (not a chain). One of the best aspects is the neighborhood. Lots of eating options and a nice Parisian atmosphere.

Room was not suitable for woman traveling. The door was a sounding door with a lock in it. Not a true door. The steps to second floor are steep for older woman. The bunk bed is also so close to the ceiling. Carpet was not clean at all. I ended checking out with my grandma and great aunts and getting another hotel.

The room would be greatly improved if it had a smart tv then guests could sign into to their own subscriptions (Netflix for example). Building site directly opposite which to our surprise didnt bother us, the work ends early and starts after waking hours. Free buffet breakfast was a nice touch which for me would be improved if toast was on offer. Lovely cheeses, cold meats & croissants :)

Wouldn’t stay there again

recently stayed at Hôtel Des Deux Avenues and, unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The room cleanliness was far below expectations — it didn’t feel properly cleaned, and there were no basic amenities provided. There wasn’t even a toothbrush or any kind of daily room kit available.

The air conditioning only worked in warm mode, which made the room very uncomfortable, especially considering the weather was already hot. The lift was constantly busy, causing delays every time I needed to go up or down.

In terms of location, it’s not ideal for first-time visitors who want to explore Paris. The hotel is a bit far from most of the main attractions, so it’s not the best base for sightseeing.

However, one positive thing I can mention is that the area around the hotel has some really nice shops and local stores. If you enjoy shopping or exploring neighborhood boutiques, you might find that part quite pleasant.

Overall, though, the stay didn’t meet expectations. The management should seriously improve room cleanliness, provide essential amenities, and ensure the facilities (like AC and lift) work properly.

Do yourself a favor and won’t book this hotel.
There is huge construction site right in front of the hotel, the noise goes from 6:30 am to 8:00pm from Monday to Saturday.
When I brought it up to the concierge ( front desk lady) named Omy , she told me “ I am here all day hearing this noise do you see me complaining “ after that I had no words .
I was able to pay 190 euros extra to change my room ( in the back of the building) the noise was still pretty loud.

Pros; modern rooms, cleaning crew are really nice.


Cons; extremely small rooms, even for European standers, noisy, terrible front desk staff , especially Omy .

This is a little hotel that satisfies the needs of any traveler. The rooms were typically small as it is Paris but it was nice and suited our needs. Bathroom good room and full bath with shower. We had the twin bed room. The only issue is the TV only had like 5 Chanel’s and we could not connect the internet to it or cast our phone to watch. The property was located son a great street with lots of little cafe/fromagerie and food stores so convenient. About 5 minutes to metro lines and 10 mins walk from Arc de Triomphe. Although our room was not ready when we arrived we ate at a wonderful little place at the corner and it was delicious! I would recommend staying here.

My friend and I found this hotel in a bit of an emergency situation, and I can't say how lucky we felt to stay here for 3 nights. The staff is so welcoming (day & night staff) and the rooms are updated. The building itself is right next to a construction zone currently (august 2025), but the noise didn't bother us at all. We felt safe at all times!

Great hotel in a quieter area of Paris that is still really easy to walk or train to most major sites. We stayed with our two kids in a bunk and it worked well. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Lots of food options nearby - lots of grocery options too for snacks. Air conditioning was amazing during hot August days.

We loved this hotel. The staff was kind and helpful. It was a cute place, we had a little outside terasse. It wasn't noisy and we were 7 minutes from the Arc de Truimp. We were 4 minutes walk to a metro station and the area was safe.I would recommend this hotel to everyone. We stayed in room 113 and it was a 2 story room. The kids had bunk beds and we had our own prive room on the second floor.

I absolutely adored my stay at Hotel des Deux Avenues. I was a bit surprised to find there were no amenities, like shampoo, in the bathroom, but it didn't matter. I popped over the nearby market & got some easily. The lack of shampoo is the only thing I could think to complain about and it wasn't even an issue for me. In every other way, this was the perfect spot for my children and I while in Paris. It's a quick walk to the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysees. I felt completely safe. The room (we had a two-level duplex apartment) was perfect & allowed some space between me and the kids at night. The kids enjoyed the bunkbeds. The staff was genuinely helpful and kind - delightful, actually. Transportation was a breeze. I love Rue de Poncelet - just a fantastic location. No complaints at all. I would absolutely stay here again.

Clean, Comfortable and Central.

We arrived quite late but on arrival, we were guided to the lift to our room. The room was clean, though very tight but it was okay for our short stay.
There were three annoying things that took away from it being excellent and as follows:

On arrival, we had a kettle and tea in our room and made ourselves a warm beverage hence leaving two used cups. When the room was made, the next day, the dirty cups were not cleaned and left as used. When we came back late following an outing, I had to take the cups back to reception to exchange for clean ones.

The lift was faulty the next day following our arrival and had to walk up and down from the 4th floor which was not great, however by the time we returned in the evening, the lift was fixed.

Thirdly, the TV was set in French, though there was an option to change to English, but it didn’t work. Having reported this with assurance given to check and give us the English option, it didn’t happen throughout our stay which was a shame!

Not much of a variety with the breakfast.

This hotel combines the warm welcome of a smaller Paris hotel with comforts one might expect from a larger hotel (such as elevator and air conditioning). The hotel has been recently renovated and the decor is great. The staff is super-friendly and helpful. Convenient to a number of metro/RER lines, great eating and shopping. A great base for our visit to Paris!

Hotel is in a great area; beautiful street with many dining options, grocery stores, fresh produce market, bakeries etc. Walkable to most main attractions. We actually walked everywhere but Versailles. Breakfast was nice. Room is a bit small but not unusual for Europe. I'd definitely recommend this place.

This property is in a very safe and quiet neighborhood with great dining options within easy walking distance to the Arc de triomphe and the champs elysees. The morning breakfast was excellent and it is near an excellent bakery named Liberte. The Ternes metro is really close by. Great place for 7 days in Paris!

Very friendly staff, especially Ommy (sorry if misspelled her name) - the front desk concierge during mornings and afternoons. She has been trying her best to be accommodating when she could. And she has been very sincere and friendly!
Rooms looked like very recently went through a major renovation - looked very refreshed! Bathrooms had drying (heating) racks. Size of my room was pretty small, but enough for one person. My other part of the family was in bigger room.

This hotel is very clean and has elevator. The room is clean and small which reminds me in Japan. My room got cleaned every single day when I stayed there. Staffs were helpful and courteous. The only disadvantage is the distance to the Metro station. It took me 13-15 minutes walk to the Metro. It might not be a big deal for younger and stronger people, but for me I am kind of weak and I need to save my strength for the daily exploration to many attractions. I would rather choose a hotel within 5 -8 minutes walk to the transportation. Remember when you enter the metro station there might not be elevators inside and you have to walk up and down many stairs. Overall it is good hotel with reasonable price and there are Mac Donald and Burger King near Metro station where I always got my breakfast and cofffee before I headed out.
