Communication, service, no wifi for over a day. Staff demanded the key to be left at desk (day 4?!) unknown to us. Breakfast (free as a sorry) was fine. Would I stay here again… 2 nights most expensive room and then 2 and a lesser room. Nope. Staff had crap communication. Eg. Asked for cork screw (fine when we had $$$$ room, not ok when we had $ room…).

Came back again 6 years later… still amazing!

I stayed here 6 years ago the last time I was in Paris, so we had to stay again! It’s the perfect location close to both metro and bus stops. The rooms are clean and staff is extremely friendly. We had 2 separate rooms both with different layouts. One was very well lit and the other was more spacious however the light was only via the bedside table lamps. So it was quite dark throughout the evening.

My only complaint is that you have to return the key each time you leave the property and request for your key to access your room when you return. It worked out ok, but it wasn’t ideal if your group split up and needed to enter at seperate times as there’s only one key distributed per room. It also isn’t ideal if the front desk is ever on a break or is away from their post, or even if they are busy handling another guest.

This was our second stay at HB. They recently renovated tastefully and have preserved the old world charm. The bed was very comfortable and the new windows help block out the sound of the city overnight.
The breakfast was delicious.
There is a transport centre 5 min walk away, several small supermarkets and many cafes.
The only improvements I can think of is to add a few english language channels to the TV. e.g. BBC, CNN.
Also add USB outlets for phone charging near the bedside tables for phone charging (seems standard in many hotels now)

My friend and I came here in June and had an amazing time! The staff were kind and accommodating, the room was excellent, the beds were so incredibly comfortable and warm, and the view from our room was lovely. I loved the breakfast and the snacks they provided! The location was also perfect as well - a short walk to the Arc de Triomphe, and a really close bus stop and metro station will allow you to get basically anywhere. The shops nearby the hotel are great too, and we would highly recommend exploring the area nearby. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and the high quality of everything - the room, bathroom, and cleanliness - made our stay 5 stars.

The hotel is nice. The room was good. We only spent one night but we could hear someone above us walking very loudly. One of the men at the front desk gave us a list of restaurants as “suggestions” when we asked. The list wasn’t updated (1 of them was closed) and another was too crowded & loud. They should ask what kind of vibe guests are looking for. Usually on vacation one is looking to relax and be pampered so there should be recommendations for elegant restaurants too. We looked around on our own & were lucky to get the last table at a lovely restaurant nearby.

Wonderful staff, very warm helpful, delicious breakfast if you needed help the staff was there to help you at a moment's notice beautiful clean rooms very nice spacious bathroom just a wonderful place to stay highly recommended, wonderful location beautiful neighborhood. We will stay here again and again. Location is ideal it's close enough to the main attractions of Paris but it is still in a part of town that feels very French and not touristy.

The shower didnt work, the dryer outlet was loose, scuff marks all over. Lobby sofa filthy, carpet filthy.
The am manager was good the night time lady attendant, lazy, horrible posture. Breakfast fo euro 20 pp was hit and a miss, mostly miss. The sttendant was good, but was serving rancid eggs

This is my second stay at the hotel and it was fantastic again! I booked for my Mum's 60th Birthday trip and the hotel was the perfect choice. We had an amazing room overlooking the Eiffel Tower - it was so special to wake up to this every day and watch it sparkle at night. The room is light and has everything you need, the hotel is immaculate and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It's a 2 minute walk from the Metro so super easy to make your way around Paris. I honestly couldn't recommend this hotel enough and will definitely be booking when I next return to Paris!

I would recommend and definitely stay again. Close links to transport, landmark areas and felt overall safe in the hotels location. I loved our stay at Hotel De Banville! The staff were all so lovely, very welcoming and made you feel at home and did everything they could to ensure a great stay!

The room was clean and comfortable with a great view of the Eiffel Tower. A large bed too!

The location of the hotel was also perfect. Seemed to be located in a very safe area, lots of dining options walkable distance and very close to the Metro into the centre!

I loved the hotel, and would definitely return on the next trip to Paris!

The property is in a nice quiet neighbourhood. It is within walking distance to all major attractions but it's also close to a metro if you prefer to take that.
It's a smaller boutique hotel and the decor is beautiful. The room had great amenities however I was travelling with my sister and the bathtub shower was open to the room so we had no privacy. If I had known that I would have requested a room with a separate bathroom.
It was also a bit loud, we could hear the guests in the room next to us talking.
The customer service was excellent and they offer a beautiful breakfast.

The hotel is nice and clean, however tjr closest subway station is currently under construction and is very messy with himelese lying around the site. And there are some detour around the construction as well. We arrived at 10pm and it was dark and coming out from that sight wasnt impressve. But then as soin u we found the street of the hotle, we feel goid as it is a quiet residential area and the hotel s decor is very classy and modern. I would come back for stay but hoping by then they have completed the subway station 's construction

Hotel is great. About a mile walk to Arc de Triuph and all site seeing connections. Said there was Robes and slippers but never saw them. Breakfast was good but for the extra $20+ per person you may want to check other options. Remember it is europe and rooms and bathrooms are not as spacious as US hotels.

There is always a smell in the elevator and loby , thank God not in the rooms but it still bothers me . Alot of noises in the hotel ( the staff cleaning other rooms etccc ) . Room was spotlessly clean which was great, however it was sized for children, not 2 adults ! ie TINY.
for over €120 a night (and NO breakfast) it was overpriced. 1st hotel i have visited that offers NO soap ! When i asked for it at night, i was told by reception , that he was alone and couldn't bring any up. 1 x free 50cl bottle of water for 2 adults over 3 nights seems super stingy. Considering we were put on 8th floor and lift only goes to 7th floor, we SHOULD have been told of this, especially as i have a bad ankle. Naturally there was no one to help carry case up or down the stairs. It was quite a walk from local metro, with cases and so not only very expensive, but not well located for most attractions. Redeeming feature as SUPER clean, but i wouldn't want to go back to mini dolls-house size bedroom for 2 persons. Apparently just been acquired by a group, so maybe in future new standards may be applied ?

If you're looking for an authentic Paris hotel, this would be perfect for you. The front desk staff was very helpful with taxis and metro information. The location is great with a metro station only two minutes away by foot. Our view was beautiful with a small sighting of the Eiffel Tower! We would definitely stay here again if we came back to Paris.

We could not get enough of this lovely hotel.

Arrived to a friendly and helpful smile. Was told we had been upgraded and that there was an extra gift for us enclosed in our paperwork. We had let the hotel know we would be visiting Paris on our wedding anniversary and they did not disappoint. We had been upgraded to a balcony room with a view of the Eiffel Tower and a complimentary glass of champagne to celebrate our anniversary. Our room was marvellous. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud and we could not get enough of the friendly staff whether it was the night staff at midnight offering coffee or the breakfast staff who could not do enough to be sure you had a pleasant meal. It really made our celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary special. Local transport all around but we often voted to take the lovely walk through Paris to get where we wanted to go as the weather was definitely on our side. A great location in a quiet neighbourhood.

Charming boutique hotel.Staff were like family!

It is a charming hotel .We felt like we were staying with family ,all the staff were warm and friendly.
There is a beautiful baby grand piano in the middle of the dining room and we were fortunate to hear a pianist playing.
There were always beautiful flowers in the windows and in the piano.
Breakfast was included with our stay and it was delicious,hot croissants and local pastries and the presentation was lovely.

Good hotel not good enough for 4 star hotel though

expected more of a 4 star hotel. The room i was given looked over interior court with direct view from the next building window into the room. Small and a bit depressing room with not enough neither natural nor artificial lighting. Bathroom had only a tub with a hand held shower hooked 6\" above edge of tub, made it very difficult to take a shower. No coffee machine, just an electric hot water maker and bad instant coffee.
Staff was nice and polite. Good location if you did not want to be in the tourist areas.

I booked the classic room, and was delighted to find a little balcony and a view of the Eiffel Tower. The room was clean and oh so charming. Loved the Nuxe toiletries. The two gentlemen at the reception was very warm and friendly. It is definitely not a central location for tourist, but it was close to two metro station and a bus stop right in front of the hotel. Plenty of restaurants and even a monoprix within walking distance

Would definitely stay here again!

Friendly staff, clean and neat rooms. As we arrived at the hotel they helped us orient ourselves to the city. They allowed us to check in early. Great neighborhood with easy access to the metro and walking distance from Arc de Triomphe.

Wonderful hotel

Perfect 2 night break at Hotel De Banville. We had a standard room on the first floor, whilst it wasn't as breathtaking as the superior rooms look on the photos it was decorated in a typical French style with everything we needed. Nice quiet area which we felt safe to walk around at night and plenty of restaurants close by. 2 minute walk from the metro & 20 minutes from the Arc de Triomphe. Breakfast was wonderful, fresh bread & pastries as you expect in France but plenty of healthy options too. Certainly recommended!
