Osa is a lovely spot for a drink, but plan on dining elsewhere. Breakfast buffet is serviceable but not worth the $.
Not enough towels in the room, and the hvac in the bathroom never shuts off.
Otherwise a great option for lodging in Pasadena, with 8$ parking across the street!

I stayed for 4 nights and the light housekeeping that was done was empty the trash cans. The towels on the floor instead of being replaced was just put back into the rack. The air conditioning was not working as expected . The window was not closed properly before I checked in and the whole night it was whistling because of the winds , so no good sleep either until the next day maintenance fixed it.

The room was nice, but small and nothing special. Some event that was being held here wa a bit loud and we could hear through our window. What was really disappointing was the breakfast that was so highly talked about and we'd hoped to get before exploring. It was $30 for what amounts to a continental breakfast everywhere else (pre-packaged, store bought yogurts, fruit, cheese and cold cuts). On the plus side, the restaurants around here are amazing.... so get out and find great food elsewhere!

We had a suite, spotlessly clean, nice and roomy with decent beds that could have been a bit softer, and an excellent shower. Staff were universally polite and motivated to please. The location was perfect. The Osa restaurant was a cut above the typical hotel restaurant. The only issue was the breakfast buffet which was just embarrassing. Fortunately Urth Café is just across the street.

The staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean. The only negative comment I have is the rootop restaurant - Osa. The service was very very slow and poor customer service. Although the burger was good, the fries were so salty they burned our mouth.

We stayed for leisure and had a great experience. The hotel is modern, clean, and comfortable, with an excellent bar area that was perfect for relaxing. The street views overlooking downtown Pasadena were a nice touch and added to the overall vibe. We also brought our Yorkie, Sylvester, and the experience was seamless for him as well. One thing I noticed, the counter space in the bathroom in room 429 is tilting downward towards the front. The water cannot run into the drain and stays in the sink.

I wrote a lengthy email to the manager on the day that I checked out of the hotel. I have heard back from no one.
My main issues are 1) lack of housekeeping leading people to dump their garbage in community garbage cans near the elevators, causing wretched smell for the first several days. 2) pot smoke was being pumped into our room through the ventilation system at all hours of the night. One night it was so bad that we woke up with raw throats and burning eyes. I don’t want any kind of smoke being pumped into my room when I’m trying to sleep 3) we use the workout facility one time. Upon walking in there, it was 83° with sun blaring through the windows. The thermostat was locked and there was no way to cool the room. It was almost intolerable. We called the front desk immediately and they said they would see if they could do something about it. We worked out for 40 minutes and no one ever did anything about it.

They charged me for the breakfast even though I showed them I had a free breakfast each day, and they also had a car parking charge on it as well. Nothing was said to me when checking out , I saw the extra charges after I was home and looked at email. Im glad I saw that. But some people might not.

My daughter and I stayed for two nights to attend a concert at the Rose Bowl Stadium. It was an excellent location to walk 20 minutes to the Parsons garage to connect with the free shuttle to the stadium. However, we had to change rooms due to a broken toilet, only to discover that the toilet was broken in the next room too but we managed with this particular challenge. The bathroom doors are made of glass and are barn door style which provides little privacy. This was an an issue for my daughter. The bed mattress was somewhat older in our second room which did not bode too well for my spinal arthritis. However, the staff were friendly enough when approached. We loved sitting in the lobby lounge and eating from their smaller menu which was delicious, or taking the food to our room. It made our schedule easier having this convenience. Breakfast is not worth the money but we had a fridge in our room so we brought in some of our own food and were able to get free tea/coffee from the lounge in the morning.

Room was very small which was shocking for the price we paid. I was disappointed with the menu for the rooftop bar when we arrived there. Would have liked more options. Also, when we checked in, we were told there was breakfast every morning, but come to find out it was $30/head for a very poor spread of food. Definitely not worth it and frustrating. No pool on site which is a bummer on hot days. Probably wouldn’t stay again for the price we paid. Not enough amenities like pool, spa or better restaurant to make me want to go back.

I was very excited about this new hotel, however it was a bit off. It’s brand new and yet it’s lacked some thoughtfulness. The staff was lively! The rooms air conditioning rattled and the fridge and assembled closet/shelf unit rattled all night. I know this is a silly complaint to have, however if you need silence to sleep it might distract you.

We had a good stay. Highlights were the hotel staff, the breakfast, the downstairs lounge, the same-floor water dispenser, the street parking a block away, the fitness center availability, presence of USB plugs in the room, easily configured Netflix. Room and fitness center were very clean.
Very minor issues included: rooftop closing early (we were told at 10:30pm we couldn't have a drink as they were closing), room toilet tends to stay stuck in flush mode, the courtyard view is nothing to speak of, rooms can feel claustrophobic as they're on the smaller & darker side.
What we'll remember: breakfast and close-by street parking free til 10am.
If we look again for a hotel in the same area, we'll consider staying here again.

The bathroom water tank toilet was either flowing continuously because of the flapper not closing. I left it open so I can manually fixed it . The tube were the water flows inside the tank was not in the right spot so I have to fixed it

This property is beautifully designed. We loved the lobby bar that opens up to downtown Pasadena. Staff throughout were super helpful and nice. Market, water refill & great breakfast set up are all really practical.
Our room was small but had everything you could need & was spotlessly clean. Comfy bed!
Didn’t get a chance to check out the rooftop but we were staying on the 6th floor and it always looked buzzing - will def go back. Will only be staying at this hotel when visiting Pasadena from now on.

I have been staying at the AC almost every week for the last two months. The hotel is still struggling with service on the roof deck ( very poor).
The AC was obviously very clean when it first opened however with the lack of help it’s definitely not as clean as it once was and is beginning to have a bad smell. This morning my bad I had some milk with my breakfast and OMG!! it had expired 6 days ago and was already spoiled.
Overall I love the location, front staff is absolutely amazing, I just feel the wrong people are managing the different departments. Maybe it’s because of a labor shortage?

I cannot say enough great things about my recent stay at the AC Hotel Pasadena, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was the outstanding customer service provided by Roman. From the moment I arrived, Roman went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and taken care of. His professionalism, attentiveness, and warm demeanor made all the difference — if I could give 10 stars out of 10 for customer service, I absolutely would!

The room itself was breathtaking — hands down the most beautiful hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. Every detail was thoughtfully designed, and the atmosphere was modern, calming, and luxurious.

Great hotel and location! Easy walk to grab a meal and a quick drive to downtown Pasadena as well as other nearby cities/neighborhoods. Love the workout room in this hotel, it has a good assortment of weights and cardio machines to help you get your work-out in while you are traveling. The hotel is fairly new so the interior and exterior look great. Also, I like the way the lounge area is set-up ...there is a fairly spacious area near the loop where you can enjoy a light meal and/or work on your computer. The bar offers a decent assortment of wine, etc and seating the extends to the outside which is also nice in the evening. Overall, the hotel feels bright and welcoming, particularly the first floor.

The AC in the hotel did not work. Maintenance had to reboot the system and it caused all of the lights on AC and smoke detectors to blink. Luckily only lasted about 15 minutes and did not interrupt our sleep.
