Excellent stay! Good coffee to start the day. I’m afraid we didn’t find the breakfast buffet interesting enough to warrant $20/pp but there are so many options in the area that there were plenty of alternatives. The fitness room was quite good.

The staff of the hotel are AMAZING!!! They go.oit of their way to get to know the guest and no request is too small, nor to.big. We stayed for 7 days/ 6 nights. We stayed there for my doctoral graduation. The staff remembered when the day was and congratulated me. This was not contrived but they genuinely cared, even the valet guys were amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who has to travel to Pasedena and the next time I'm in Pasedena, I will definitely stay there.

The wifi is not complementary, you have to join a membership (yes it's free but doesn't change the fact of having to sign up for something). Therefore it is not free as they want your information for spam blasting your email with ads. The lobby smelled of cleaning chemicals. Only options for super soft zero supportive pillows on the bed. Staff were super nice and hotel was very clean. Parking was a nightmare. For the price I probably will never be staying here again but it was a fine hotel.

The grounds surrounding the hotel, the parking structure and sidewalks, had several alarming features. When parking and exiting our car, I saw a rolled up dollar bill. We all know why that's for. So we moved spots. Came back a day after, someone is sleeping next to our car.
We went for a walk for coffee, and we came back to a man's dirty sock at our door. As two women this was slightly off putting.

Unrelated to the hotel, but should be noted for travelers as it's about the area. I'm a twenty five year old woman, but I look young for my age. I haven't experience such a level of safety risk in years. There are older men here, with money, who grin for too long, cat call, follow. I had an old man stare at me for two minutes straight, barely blinking. I finally kind of snapped and asked him what he was looking at. He grinned, really creepily with all his teeth, and never stopped staring until people came to help me. Then he finally left, but locals had to make sure he left me alone.

When checking out, we brought our car to the valet/loading area. It's the loading area by the loading carts, lobby entrance, and that kind of round about drive in. I'm a disabled person, with a massive neurological deficit. So needless to say, everything takes me a bit longer. I have 2 service dogs just to help with everyday life, and the hotel was aware of this. When bringing up our car, we were, and I swear I'm not exaggerating, instantly hounded by this valet guy. Asked us 3 times what we were there for and we just kept saying to check out. Which we've seen other people load and unload there so it was already an off interaction. Then he insisted we had only 15 minute \"grace period\". And that we'd have to leave our keys in the car. When we didn't for safety reasons, he insisted they stay with him, tried to walk up on us and everything. We wanted to work with policy, so we said that's ok. But he wouldn't give us a ticket for the car key... Refused to, and said if he did give us a ticket, he'd have to charge us. So we went inside to speak with the front desk staff to figure out where we're supposed to go, and the valet guy is standing wide, in the main doorways just watching us. Then yelled at us from across the lobby, \"I just need your keys!\" A manager had to get involved, to tell him it's fine. But the guy started trying to argue with him! We were \"allowed\" to pack our car, but he never stopped staring us down. We weren't even late to check out...

Stayed at the AC hotel during the week for a work conference. Less than a 10 min walk to the Pasadena Convention Center. Amazing restaurants and coffee shops walking distance. The most amazing hospitality. I was greeted by Vallet and Front Desk staff so kindly. The room was perfect size, clean and cozy. Loved the rooftop restaurant and views of Pasadena. Overall amazing stay.

The AC is a modern Marriott. The rooms are great and the hotel is really efficiently run. The staff are all friendly and very helpful. The location is perfect as it’s right across the street from several good restaurants, with easy access to other parts of Pasadena. We love staying there.

This is a nice property with an excellent location in downtown Pasadena.

The only complaint we had is that the bathroom sink was installed such that it never fully drained. There was always standing water in the front half and it got nasty after a day’s use. Even after the room was cleaned there was still standing water in the drain.

Osa is a lovely spot for a drink, but plan on dining elsewhere. Breakfast buffet is serviceable but not worth the $.
Not enough towels in the room, and the hvac in the bathroom never shuts off.
Otherwise a great option for lodging in Pasadena, with 8$ parking across the street!

I stayed for 4 nights and the light housekeeping that was done was empty the trash cans. The towels on the floor instead of being replaced was just put back into the rack. The air conditioning was not working as expected . The window was not closed properly before I checked in and the whole night it was whistling because of the winds , so no good sleep either until the next day maintenance fixed it.

The room was nice, but small and nothing special. Some event that was being held here wa a bit loud and we could hear through our window. What was really disappointing was the breakfast that was so highly talked about and we'd hoped to get before exploring. It was $30 for what amounts to a continental breakfast everywhere else (pre-packaged, store bought yogurts, fruit, cheese and cold cuts). On the plus side, the restaurants around here are amazing.... so get out and find great food elsewhere!

We had a suite, spotlessly clean, nice and roomy with decent beds that could have been a bit softer, and an excellent shower. Staff were universally polite and motivated to please. The location was perfect. The Osa restaurant was a cut above the typical hotel restaurant. The only issue was the breakfast buffet which was just embarrassing. Fortunately Urth Café is just across the street.

The street views overlooking downtown Pasadena were a nice touch and added to the overall vibe. We also brought our Yorkie, Sylvester, and the experience was seamless for him as well. One thing I noticed, the counter space in the bathroom in room 429 is tilting downward towards the front. The water cannot run into the drain and stays in the sink.

I wrote a lengthy email to the manager on the day that I checked out of the hotel. I have heard back from no one.
My main issues are 1) lack of housekeeping leading people to dump their garbage in community garbage cans near the elevators, causing wretched smell for the first several days. 2) pot smoke was being pumped into our room through the ventilation system at all hours of the night. One night it was so bad that we woke up with raw throats and burning eyes. I don’t want any kind of smoke being pumped into my room when I’m trying to sleep 3) we use the workout facility one time. Upon walking in there, it was 83° with sun blaring through the windows. The thermostat was locked and there was no way to cool the room. It was almost intolerable. We called the front desk immediately and they said they would see if they could do something about it. We worked out for 40 minutes and no one ever did anything about it.

They charged me for the breakfast even though I showed them I had a free breakfast each day, and they also had a car parking charge on it as well. Nothing was said to me when checking out , I saw the extra charges after I was home and looked at email. Im glad I saw that. But some people might not.

My daughter and I stayed for two nights to attend a concert at the Rose Bowl Stadium. It was an excellent location to walk 20 minutes to the Parsons garage to connect with the free shuttle to the stadium. However, we had to change rooms due to a broken toilet, only to discover that the toilet was broken in the next room too but we managed with this particular challenge. The bathroom doors are made of glass and are barn door style which provides little privacy. This was an an issue for my daughter. The bed mattress was somewhat older in our second room which did not bode too well for my spinal arthritis. However, the staff were friendly enough when approached. We loved sitting in the lobby lounge and eating from their smaller menu which was delicious, or taking the food to our room. It made our schedule easier having this convenience. Breakfast is not worth the money but we had a fridge in our room so we brought in some of our own food and were able to get free tea/coffee from the lounge in the morning.

Room was very small which was shocking for the price we paid. I was disappointed with the menu for the rooftop bar when we arrived there. Would have liked more options. Also, when we checked in, we were told there was breakfast every morning, but come to find out it was $30/head for a very poor spread of food. Definitely not worth it and frustrating. No pool on site which is a bummer on hot days. Probably wouldn’t stay again for the price we paid. Not enough amenities like pool, spa or better restaurant to make me want to go back.
