Need to clean the air conditioning unit. Smelled like someone had urinated in the vents, so imagine the smell of the air coming out. I had to turn it off because of the stench. The walls are thin so heaven help you if you are next to a circus monkey that stays on the phone all night! I complained to the night person but the chimp neighbor continued his monkey shines! I’ve stayed here several times so it’s not usually bad….

Stayed here because it was 5 minutes from my daughter’s new place. We had a room with a jetted tub was very nice for end of the day relaxation. All amenities were nice but the best of which was the all day coffee. We really appreciated being able to have it hot at any time of day. Thank you for the hospitality will come again

I want to sincerely thank the team at Hotel Glendale for making my stay feel so special during a really transitional time in my life. Kae from the Front Desk Guest Relations team and Bri from Housekeeping Team have both shown such genuine kindness and care. The way they carry themselves and the warmth they share truly makes a difference—it’s the kind of hospitality that makes someone feel seen and welcomed, not just like another guest passing through.

For me, the value of a hotel stay has never been about price or luxury, but about the feeling a place gives you. Hotel Glendale has a warmth and comfort that’s hard to describe but easy to feel. While I’ve briefly explored a few other hotel properties during this time after experiencing a house fire and searching for my next home, it’s made me realize how special this place really is. Even being at a beachfront property on a high floor right now, I still find myself thinking about the cleanliness, care, and heart that exists at Hotel Glendale.

The thoughtful details around the hotel,the vending machines on each floor, the fresh H₂O station, and the latte machines, are small touches that make the experience even more comforting.

Room was DISTGUSTING!!!
1. Bed Pillows were small square "decorative" pillows, not actual sleeping pillows. (UGH - I have a pictures!)
2. Bathroom sink was backed up. (UGH - I have pictures!)
3. Shower was backed up and I have to wash my feet outside the tub after I took a shower due to filmy water (UGH - I have pictures!)
4. Outlet in the bathroom did not work and I had to do my hair by the bed with no mirror. (UGH - I have pictures!)
5. Outside was VERY seedy and sketchy people loitering around when I arrived. I put a chair under the door knob to feel a little safer, but I didn't. I have a really nice, expensive car and was scared and hoped it would be there in the morning (UGH!!). I was by myself and did not sleep all night (UGH!!)

You REALLY need to take this hotel (can you call it that -???) off your list, it was disgusting and I will let everyone know - UGH!!

We have had much better experiences than this in the past at other Best Western Plus locations. The main problem was noise from an adjacent room. We could hear the television through the wall very clearly, and the TV was on for every minute of our stay, including overnight. Staff refused to do anything to rectify the situation. Also, there was quite a bit of traffic noise coming into our room from the busy street outside. The bed and bathroom were nice; but the furniture looked worn and shabby. The place definitely needs a renovation.

What really stood out to me during my stay was how smooth everything felt from start to finish. The check-in and check-out were super easy, the room was spotless, and the staff — including the cleaners — were incredibly polite and welcoming. I loved the amenities and the free breakfast, and the location turned out to be really convenient for everything I needed to do. Parking was easy, and the Wi-Fi actually worked well, which is a big win. Overall, it just made the whole stay feel comfortable and stress-free.

Also, the parking aoaces are the smallest spaces I have ever seen, ans every single car was parked on/over the line, it was pretty nerve-wracking to park.

Nice quiet safe motel. I liked the green theme. Proper front desk service. Helpful when I had a problem with an electrical item in my room. That was fixed. Nice bed, fresh linen. Parking was extra which I didn’t know until I checked in. There is a small pool I didn’t use. There is a small patio area out front we did use which was nice. Vending machine on site but there is a Ralph’s a block away. Breakfast was included but was quite basic. There are plenty of great places to eat breakfast, lunch, dinner etc East on Colorado. I recommend Cindy’s and Oinkster . I would have liked a safe in my room. I will 100% stay here again.

We stayed for 3 days and after the first room service had tons of insects and flies on the pillows and bedsheet which caused tons of inconvenience.
They provided us with another room and the bathtub had issue draining water next morning.
On top that the manager called on day 2 11:15am asking us to checkout the room as he wasn’t able to see us in the system after all the back and forth on the phone (while we were already on a tour in Malibu) he then threatened us saying that “I’m the manager here and it won’t be good for you if you do not cooperate “.

The first night I went to the jacuzzi and the water was dirty and the water was cold that’s not the way a jacuzzi should be it was the same the next 3 nights also there were 2 girls arguing at about1 in the morning then the police came about 1 a.m. to talk to one of them. The 2nd night there were people playing music in the parking lot until 10 pm then in the morning around 5am there was someone dragging there suitcase down the stairs.

Refund due. No response yet from hotel.

Hotel was double booked and my cancellation with Hotels.com did not process. I received a charge for $155.30 as a no-snow which I cannot resolve. I am waiting for the hotel manager to return my call. Im told by Hotels.com that the Best Western manager must approve and authorize the refund charged by Hotels.com as a no-show. I am awaiting a resolution to this matter.

Very sub par location at best. Very basic and they offer water from a spigot for hot or cold at all times, however they will charge children $2 for bottled water when they come into the lobby. Quiet, clean and comfortable

We stayed for three nights during Anime Expo. We got a warm, friendly greeting upon arrival (at about 10 PM) and were checked in very quickly. Our third-floor room with two beds faced the freeway, but it was surprisingly quiet. The room was very neat and clean, with laminate floors rather than carpet and two closets.

We never got a chance to get breakfast, as we had to leave each day before their breakfast service started. But it sure smelled good when we were checking out (also a fast, easy process).

There are a number of fast food places right down Colorado Blvd. and a Ralphs grocery store too. That was convenient. And this hotel is right off the Glendale Freeway, an easy drive to the LA Convention Center.

If I had any complaint, it was that the tub/shower room was really cramped, and for some reason when we turned the fan on during our second night, we could smell cigarette smoke either from outside or another room.

But overall, my son and I were very pleased and plan to make this our home base when we need to be at the Convention Center or in the Glendale area.

It started with an argument over changing my room and how because I booked with Hotels.com I would have to cancel instead of just moving to a different room with two beds. This after I’d called in advance and was told it was “no problem.” Then, the bathroom towel rack was broken, the room phone never worked, the condition holder was broken.

The hotel is rundown and needs a renovation. The rooms are tiny.
Additionally, of the 3 double beds we had booked, one had no knob in the restroom; and in the 2nd room the restroom washbasin was clogged. When we went to the night clerk she was very rude and informed us nothing could be done and to talk to manager the following day. We had checked in late around 10.30 pm.
The other day the manager informs me that the maintenance would not be available until the following day. Hence we cancelled our booking for the next 2 days out of 3 days. Strongly recommend avoiding this property.

The rooms are not so bad, but the parking lot spaces are really narrow. The area is really noisy, closer to roads and there is no acoustic isolation for the rooms. In addition the air conditioning is noisy and close of the bed, also creating more noise. But the really good point is the staff. Outstanding!!!!

It is a very noisy location. The building is quite old with little insulation to keep out outside noise and noise from adjoining rooms. No carpets or lamps in the rooms. Just overhead lighting. Not a good value.
