Stay here for work purposes, good place, and great centralized spot to access other places in as well as outside of Los Angeles. Room is a good size, clean and comfortable. Bed is very comfortable, refrigerator and microwave made it easy for me. Plenty of choices around to pick up food.

We love this little motel. We stay here whenever we are in the LA area. It is.not fancy but it is very clean and the staff is helpful and friendly.

This town is so cute!! The staff here was very nice, check in and out was fast. They even give you discounts for food options near by, one of which is the restaurant that they filmed the opening scene for Reservoir Dogs in. Our room was pretty big and nicer than I expected. We got an accessible room since my nephew uses a wheelchair, and the shower in that room was great!
The beds and pillows were very comfortable, the room was very clean and the AC was ok, it took a bit to cool the room down, but once it did, it was nice and cold. The parking lot is big and well lit. The area was nice and quiet, and close to where we needed to go.
There is a lot of food options near by that were fantastic!! I would absolutely stay here again!!

The hotel overall seemed like they took an old hotel and put some lipstick on a pig. I'm ok with that. The pool was not heated, so useless. The price reflects that. What was not ok: our room smelled gross. There was some nasty smell that they tried to cover by spraying something to cover it up. Very cool that someone called to see if our room was ok after we got in. But when I mentioned the smell their solution was to come up and spray some air freshener. When I told her, \"no thanks, someone already did that\" she said, \"ok, let us know if there is anything else you need.\" I'd stay here again for a day or two just because it's so close to where I need to be and there are few hotels in this area.

This hotel is awesome. It’s Symplr with beds sinks bathrooms, clean great TV remote works nice table 2 chairs once Swivl it’s lovely many pillows people at the reception desk very friendly. The room was very clean, spacious and updated. The bed and pillows were comfy. The TV with DirecTV worked flawlessly. There was coffee, hot and cold filtered water with some basic pastries in the morning and cookies in the evening. The area seemed very safe and it was relatively quiet. A Starbucks is a block away and there is a great pizza spot called Wallflower that is also walkable. The Metro 180 Bus takes you directly to Old Pasadena for $1.75. Save and stay at the The Hills Inn at Eagle Rock!

I have been staying at this hotel for the past seven years, at least twice a year, and each stay has been longer than two weeks. However, despite being a long-term and loyal customer, the hotel offers no benefits or recognition for returning guests.

Every year, I experience the same issue: I cannot watch a movie on the TV for more than five minutes because the internet connection is very poor. In addition, I was informed that starting this year, breakfast is no longer provided.

Another major reason I seriously reconsider staying at this hotel is the pillow. It is extremely uncomfortable and has caused me neck pain

The room was in good condition and the staff were friendly. It would be great if the hotel had soft yellow/ warm lightening instead of that hospital white lighting. Be also great if the jacuzzi was hotter and open till 10 or 11pm per guest request. Most hotels have their pool facilities open till at least 10pm. Wish I could have used shampoo to wash but there was very little in the dispensers. I thought the coffee and pastries were a good touch at reception. I think if the hotel did what is recommended here it would be a good to great place to stay. Focus on the small touches and not the bottom line profits and you may see more people.

The Hills Inn is a moderately-priced older two-story hotel, with interior parking. There is an elevator to the upper floor, and several staircases. Our room was clean and quiet; housekeeping changes linens every other day. There is a refundable $100 damage deposit, which was credited a few days after our departure. Staff are polite and friendly. We enjoyed our stay, and would stay there again for future visits to Eagle Rock.

We stayed at this hotel because we travelled from Northern California to go to a concert in Pasadena. The hotel was clean, staff was very friendly, they were always available anytime we needed anything. Staff checked in with us to make sure the room was clean. Pool and hot tub were small but nice looking. Parking was always available. My only complaint is that from one side you couldn't see the sign very well because of tree branches, so I drove by as we got there at night and it was an unfamiliar area.
