Check in process very easy, clean room and great area. But the best of my staying at ULIV was the security Berenice, since day 1 she helped not only with my check in, but also assisted me all the time with directions and suggestions. Please recognize her job because of her i will definitely come back at ULIV.

Room was in good order, staff greeted me from checking and throughout my stay. The staff was great to say the least. The rooftop is quite nice if you want to relax and get some sun.

The area is about a 15 min walk to restaurants on Avenida Amsterdam. I found much calmer and great eating options on Calle Zacatecas near Uliv.

We loved this location and property! It was a bit farther from a lot of Roma Norte restaurants and places we wanted to check out (ex. the Angel, Grand Chupultepec Park, etc) but we made it work with Uber and long walks.

The check in process was easy, and the staff was super helpful as we arrived very late at night and also left at an abnormal check out times without issue.

Something to note, is there are no elevators so luggage has to be carried up metal stairs. There is signage for guests to be quiet in the stairwell, but this is not always the case. It was quite loud when people thunked their luggage’s down the stairs at all hours of the night.

Other than the occasional noise and metal stairs, the property had everything we needed and wanted!

The staff did everything they could to resolve any issues. The air conditioner didn't work, so they provided a fan. Yhe room had everything you needed to make your own meals if this was what you wanted. I would definitely return to this jotel. Great area.

I stayed at ULIV Roma Norte and let’s just say, if you’re low-maintenance, you’ll thrive here. This is as basic as it gets. There’s no elevator, so if stairs aren’t your thing and you want more space, you’ll need to grab a room on the first level. Don’t expect room service, stocked toiletries, or a traditional front desk. It’s more self-service style, with security guards covering multiple roles, but to be fair, they were kind and welcoming. The biggest plus is the location. Roma Norte is safe, lively, and full of great coffee shops, restaurants, and pastry spots within walking distance. If you’re on a budget, don’t need frills, and just want a clean place to sleep in a great neighborhood, it works. If you’re expecting hotel-level amenities, this isn’t that.

We had an amazing time at Uliv. Everyone who works there is so nice and kind, we stayed at the PH and the king bed was super comfortable. The place is very clean and well kept, hanging plants in the staircase are beautiful.

Solo woman traveler, I had an excellent stay: easy check in, location was perfect for all the things I did. I felt safe having someone there around the clock being familiar w/ your face and providing recommendations if needed. The room was efficient but I should have requested extra towels for my 5 day stay. Also, they should be sure to wash the throw pillows and encourage inside voices at night. Would definitely stay again!

The good:
Staff was generally great.
Clean, modern, well equipped room with A/C and heat, a comfortable king bed, fridge, microwave, 2 burner stove, cups, silverware, a cooking pot, espresso machine etc.
Laundry machines are there, and are free, and work well.
A good location.

The reason why it doesn’t get 5 stars is noise. From multiple sources. This is a small place. We were in one of the front rooms, facing the street at street level, with the big steel front door in between. Don’t accept on of those rooms.

You hear the front door, every guest coming and going, all the front desk conversations day and night 3 feet from your room, outside conversations on the sidewalk, people knocking on your window from the street, people knocking on the front door, a super loud gasoline compressor tanker pump truck arrived at 11pm one night, ran a hose through the lobby near our door and pumped until 11:45 pm right in front of our window one night. Who does that?

We asked for a different room and did not get one during our stay. Also, the outside lights were directly above our window and were on all night, every night. The curtains did not block them completely. We needed earplugs every single night. The stairs are also metal.

If you stay here I highly recommend a room on the 2nd to 5th floors, in the back only, to reduce the noise from everything. I think they would be much quieter. Note there is no elevator.

It was pretty quiet . Perfect for a couple . On site staff was extremely friendly and accommodating . Shoutout to Ingrid . This will be our home base in Mexico city from now on !

Service great. My major issue was the shower. The water pressure was low from a \"rainfall\" head and the water would suddenly get hot and cold all within seconds. So it wasnt stable in terms of keeping temperature of the water.

Only reason it didn’t get a 5 star is due to the amount of stairs. Stayed in the pent house on the 5th floor and there was no elevator.
Climbing those stairs multiple times a day was not fun

The room was very clean, that is the positive thing about this place. Minimum contact with staff because they don’t speak any English except for one person so it was mostly hi and bye. The standard room is more for like one person. The bathroom is very tight for two. There is no vent in the bathroom and no hand held shower. The blow dryer is very weak and blows only cold air so I didn’t get to wash my hair during my three day because I couldn’t dry it. The treadmill in their so-called gym needs a lot of attention too. This is a great place if you’re really traveling with a tight budget since every little thing is extra including room service. The location is right at the cusp of good and not so good neighborhoods, definitely very walkable to trendy cafés and restaurants. I will not be staying here again. I’d rather have a little more luxury than just the basics when traveling.

The room was spacious and clean. It was also in a great location. Every thing in Roma was walking distance. Polanco, Condesa, Chapultepec, Centro Histórico were all a 20 minute Uber on average. The only thing i did not enjoy was that our room was on the first floor and connected to their office/storage room. You can hear people talking in the lobby area early in the mornings or late at night. However, i did not see an elevator so a downside to staying in a room on a upper floor would be needing to carry all your luggage up the stairs.

The staff went above and beyond to accomodate my stay - the building doesn't have an elevator but we managed to host me in lower levels for my comfort. The location is excellent for visiting Mexico City for a couple of days. Didn't get a chance to check out the amenities, but it is a great plus. The rooms are spacious and well equipped.

The area is amazing and you’ll be able to easily walk into Roma Norte and Condesa.

We stayed in the PH and while we didn’t use the patio a lot it was nice to have the natural light. I will say the only thing is the patio doesn’t feel as private as you might like as it’s only sectioned off by a moderate partition leading to the laundry room, gym and communal rooftop. BUT it’s still very very lovely. There’s a bit of noise from the neighbouring building - only to consider if you’re a light sleeper but they do provide earplugs.

Loved the staff and they were wonderful about checking in, communication and storing our bags. We would absolutely return.

We stayed at ULIV Roma for about a week and had a great stay, all staff were extra friendly and accommodating, security was excellent, and they took extra steps to make our stay a lovely experience. The area is away from the busy part of Roma Norte, in a quieter area but with a ton of cafes, dining and cocktail options, we frequented many within a 1 or 2 block radius. It was very walkable to the main parts of Roma, Condessa, and several other areas, if you’re a walker. Ubers from the hotel to further areas was easy and inexpensive. Our room was nice & a good size, I didn’t see when booking that housekeeping was extra, but we didn’t spend much that time at the hotel, so we made do, and any extras we needed, like toilet paper etc, they provided. We could have used a few more towels but we didn’t ask. All in all an amazing price and stay, and I highly recommend.

The staff was nice and check in was easy. Staff communicated the entire stay and security was accommodating. The neighborhood felt safe and it was walkable with restaurants and cafes nearby. Although the room seemed clean, I sneezed the entire time I was there. I also didn’t sleep well during my stay. Lastly the room I stayed in was on the top floor and there was no elevator. When other guests would smoke it would come in my room. And when I brought it up to staff they minimized my concern. I would stay there again, but would request a bigger room.

Clean property, however feel the 1 complimentary cleaning should have been provided at the midpoint of the stay and not towards the end. Friendly staff but did not speak English ( except for one) which was very disappointing. If you have a concierge, communication in critical. Basic kitchen which we did not use except for the fridge. No kettle used Microwave to heat water. No elevator therefore not able to access terrace.

The security guard was really helpful. Even with the language barrier, their customer service was good. Room was clean and spacious. The kitchen was equipped with a microwave, fridge, and a stove. There are also plates, cutleries(spoons, knives, and forks).If you want to cook there are some supermarkets around the area that's walking distance. Lots of good restaurants to eat at that is also walkable.

Overall it was a nice hotel and I really liked the neighborhood it was in. However, we were on the first floor and it was very loud. There was a street light that came in through the window at night, and the blinds did not cover it - so it was hard to sleep. The people who work at the hotel were extremely nice and helpful. However, one day into my stay I receive a text message that the gym was closed for two weeks for maintenance. The gym was one of the reasons I chose the hotel and given that they knew it would be closed, I was very angry that I was not told this in advance. I replied to the text but didn't get a response. I thought this was irresponsible of the hotel and really wish I had been told this in advance.

It worked well. Strange though that in the 5 days we stayed there was no cleaning or new towels. We were told on arrival that we could pay extra for that. Staff were friendly and apartment was pretty comfortable except for a weird constant noise made by a pump behind the bathroom wall.
