The pools are wonderful and because there are many of them so they stay uncrowded. The food was incredible too.

The thermal pools were amazing, the staff was friendly and attentive, beds were comfortable and the included breakfast buffet was fantastic. Our jr suite, which was room 222 had an epic view of the volcano, and we so so many birds right from our roon. WiFi was terrible, and the jr suite which we stayed in was dated, and had a vanity with a terrible stool instead of a desk, which would have been ideal.

It was so enjoyable to walk around the grounds. The landscaping was absolutely beautiful. There was plenty of wildlife to see. There were two sloths near check in and a Glock of birds roost in a tree at night near a walkway. In the morning there is a group of turkey like birds that walk around. We went to several pools and restaurants. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Overall a very nice place to stay.

My mom and I had such a wonderful time at the Manoa Resort. The staff was incredibly friendly, and wanted to point out Jose, the bartender, who made us feel right at home. He was so welcoming and kind, which made our trip even more memorable. We highly recommend this resort and will be sharing our experience with friends and family. I will definitely be back in the near future.

The room was average. I liked the villa style, but the rooms were basic, and in the washrooms I could hear the people in the villa next to me the entire time when they were in the bathroom showering or using the toilet. No insulation as I could hear their conversations.
There was lack of hot water, perhaps warm at best. The hot stone massage was amazing, but other than that I felt the staff to not be friendly. Often not being acknowledged most of the time. Buffet breakfast could use some changing rather than the same things everyday. Overall for the dollar value, wasn’t really pleased.

This is a nice calm property with limited spread out units so not too crowded. The breakfast was very nice with a lot of vegan and vegetarian options. The service was quick and they would send anything and everything very quickly 24*7. We also saw a lot of birds like tucans in the trees surroundimg the property. The pools were nice but just warm Like luke warm only which was disappointing as it was supposed to be the thing we were here for mostly. There was nothing like one pool which would have like a 32 deg centi plus water. Also there was a water leak at night in the water feeding the flush in our washroom and it flooded the whole room at night. Things happen but it is the design of the washroom which had no outlet for the leeking water and it just flooded the room which is the main concern. Lastly they did however respond quickly and fixed and cleaned everything at night (1am) itself which was very good service. They did send a fruit basket and an apology letter too the next day. I hope they fix the design flaw.

Arenal Manoe was an excellent experience. Its location is central to all the main attractions in La Fortuna but away from the busy town. The surrounding trees and volcano views are stunning, they were as beautifull at night when everything is beautifully lit. The food was exceptional, the service friendly, and the pool area clean and relaxing with great drinks. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting La Fortuna.

My family of 4 had such a nice stay at the Arenal Manoa Resort. The grounds are absolutely stunning! The gardens are breathtaking and we enjoyed a lovely view of the volcano from our room. The room was spacious and clean and we received the nicest gift before our departure. The staff was so welcoming and friendly, especially Kevin who took the time to point out the sloths on the property and made sure we got good pictures of them. It was a little chilly during our stay but we still enjoyed the warm pools and hot spring pools. The breakfast buffet was impressive and delicious! A huge thank you to the staff for keeping the coffee flowing and for making our stay at Arenal Manoa so enjoyable! Would highly recommend staying at this resort.

The room was spotless. We came during Christmas just to lay in the hot springs. The whole property was lit up and very festive. The welcoming treat and personal touches in our room were the icing on the cake. The breakfast was full of choices. The resort is located close to La Fortuna town and many great excursions. Arenal Manoa gave me the best breakfast experience I’ve ever had; the buffet is complete, offering everything from traditional options to local dishes, and I genuinely looked forward to the mornings just to enjoy it again. The hot springs are relaxing and warm—comfortable without feeling too hot. The only thing I would improve is the shower pressure, especially with hot water, which felt a bit weak in our room. Overall, it’s an excellent stay with great food and a calm, enjoyable atmosphere.

In room furniture could be better - More hooks to hang clothes, more seating etc. Otherwise, a great resort to stay. Lots of hot spring pool options as well. Large bedrooms with large bathrooms and helpful staff We especially loved all the on-site hot springs, especially in the evenings as the pools are atmospherically lit, and you don’t have to drive in the dark for the experience! This place was an absolute gem just outside of La Fortuna. The grounds were bigger and more beautiful than we expected based on the photos. The staff were attentive and so lovely to chat with (thank you so much Jose and Fernanda for making our stay so special). The eight thermal pools were lovely for an afternoon dip, and we loved that we could sit at the swim up bar or be in the covered hot tub when the afternoon rains came. Our room was spacious and the wife loved the hammock and the jacuzzi. Thank you to the housekeeping staff for restocking our coffee, providing meringues, and making fun little towel animals each day. WiFi worked well, parking was easy, and we loved opening the screen door and listening to the rain each afternoon.
Our absolute favorite part of the resort was the sloths. We saw them twice near the front office and got lucky to catch one crossing the road just before we left which was such an amazing end to our trip! The only negative about this resort is the prices in the bar and restaurant. The dinner quality is okay, but we had much better quality dishes in town. Drinks are very spendy so we didn’t spend as much time at the resort or by the pool as we thought we would give how expensive they were. We really wanted to like La Saca, but having two meals there with very dry chicken, we were a little disappointed. However the staff at the restaurant were amazing!
We will absolutely return to the property on our next visit to La Fortuna!

It was our family vacation, and we all had an amazing time at this resort! Everyone was super happy with our stay. On our last night, the resort surprised us with a complimentary dinner — the food was delicious! The staff were friendly, helpful, and very responsive. If you have a rental car, you can conveniently drive and park right in front of your room, which was a big plus for us. Each room also has a balcony, and you can see the volcano right from your bed first thing in the morning — absolutely breathtaking!

We stayed here for a family vacation. It was such a beautiful place to stay. You walk out of room and you feel like you are the o Ly one there. The spring pools on property were amazing and they come and serve you drinks in the pool. The main dining hall is open and you can watch the wildlife (and volcano if it’s visible) right there when you eat.

The breakfast was amazing that was included with the stay and while I didn't use the VIP credit it didn't really cover one service so it just didn't seem as worth it to me. It was still a wonderful stay. The hot springs were not as hot as I would expect but it's a natural temperature so it was nice just having the bar located near the pool.

I loved the location of the property. It was centrally located around all the adventures that La Fortuna had to offer. The grounds and villas were well maintained. The staff was friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet had a variety of items to select from. We especially enjoyed the fresh fruit and sitting on the patio of our villa early in the morning, with a cup of coffee enjoying the sounds of nature!
