A gal approachedus with cash in hand...sorry. wrong room she said...we tossed our keys in the bullet proof glass slot and left....only there 20 minutes...photos are all Ai...it's more of a long stay arrangement

To start,I had booked a reservation here for a quick trip and I go to check in and the clerk straight up told me that A.)He couldn't find my reservation in the computer and B.)the last room that was available was a room that had no AC or power working in most of the room to then I declined to stay there in which I called Expedia and they told me that I wouldn't be charged for the cancellation which Expedia did confirm that I shown up to the property and that the information was correct about why I am canceling. I was then forced to look for another hotel for my stay however this Motel 7s management decided to still charge me for the room that I cancelled at the property and through Expedia.This propertys management is pretty shady and I wouldn't trust this property due to the circumstances and disputes I recently had to experience.

Bed cover had cigarette burn holes. Ceiling lights did not work. Lamp pole had one light working out of two. No garbage can, no fridge and no microwave, TV screen in poor condition, TV not mounted to wall just sitting on dresser laying against wall, the wall light switch did not have a cover plate. Bathroom floor had some sort of water seeping up onto the floor, bathtub did not have a rubber matt so it was very slippery. Shower valve cover was broken.

I got there prior to policy check in times. Was told no rooms available that they over booked and I wouldn't be charged. LIES! I WAS CHARGED! SCRAMBLED TO FIND A ROOM AND THEN STILL CHARGED!

The first room we were given had nicotine dripping out of the walls and cigarette burns in the comforter. We switched rooms and that one was slightly better. When we arrived back to the hotel for our second night, our water had been turned off. We were supposed to stay 3 nights and decided to leave after the first night.

I have a habit of staying at 2 star hotels pretty much anywhere I go, I don’t like spending more on a bed then I have to so I’ve stayed at alot of not great places. This was the cheapest place I could find and it was so expensive for one room one night, 180$ was insane.

This was hands down the absolute worst.
The room looked like an almost abandon studio apartment it was DIRTY.

No remote for tv all the furniture looked like it got pulled off the curb.

Got bug bites while sleeping in the bed.

Never again.

Horrible experience. Checked right our after checking in. Room was under construction. Had no curtains, sink was not installed and laying on the counter, light fixture was taken apart and laying on the counter, cabinet doors were missing, fridge was disconnected and in the middle of the floor. Said they would approve a refund but haven't to date so I've paid for 2 nights and was in the room less than 5 minutes.

Omg.... this has absolutely been the worst hotel motel stay i have ever experienced in my 68 years of life on this ol earth.... one towel... no wash cloth... no floor mat in room... antique used second hand dresser. Blinds on the windows were inadequate and torn up... maintenance was less than desirable.... have no idea how Expedia would even have it listed as a place to stay... very very disappointed

I would not recommend staying at this property. No hot water. Bathroom door looked like it was kicked in. Was unable to close the door and lock it. TV did not work. Burnt holes in sheets. The walls are thin. Could hear the couple next store fighting. Sounded like they were in my room. I stayed a couple of hours and found another hotel to stay the night.

The room wasn't cleaned well. There was a cigarette butt on the air conditioner and a black stain where someone had repeatedly put out cigarettes in that spot. The trash hadn't been emptied. There was debris of some kind on the towels, and hair in the tub. The shower knob(s) were not attached and the shower was either scalding hot or ice bath cold. I booked a room with two beds, we got a room with one. (Expedia failed to notify about that.) We couldn't get clean towels on day 2 because they didn't have any. But, the guy working there was nice and a helpful as he could be.

If I could use less then 1 star I would. First gave us a room with twin size bed when I booked a king size bed. It was dirty with cigarette butt and a department of corrections ID from someone. Cigarette burns on the blankets. Second room king size bed burn marks on blanket again still none smoking room, hardly anyone there at the front desk. Water was either super hot so you burned your skin or way too cold. No way to make a perfect water to shower. No fridge in the room AC was working when it wanted. Room was not cleaned at all fresh towels where just left at the side board in front of the tv. There are a lot of drug atticted persons around and on the hotel property makes you feel unsafe.

Let me preface this with a couple things:
First, when i had decided to write a review, i was going to say it’s without bias without any particular problem. Then the shower handle fell off, and had to run for 6h until someone fixed it.
Second, the only reason this has 2 stars is because 1 star reviews are often ignored as they are expected to someone just having a merely bad experience. I have tried to be objective as possible and just state facts.

There was no one at the front desk when we arrived. After about 15m banging on the door someone showed up and gave us a key, and we were told we had to come back in the morning to finish check in. When i came back the next morning, after a few minutes of banging on the door, from the other end of the lot the housekeeper called to me and basically said keep banging, and we were eventually checked in. I had told the housekeeper that we needed more towels and she handed some to me.

The room itself- the front door didn’t close all the way, and had no type of insulation from the outside.
There was a drop from the door to the floor.
There wasn’t an actual curtain on the window, just some blanket or something tacked up.
The TV had wires hanging off it, but it was just unsightly and didn’t really hurt anything, as well as the several spots around the walls that also had either small holes or spackled sections that were not repainted.
The rear window was broken, had no curtain, and had a light outside that shined through the entire night.

The room type we booked (2 Queen beds + kitchen) was not available when we arrived. The property had no rooms with two beds available for two adults and offered no solution. The surrounding area also felt run‑down and uncomfortable, which made the situation even more concerning. We were forced to book another hotel at our own expense and did not stay here at all.

Despite not providing the contracted room, the property refused to authorize a refund. Expedia eventually refunded us after escalation, but the hotel did not take responsibility for failing to provide the room we paid for. After reading other 1‑star reviews, it’s clear this is not an isolated incident — several guests have reported the same issues with room types not being honored and refunds being denied. Travelers should be aware of this pattern before booking.

Flying into Phoenix as my brother was transitioning through hospice. Needed a close place to stay to be with home. Hotel info stated to call for a late check in/ after 10pm. I called 5 times throughout the day left messages and NEVER received a return call!!!! I have no time to deal with poor communication at this time so we never even wasted our time checking in. I better not be charged 1 penny for this.

Absolute minimalistic experience everywhere in room 220. Shower valve was one temperature--really hot. The big exception was the king bed mattress was unexpectedly super comfy; must of been brand-new. Lots of police around on a Saturday night. Motel looked fully booked when I woke up at 8am. What do you expect for $58 total cost per night on a weekend.
