Horrible terrible. Check out at 10am. For this price 160$?! Room had no hitting !!it was old with dust and mold. Shower had not hot water it was WARM, also - full of someone’s hair. Strange smell in the room. I could hear everything what was going on in the room next to me. The REAL price should be not more them 50$
This strange bad small was all over the hotel.

The best thing about this hotel is the service. Nothing is too much for the hotel staff, and they always seem happy to help. Room was comfortable but let in a lot of noise from outside. The breakfast options are limited but what is on offer was nice. The only slight annoyance was that when we arrived my room was ready but if I wanted to access my room before the ‘official check in time’ of 2pm then I would need to pay 20€. I understand why there would be a fee to ‘prioritise’ my check in but if my room is already ready then why charge extra

Had a good stay. Booked and paid four months in advance for a solo room. Only request was for a quiet room. At check-in learned all the solo rooms are noisy, and on the ground floor facing the main street. Also realized at check-in The advertised air conditioning was not operating. Front desk mentioned the week prior They turned off air conditioning to turn on the heating system. Aside from room being noisy it was extremely hot. I returned to the front desk and he accommodated me in changing to a room on a different floor, and minutes later came up to the room to offer me yet another room where the window would open if I were warm at night. They did go out their way to accommodate my comfort.

Room has a very firm bed and two pillows, nice compact layout that worked. Bathroom has shower amenities, but I used my own toiletries, a few towels, and wall-mounted hairdryer. There is different options for servicing your room, and you leave and hang tag on the door of what you wish, whether it’s just for towels and trash or a full clean.

The breakfast included had great variety and staff were very kind and friendly.

Location is great, across the street is the bus stop for the hop on hop off # 10 stop, there’s also transit options stopping there, and two blocks away is the Keleti train station as well as metro trains.

On the corner of the street is an Aldi grocery store.

Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel and if I were ever in Budapest again, would stay here.

The room, public areas and breakfast room were all very clean and well appointed and the staff were all gracious.

Rooms: (4/5 stars) The rooms are spacious, they come with a minibar fridge which you have to pay if you use. At check-in they provide you with a filtered water. The washroom has a shower which would leak.
Breakfast: - Optional, costs around 10 euros (it is on the expensive side for a breakfast in Budapest). Going to a nearby bakery would cost around 3 euros.
Staff (5/5 stars): is friendly and helpful, they provided suggestions for food and gave convertors for different electricity.
Location: about 15 minutes walk from the Jewish Quarter and 20 minutes from the Hero's Square. The location is safe.
Price: (4/5 stars) $360 Canadian for 4 nights including Friday and Saturday night. I got the price from hotels.com.

We arrived Budapest taking a night sleeper train from Munich and we were very tired from the trip. It was a pleasant experience checking in as the jovial guy at the counter made it very easy and hassle-free for us.

Excellent hotel for its price. The service we received upon arrival by Alexander was 5 star. Providing us with good information and honest. I would stay in the same hotel again if I was in Budapest. Walking distance from the main main area and the main station. I found it quite and clean hotel. It is excellent for the price you pay, maybe beca use around this time of the year; still, perfect! The services the hotel provides is also great and facilities are good as well such as sauna. Book without hassles, highly recommend you speak to Alexander!

The hotel is situated just off the main road into the city centre. It is however in a fairly quiet location. During our 7 day stay there was a lot of emergency vehicle activity with loud sirens being used.
The hotel is very well situated for the excellent public transport services. The main train station is an easy 10 minute stroll (green and red metro lines into city centre) the bus service is 5 minute stroll across the main road. Services 5, 7 and 112 are best to city centre. Rooms 102 and 107 are spacious, quiet and basic. The Breakfast Room off Reception is bright and comfortable. There is a good choice of food and drinks available.

The room was warm and smelled of smoke when we first went into it. I had to open a window to air it out. The exercise room was very disappointing. Your list showed that you had one and I brought my workout clothing but the room had a broken stationary bike and a treadmill. That was it! There was no weights or machines.

Exceptional Service in a Budapest Hotel

A very good hotel in Budapest. We were warmly greeted by the Hotel and the gentleman at the reception was very wonderful, polite, helpful and professional. All staff in the hotel - the cleaning ladies, the restaurant staff were all very friendly-this is not a norm in the service sector in Budapest based on our experience.
The hotel is located in a quite corner of the city centre - very assessable to all attractions either on foot or by public transport. We would give this hotel a 5-star.

This is a nice comfortable hotel .

Hotel was very comfortable.Our plane was 4 hours late and we arrived after 2am. Despite this late arrival the receptionist who was lovely, checked us in with the minimum of fuss.
Nice comfortable room with good aircon and quiet. Good shower. Towels are a bit threadbare.
Breakfast buffet was excellent. Really nice young man on reception at checkout time. He is a credit to the hotel.
Overall we were very happy with our stay.

Very helpful staff who informed us that over 65's travel for free on the wonderful public transport system. Close to train station, metro underground and buses. Would certainly recommend and are planning to go again.

3 day city break

We stayed for 3 nights. Very friendly staff and provided us with maps of the city upon arrival. For the price of the stay it was cheap and the room was decent and warm.
The shower pressure was good but built up the water at the bottom and there was no body wash in the container for all 3 days so not sure the cleaners were refilling

The breakfast was excellent (good spread - eggs, bacon, sausage and all the cold cuts and cereals).
Easy taxi ride from the airport (yellow taxi around €20-€25 for 2 people) or if you were to take the train into the city and then walk 15mins.
Location: It is about a 15-20min walk to the riverside and attractions around Jewish Quarters and about a 30-40min walk in the opposite direction to the spa baths (taxis are pretty cheap though).
Also a Lidl supermarket across the road and a good local Hungarian restaurant around the corner.

The staff were very friendly and co operative.
The dining room was light and there was plenty of choice for breakfast.
The hot breakfast item were all cold.
The room was dull and tired. It was not well lit even with all the lights on.
The room toiletries were very basic. Cheap shower gel out a dispenser. Also hand basin soap out of a dispenser. For the price paid one would expect better.

Great hotel! We picked this one based on walking distance from the train station as that is how we arrived and left Budapest. It would have been a bit of a hike into the city center but the Hop on/Hop off bus literally has a stop just 2 minutes away, which was amazing! The Ruins' pub is within walking distance (1km or so) and the area was quiet. The room was spacious and clean. WIFI worked great and the Breakfast was delicious. Staff was very friendly to arrange anything that you may need. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay here again.

Great hotel that's close to the main train station

The rooms and services provided at this hotel are all very good. It's located close to the main train station for leaving or entering the city. Close enough to the main tourist areas of Budapest. The only downside is that ambulances use the main road that leads to the street that the hotel is located on. This may be annoying for some guests. Overall it is a fine hotel, clean rooms, polite staff, excellent service.

This hotel is close to the Train Station, but the neighborhood is not nice. You have to take bus, metro or taxi to go to the City Center. I arrived and departed from Budapest by train, so it worked for me. Hop-on Hop-of bus stop is one block away. Staff members were very attentive and helpful. Room was fine

This hotel is close to the train station (a couple of blocks). The neighborhood is not nice, however. If you arrive and depart by train it is a good option. Hop on hop off buses stop about one block from the hotel and can take you to citiy center. Staff was very helpful and nice. Breakfast was included, although it was not very special. Room was nice,
With a comfortable bed.

We were given a double room as a quadruple one. There was hardly any room to move. The internet had almost zero connectivity and the staff didn't care one bit about it. I had to stay in the lobby to get to the internet. The bread selection was wide, but most were uneatable because they were sour. The staff was not good at replenishing food and spoons, etc. The breakfast area was very crowded.

I will not stay again in this hotel and cannot recommend this to anyone.

An excellent well-run and modern hotel

I have stayed at this hotel several times and always enjoy the experience. The staff are efficient and friendly and they make tourists and business visitors alike extremely welcome. All work as a team which is apparent from their enthusiasm.
The receptionists go out of their way to be helpful and are very knowledgeable about places to see and how to get there.
An excellent breakfast buffet is provided and the food is constantly monitored and renewed as necessary. Unlimited delicious Douwe Egberts coffee comes from a hard-working machine. A delightful way to start a Budapest day.
Occasionally there are problems with one of the two silent lifts but this is only a minor irritation and hardly worth mentioning. One was out of order for 4 days during my most recent stay towards the end of June.
I personally prefer to book at room at the front of the hotel on the first floor although one can sometimes hear trade vehicles delivering goods to the Aldi store on the opposite corner of the street. The air-conditioning works well and can easily be adjusted for personal comfort. Bathrooms are compact and come with excellent shower systems.

Great hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff. Spacious room. Adequate buffet. And good location, two bus stops away from the Elizabet Bridge and 5 minute walk from Keleti Station. All major attractions of the city are within about 1/2 hour walk from the hotel. Will stay here again.

Not lot of restaurants choice near the hotel. In the hotel going in and out of the hotel from Upper levels, I think they only have lifts, no stairs, in case of fire, I don't know what are the evacuation plans.
