Gorgeous hotel. I was lucky to have a lovely room with a beautiful view of the beach. Staff were all friendly and helpful. There could be more vegetarian options at dinner and food could be better labelled. Breakfast was fab. Loads of choice and never struggled for a table.

Perfekt läge och bra poolområde

Vi bodde en vecka som familj på H10 Casa del Mar, i ett superiorrum med utsikt över poolområdet. Rummet var fräscht och lagom rymligt för två vuxna och vår 9-åring, men sängarna var tyvärr hårda och kuddarna ganska platta. AC:n fungerade, men lät en del eftersom den pulserade ut kyla även när den nått inställd temperatur – vilket störde sömnen lite. Däremot uppskattade vi att det var lugnt på kvällarna tack vare läget mot poolen.

Poolområdet var enkelt men väldigt bra – rent, lugnt och tillräckligt stort för att passa både vuxna och barn. Det fanns inga rutschkanor eller liknande, men vår son hade ändå kul, särskilt med pingisbordet och det lilla lekområdet vid poolen. Hotellet har ingen traditionell barnklubb, men det var gott om familjer och en barnvänlig stämning överlag.

Läget är en av hotellets största styrkor – det ligger precis vid stranden, så det var bara att gå ner med handduken på axeln. Frukosten var riktigt bra, med ett stort utbud varje morgon. Alla i familjen älskade omeletterna som lagades på beställning.

Sammanfattningsvis: ett stilrent och trevligt hotell i toppläge, perfekt för en lugn familjesemester. Det är inte ett uttalat barnhotell, men passar ändå bra för familjer som vill ha det bekvämt och lite mer vuxet. Några små minus vad gäller komforten på rummet, men överlag en positiv upplevelse.

Staff are excellent, food is lovely and location amazing, just 2 mins to beach dead opposite.
Only critical point would be sun beds, stayed 10 nights and not a chance, sad to say towels down at dawn and no sign of empty beds being removed.
Not hotels fault just selfish guests.

Good location excellent staff

Location is great its right in the middle of the resort, beach across the road. Lots of bars at the end of the street if you turn right, turn left out of the hotel and there's plenty of nice restaurants and small shops.
Hotel staff here are excellent, very helpful and polite.
Personally, I found the beds too hard but i do suffer with back problems maybe its just me, the rest of the family didnt seem to notice!
Sadly the indoor pool was freezing, and the outdoor isnt heated either so that was the downside to our holiday. Breakfast was great plenty of choice. Evening meal not as good but it was quieter, if I was to stay again I'd go bed and breakfast and eat out in the evening as I think thats what most do, which leads to there being less choice in the evening.
Caught a bus in the resort to Palma, what a city a must-see!

Property has a terrible clorox and detergent odor that is unbearable and can make you sick. The bed was super uncomfortable, the shower was broken, room and hotel just looked not well maintained. Do not recommend at all.

Wont stay anywhere else in Santa Ponsa

Fantastic stay. Sea view room on first floor with balcony area and further space with our own outdoor bed, rooftop bar and infinity pool overlooking the bay with sunsets to die for.

Room was great (for Brits there is no kettle). Comfy bed and choice of pillows. Safe. Great Wi-Fi. Superb breakfast included.

Pool area pleasant, water temp ok but sea and infinity pool warmer.

Staff were great. Location perfect, loads of restaurants within 5 minute walk. Even thought it’s central it was quiet. And best of all 10 second walk across the road to an amazing beach.

Can’t wait to return.

We arrived about midnight and raul on reception was very friendly and efficient.
The hotel organised our private return transfer which took the stress away for us.
Room clean and comfy. Few areas of TLC in the bathroom i.e peeling paint and mildrew corners.
Breakfast had so much variety all fresh!
Pool area not too busy. Roof top bar and pool lovely.
Beach right opposite the hotel. Loads of restaurants choice

Very nice hotel, prime location and staff were very helpful. We arrived several hours before check-in and they managed to get our room ready early for us.

Stayed here with my partner for my 30th birthday. The hotel left a complimentary bottle of cava in the room for us to celebrate.

The rooftop pool has great views!

The hotel has a no reserving sunbeds policy, so when people did try to reserve the limited number of day beds in the morning it was good to see them enforce this policy and remove towels from empty beds!

Will recommend this hotel to others.

Had a short 4 day break at this hotel. Couldn’t fault the hotel in any way. Everyone was Covid compliant in the hotel, wearing masks ect. Cleanliness was excellent, breakfast had plenty of choice, reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Very quiet at night time. A lovely roof top cocktail bar with fabulous views of the sunset. Would recommended this hotel and would return in the future. Good base location and staging point to explore the island.

Lovely hotel for a few days away, central location, staff pleasant and accommodating but not enough staff on at breakfast time as the hotel was full and had to search for cutlery from other tables as staff could not replace quick enough, quality and choice of breakfast good, also had sandwiches from the bar at lunchtime which were good
Did report the lock on the balcony was broken shortly after check in but no one attempted to fix during our stay, rooms were very clean and comfortable

The amenities and brunch buffet are absolutely wonderful. Location is great. Unfortunately, for the price of over $250/night, the room didn’t meet my expectations. I’m not sure if the portion of hotel I stayed in was scheduled for upcoming renovations, but the walls and doors looked like they were in dire need of a paint job, the furniture was very scratched and chipped, and the bathroom mold and mildew was disappointing. The shower worked well, but I initially walked into the shower to find a stranger’s balled up hair on the faucet. The bed was comfortable and clean. This hotel is full of relaxation and beauty if you don’t mind the price for a run-down room.

Myself and 5 friends have just spent the last 6 days here - amazing hotel! The adults only roof terrace was brilliant. So peaceful (apart from our cackles!) beautiful pool, lovely sun beds & amazing view. We had breakfast included. The food is good, really big selection, freshly cooked omelettes, pancakes & poached eggs. Lots of fruit, cereals, breads, pastries, hot breakfast, porridge - so much to choose from. Our shower flooded our room one of the days but they quickly fixed the problem I cleaned up. Would highly recommend for groups of friends.

I liked that it was close to the beach and there was also a McDonalds across the street for my daughter. Only complaint I have was the shuttle that transferred us to the hotel. The airport is about 25 minutes away but our shuttle ride took close to 3 hours and wasted a lot of our day.

Hotel reception and staff all fantastic. Roof terrace has a spectacular view and again lovely staff. We only used Dining Room for breakfast which was fantastic and pool area clean with sufficient sun beds. My only complaint is the room it’s self, very basic, hairdryers not attached to wall so swings about when getting used (same in my sons room). Maid service good however again dirty glasses left our whole stay but otherwise we had a great time and would return but possibly to a better standard of room if available as location is great.

I have just returned from a weekend staying in the 4-star H10 Casa Del Mar, Santa Ponsa.

Our group of 10 adults booked 6 rooms at the hotel after looking at the pictures available online thinking we are going to spend the long weekend in a beautiful, upmarket hotel.

After check-in and upon entering the rooms, it became apparent that the standard of the hotel is not one of a 4-star establishment. The rooms were basic which was fine however the general upkeep was not acceptable, in two rooms we had showers that flooded the floor from the bathroom into the bedroom and hall and in all rooms, there was chipped and flaking paint, water damaged walls, dirty areas, damp smelling rooms and generally unacceptable upkeep.

I complained at reception to be told that I had booked a standard room, I agree I booked standard rooms however made it clear that the standard of the rooms was simply unacceptable. I'm afraid there was no resolution and I asked to speak with the manager who was not available at the time and upon returning to reception the next day, was again unavailable.

On departure, I noticed that there was, in fact, a number of live cockroaches in the hall and as you can see from the video, this is unacceptable and leads me to believe the hotel has a hygiene issue attracting cockroaches.

Hotel it self is fairly good condition building which offers good services and good standard. You can find good restaurant downstairs. Rooms are not of a great size as they are pretty compact. Would not recommend it for stays any longer than three nights. Food is very average in buffet restaurants while breakfasts are rather poor. In overall good impression, however, it seems that staff does not really care for guests and everything takes ages to do and sort out.

Hotel was opposite the beach on a fairly good part of the town. Easy access to most bars and restaurants. Hotel food was a bit disappointing compared to stays in similar 4 Star hotels in Crete and Rhodes where we have recently stayed. Hotel Standard room was small but clean, however bathroom was not a good standard, shower and bath were old and in need of update. Evening entertainment was only 5 days in the week, but have to say the standard of acts was very good.Bar prices were reasonable and the room service daily was also very good.

Arrived at the hotel. Very disappointed in the first room we were given as bathroom was so outdated/poor condition. Asked to be moved but told we couldn’t until Saturday. Asked again the following day so got moved to another room. The new room was the same but the bathroom had been refurbished, however, after the first shower it flooded the bathroom and hall way. Clearly it has been doing this for a long period as there was severe water damage to the bathroom door and frame. So having been moved the new room was not much better. We had asked for the nicest room possible! We also now had a connecting room too which had no sound proofing whatsoever so could hear everything. The walls between the rooms were clearly very thin. We had disturbed nights each night with drunken guests slamming doors/shouting. Very noisy throughout the night resulting in little sleep.
By day we could not fault the hotel. The roof top terrace was 5*. Excellent bar staff and bar food & facilities. We could not fault this. The Breakfast was also outstanding - excellent food and polite staff too.
Luckily the taxi was 15 minutes to Palma and other nicer areas so spent most evenings elsewhere.
Would not return to this hotel and wished we could have moved to another hotel elsewhere but Expedia booking would not allow us to change.

Amazing location in the centre of Santa Ponsa with several bars and resteraunts close by. The beach is literally on the other side of the road and the roof top bar in particular is unbelievable. The room was ideal and all staff members we came across were friendly and helpful. Would recomend to anyone.

We chose this hotel because it was right on the beach. We had a pool view room which meant we were within the hotel with a view of the pool. The hotel was clean and pretty. I wish our room had had towel hooks or bars but that’s no big deal. Please note that the safe in your room is not included in the price. It’s a €10 deposit for the key and €2 per day. I have no problem with paying a deposit for the key in case it is lost but the price of the safe use itself should be encompassed by the amount of money we pay per night. The roof top pool is 16+ which is nice, the other pool downstairs is very family oriented. Drinks are well made but not cheap. We had a nice stay overall. Great location, nice and clean hotel.

Obviously Mallorca is busy in July but we found this hotel uncomfortably busy... during our 5 day stay we could not find a single free sun chair.. unless your up at 7am to put a towel down

Perfect location

Perfect location, literally across the road from the beach. Nice sun beds on the roof terraces but you have to be up early to get them! The view is awesome. We found all the staff to be friendly and very helpful, we had a superior pool view room which was modern very comfortable and cleaned daily. My only moan would be the towels on sun beds for hours on end and nobody using them especially as there weren’t enough to go round, and the roof bar closing at 11pm which was a shame.

Staff are Amazing, friendly and and help with every request. The view from the rooftop infinity pool is one of the best views in Mallorca (especially at night) and the beach is literally across the road.
Breakfast could have been better but its not an issue, it’s not the worst I’ve had in Spain, far worse out there !

Noisy, dirty and unfinished

This hotel has only been part-renovated and we were staying in one of the older rooms. Cold, draughty, and incredibly noisy. Had to ask twice to have our bathroom cleaned when we arrived - it was in a disgusting state. Staff were incredibly rude about this. Kept awake every night by slamming doors, people shouting in the corridors and the general noise of the building. I wouldn't recommend it if you want sleep! Won't be visiting again.

Excellent location, very clean and well kept hotel

Easy check in process.
Very clean and tidy reception area, which carried on along the corridors and the room.
All of the staff speak good English and German but if you have detailed issues then it can be a little tricky.
We arrived on the 01st of April and the hotel was very quiet but by the 06th a lot more had arrived and entertainment was beginning to start.
The pool and sea at this time of year are too cold to use but we had great weather.

First impression are fantastic, hotel reception immaculate including pool/bar area
I was extremely disappointed in our rooms compared to other h10 hotels I also found the images of the rooms misleading as they are the suprior rooms.
Hotel staff are amazing

Good location. The food could be better.

The hotel is in a Good location opposite the beach. We had to go to the hotel round the corner if we wanted to organise days out to the aquamarine centre. The receptionist advised they no longer did tickets, she could have told us where to arrange these tickets, but we found a range of days out in the don Jaime hotel. The food was a bit samey. A Mexican food day or Spanish food day would have made a difference, they did do paella on two days. After biting into fried chicken, blood dripped out which put me off eating other meat in there for the rest of the week. when we arrived we had 6 items of baggage due to having a 5 month old with us. We asked if there was anyone to help us take it to our room. The receptionist said we don't do that. Two coffees were 4.80 euros. We were half board so no drinks included, they are not an all inclusive hotel. As we booked through expedia and didn't arrive with a coach party, we didn't get a welcome drink. Overall this hotel was ok for the money. But I do think the chefs needs to go back to cookery school.

Nice autumn break

The hotel was lovely, the staff where always happy to help and were friendly. The rooftop area with infinity pool was lovely although people were quick to reserve them even though the hotel asked guests not too. The only small quibble would be the gym next to the spa, an exercise bike, treadmill and multi function weight machine isn't really a gym! A larger gym would be great!

The hotel location is superb, the beach is just across the road and while being close to the strip for evening entertainment wise, it's also far enough away for the noise and people not to be a nuisance. All in all we all had an very enjoyable stay.

Conveniently located

We were on a tennis camp so I was happy with the location and choice of hotel. The room I was initially given was terrible but after they sorted that out, I was more comfortable. Food was good, service was good but the room cleaning was not good. The only thing they did for the 4 nights was to do up my bed. The rubbish was taken out daily, the counters were not cleaned and the room not mopped each day. Other than that, I will come back.

Beautiful hotel in good place

This september we satyed at this hotel for one week. The hotel is very beautiful, staff very professional and kind, rooms very clean and comfortable, good position in Santa Ponsa, Over all lots of positives and only one bad score Swimming pool not very clean. Finaly I will go back to this hotel and other H10 hotels.

Nice hotel in perfect location

The hotel was very nice and is in a perfect location. There are many shops and restaurants a short walk from the hotel and the beach is directly opposite. Part of the hotel has been renovated and it looks clean, modern and tasteful. The older parts of the hotel are still perfectly adequate. Our room was right next to the lift and stairwells so it was very noisy for us throughout the day and night, if we had a room further down the corridor I imagine our stay would have been alot more peaceful. We also found that people reserved the sunbeds by the rooftop pool from very early in the morning by leaving their towels on the beds even though they werent using them yet which made it nearly impossible to get a nice sunbed up there. It would be nice if reserving sunbeds was banned so everyone had a fair chance at getting one. Communal toilets in the reception and pool areas could do with more regular monitoring as they were often a bit messy and run out of toilet paper or soap. All in all the hotel was very pleasant and I would return but I think some attention needs to be paid to the finer details in order to live up to the 4 star rating, for example, better sound proofing in rooms, banning of sunbed reservation, closer monitoring of communal facilities and areas to ensure everything is in order for guests.

Bar service not brilliant but adequate
Lovely clean rooms fresh towels daily
Small gym nice sauna and steam room

Only negative, freezing pool, (inside pool also) which at the end of the summer and considering the sun is on it all day isn't good

Lovely hotel, great location.

Had a lovely time, hotel was very good, only down side was the shower in our room was not the best, and shower screen didnt have a seal on the bottom, we ended up with lots of water on the floor, wardrobe doors jamming, causing frustration!!! Breakfast was excellent.
