Enjoyed my stay,but being on the first floor with a view of the neighbouring apartment block was a little disappointing.
Also the bar wasn’t open and breakfast served at the restaurant over the road was a hit or miss.

Does job for just a bedroom and shower..

Friendly staff during stay but if you value comfort then it's not for you. I wish we'd stayed elsewhere - walls paper thin, doors all slam closed, beds rock solid. Also nearly tripped down the step from the bathroom, who designed that? Parking also very difficult - 500m away lucky to get road side parking or free parking. Sea view, barely.

If you're just after a bedroom and shower then it does the job. If you value some comfort and noise suppression, look elsewhere.

It served a purpose …..badly needs to be modernised and painted! The location was ideal and as a solo traveller it was a quiet location and suited my needs.
The room was single occupancy with a sea view, only view I had was a little bit of sea and a block of apartments which I could see straight into..
Twin beds in the room which was very uncomfortable even thought it stated there was a double bed for single occupancy!
Breakfast across the road was terrible and the steps down to it were filthy.
The pool area could do with a good clean up.
Only staff I saw was one on reception, one cleaner plus 2 in the breakfast area!
No problems with the air con, plenty hot water and fresh towels!

Website is overly complimentary as to the size and location of the pool and general condition of the hotel which was very tired with poor facilities with the room. Staff worked hard within limitations of the building.

Landed late and arrived at the hotel around 1am. We were welcomed by a night receptionist called Nick. We were really tired so Nick managed to check us in no time and while doing it he explained about all hotel facilities, the things to do in the area in detail, literally everything that we wanted to know. Once checked in, without even asking he helped us with the luggage and came with us all the way to the room to make sure everything was ok. Hats off to Nick for the great welcoming and all the help from him! 5 star service!
Our stay at the hotel was great! Nice and quiet place, really clean and organised. Housekeeping lady Elena was also looking after the guests really well ensuring everything was spotless clean. I was surprised when I went to our room after breakfast and found all my t-shirts that were all over the room neatly folded neatly. 5 star service in a 3 star hotel.
Breakfast was as you would expect for a 3/4 star hotel, variety of food and desserts. Couldn't complaint at all.
Swimming pool was really clean and looked after. During the day there is a bar so food and drinks were not missed. Location is great, 3-4 min walk and you are the beach which is surrounded by shops and restaurants.
Front office staff during the day was polite, but they didn't speak much English which wasn't great as it was a bit difficult to communicate.
I would highly recommend this hotel and the area in general!

Hotel was very nice and clean and staffs were very friendly. The only thing that really bothered and let us down was the WiFi at the hotel. So many cut offs. I was in the middle of something and it just stopped. The WiFi is weak. That really let me down.

Stayed here as most hotels closed for the season. Room was clean, aircon/heating unit a bit noisy. Bathroom clean with plenty of towels. Breakfast served across the street was fair. Everything you would expect from a 3 star out of season.

Cute balconies overlooking the sea. 24 hour check in. Breakfast was free! Temperature in the room was quite cold especially since it was a January visit but there was 2 extra blankets in the room to help.

First stay but won't be the last

This was our 4th visit to Santa Ponsa and this was the best accommodation we'd stayed in. Great location for the places we wanted. Quiet hotel on the quieter side of Santa Ponsa. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I requested a sea view room as it was a birthday break and we were allocated room 512 on the top floor with a huge sun terrace. On the actual birthday we received a bottle of bubbly which was a nice touch. Lovely breakfast each day. Would definitely return and highly recommend.

This was an OK hotel but honestly, everything was very small. The room itself was small, the pool and the area around it was very small. The bathroom was also small. There was no fridge in the room by default which is silly because it's 30 outside and you want to keep drinks. The fridge was admittedly available to rent, but this is a silly situation to be in. The number of power outlets in the room was exactly TWO and they were positioned very uncomfortably — one was high up at the TV level, the other was right at the back of the bed (who came up with that design?).

Excellent Hotel - Great Location

We met at this hotel in 1987 and always said that we would return one day. We emigrated to Australia in 2010 and thought we would never return, but a trip back to the UK to visit family we booked a 5 day break here.

It has been kept immaculate and it brought back many fond memories.

The staff were very friendly, the hotel and room very clean and the breakfast was fresh and a lot of variety provided.

It is very close to the beach and everything is within walking distance.

I would recommend this hotel to couples, not much for younger children.

Just returned from a 10 night stay at the Playas Del Rey. For the price we paid to stay at the hotel, I can’t really complain about anything. The rooms were basic but clean and tidy, bed was really comfortable. The hotel basis is bed and breakfast, which is sufficient enough with plenty of options to choose from. The pool area was the highlight of the hotel for me. Really good sized pool and plenty of beds surrounding but you needed to be up pretty early to get a good spot around the pool. The pool was in the sun most of the day, however there was a period of about an hour each afternoon where the sun was blocked and the pool was in the shade. We didn’t find this to be an issue though, it was actually really nice to get a break from the sun! Overall, the staff were great and couldn’t be more helpful. If we were to go back to Santa Ponsa, I wouldn’t hesitate to re-book at this hotel 😁

Staff fantastic. Hotel well situated for ‘the strip’. Parking available (at a cost). Pool a little on small side and doesn’t really get the sun; but the beach is across the road and there is “The Watering Hole” a bar/restaurant with pool available locally. Only downside was we booked a family room - this was advertised as a double room with double sofa bed. What we got was a standard room with another bed squeezed in. As my wife was travelling with a broken leg this was especially awkward

Nice hotel in great location for santa ponsa. Good pool, beach nearby(4.5 euro per day sunbed hire). Buses nearby. Host of bars and restaurants on same road as hotel. A very pleasant stay.

Great hotel close to the beach

It was very nice, breakfast was edible and filling however they don't have many vegetarian or vegan options. We did start to get ants wondering around in or bathroom and wardrobe however apart front that the hotel was immaculate. Had a mini fridge, comfy double bed, decent sized bathroom, nice balcony view and the maids come and fix your room for you. I'd highly suggest this hotel to anyone to be honest. Great experience

Außen pfui, innen auch! Schimmelbefall lässt grüßen. Ich musste das Zimmer deshalb wechseln und bin selbst nach dem Wechsel am nächsten Tag ausgecheckt. An der Decke meines Zimmers war überall starker Schimmelbefall. In die Ecken durfte man generell nicht schauen, sehr sauber war's nicht. Die Toilette und das Bad an sich war ganz in Ordnung, allerdings hat man sich im gesamten Zimmer so unwohl gefühlt, dass ich am zweiten Tag direkt wieder ausgecheckt habe, weil es echt gar nicht ging. Aufgrund meiner Beschwerde hab ich umgehend ein neues Zimmer erhalten, der Mitarbeiter war äußerst nett und hat sich meiner Beschwerde umgehend angenommen. Das ist allerdings auch das einzig positive, was ich über das Hotel berichten kann. Das Frühstück findet man in einem nahe gelegenen Restaurant, das offenbar zum Hotel gehört. Hier war es so arschkalt, dass die Leute tatsächlich mit einer dicken Jacke am Tisch saßen. Auch war es so dunkel, weil kein Licht an war, das war alles andere als ein toller Start in den Tag und zum Teil eins der schlechtesten Frühstücksbuffet, dass ich an einem Buffet vorgefunden habe. Die Auswahl an sich war eigentlich in Ordnung, allerdings war kaum etwas genießbar und auch die Optik war hier nicht wirklich vorhanden. Alles war lieblos einfach nur irgendwo hingestellt und zum Teil wurde gar nicht abgeräumt. Der Dreck blieb einfach stehen, es war wirklich nicht schön. Der Herr an der Rezeption war tatsächlich sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Das Hotel ist ein \"Billighotel\" ohne jeglichen Charme, eben \"LowCost\". Für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt weniger geeignet. Zum Frühstück muss man außer Haus in ein dazugehöriges Restaurant, das mit wenig Personal, dann einen morgentlichen Ansturm an Gästen bewältigen muss, was zu Frust, weil man keinen sauberen Tisch findet, führt. Von Gemütlichkeit keine Spur. Dieses Hotel kann man eigentlich niemandem empfehlen

Zimmer war alt eingerichtet aber sehr sauber. Leider nur ein Bettlaken als Decke. Dies ist im Winter ziemlich kalt. Frühstück im gegenüber liegenden Restaurant ist in Ordnung. Lage ist super und in der Nähe gibt es einen großen kostenfreien Parkplatz.

À part la vue qui était magnifique, notre expérience a été très décevante. Le personnel s’est montré désagréable et peu accueillant. Le petit déjeuner était d’une qualité médiocre, probablement le pire que nous ayons eu à Majorque. Nous regrettons sincèrement l’argent dépensé dans cet hôtel : nous avons séjourné dans des établissements bien moins chers qui étaient largement supérieurs sur tous les aspects. Nous n’y retournerons jamais.\"

Estado de las camas lamentable, muy viejas y ruidosas. Solicitamos cambio y no nos hicieron caso, tampoco habían atendido nuestra petición al reservar de cama de matrimonio.
Muy viejo y nada actualizado.
Un jabón y dos rollos de papel higiénico como todo servicio.
No a la altura de las estrellas que ofrece.
Lo mejor el recepcionista de noche, simpático y amable.

L’hôtel n’est pas tout à fais neuf. Mais il reste raisonnable très très bien situé! A proximité restaurant plage il y avait même une fete foraine le soir.
Ils ne proposent pas de parking même si c’est ecris 15€ par nuit mais il y a un grand parking à 5-10 minutes à pieds.

Bra hotell med tanke på priset. Vi hade dock 2 nätter otur med grannarna som hördes genom de tunna väggarna. Bra enkel engelsk frukost i restaurangen mitt över gatan. Fin utsikt från balkongen.
