The hotel room was clean but very dated. Amenities including tv, toilet facilities and fridge, all needed updated or repaired. The staff at the hotel were fabulous

It looked good from the outside. But it’s on the lower end, at least our room was. They didn’t have hotel shoes so we had to use the ones from the other hotel. The walls are thin, you could hear the neighbours coughing, suitcases passing the hall all the time!

Okay so the resort itself wasn't bad. The only trouble I had was the payment dispute. Expedia had sold me a different amount to what I had to pay at the property. If you choose this hotel avoid the pay at property option !

The hotel staff were excellent and friendly, communicative, and helpful from check-in to the restaurant service. However, I’ve stayed at several all-inclusive resorts in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Jamaica, and I wouldn’t consider this one fully all-inclusive.

Cocktails were premixed, and there was an extra charge for well drinks, snacks like chips and candy, which I found unusual for this kind of resort. The main restaurant only served three meals a day, and taking food outside the dining area wasn’t allowed.

The pools were open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and unfortunately, the beach umbrellas were limited to the pool area—not the beach itself. Entertainment also left room for improvement; when performers spoke or sang on stage, it was hard to hear from the nearby pool.

The price was reasonable, but overall, I may consider exploring other options.

Fantastic hotel for a family holiday!

Just returned from a lovely few days at this hotel. I chose the all inclusive option for me and my daughter and my family met us there. The buffet food was delicious and fresh if a little repetitive. Would have been nice to have a bit of variety especially in the dessert options and more options for children as there were mainly families there. I can’t get over how friendly the staff are here. From the bar staff to the wait staff everyone has a smile on their face and makes an effort to engage you and the children in conversation. The entertainment was great for the children too and my niece was really taken with the entertainment staff and the kids club. While it isn’t the most polished hotel the extras such as a playground, three miniature ponies and a veg patch for children to engage with were amazing! The rooms are a little tired and could use a refresh but that said, we’d definitely return! I would suggest that they should add mirrors to the rooms and provide plastic cutlery and plates for children.

The staff are the star of the show at this hotel. Always so attentive and enthusiastic! When we checked in the staff were lovely, when we go to eat always a welcoming smile and when we joined fitness classes they had such knowledge and provided an encouraging atmosphere. Staff at the restaurant were always working hard, chatting with customers, clearing tables, cleaning spills and replenishing food. The pool area could be an issue for families wanting to sit together as the classic British holiday culture of reserving sun beds is in full effect, no worries for us as a short scenic walk away were some out of the way quiet beaches which we prefer anyway. I understand why there was no more sunbeds put in the main area as they use the space for entertainment. Which is great! Always something new and engaging for children and adults alike. I really enjoyed the food at the hotel! Plenty of salads and tasty vegetables which we loved. Considering we were there for a week, everyday I found something easily to eat and enjoy. Fish was great too. Goofy and lolo were the names I’ve remembered (sorry I couldn’t name anymore, everyone was great) who had great energy and enthusiasm and truly worked so hard. We had a great room location overlooking the sea and our room was very spacious, the AC did make a noise but did the job! The decor and general upkeep of the areas such as hallways, stairs and lifts could be updated but hardly a complaint. Thank you to the team, they deserve a pay rise!

Good for cheap family get away

Mixed thoughts really ..

The all inclusive is very limiting. There’s just one restaurant which is very much quantity over quality. The included drinks are not the best, so we ended spending more to get brand names.

Okay for a cheap family week, but not really a couples hotel.

Very expensive for what you get

We arrived at 3:00 in the morning and had to drive around the block 3 times to find parking as there is no parking at the hotel. We booked a family room that stated there were 4 single beds. There were only 2 and a sofa. We then had to make up the sofa bed and the pull out camper bed ourselves. However, there was no spare bed linen so we had to wait for the night receptionist to bring it up. We then had to make them up ourselves. Breakfast is a strange affair. The hotel is used for package holidays so it was always really busy. The choice of breakfast was good but the cooked breakfast was largely inedible. There were 2 pools but it was too cold to swim in the main pool and the heated pool was very small! Plus they were only open 10:00 - 18:00 so no chance for a prebreakfast swim. The private beach was covered in seaweed do not very desireable. We didn't use any of the entertainment or children's clubs. We did want to hire bikes, but at €9 per bike for 4 hours for a family of four we decided against it!

Fergus style Cala Blanca Suites

We stayed in a Superior room which was located across from the main building. We had a pool and seaview and a free restockable soft drinks mini bar. The room was very clean with daily maid service and the bonus was a kettle in the room even although we were All Inclusive. The staff were very happy and welcoming especially in the restaurant. The food was roasting hot with plenty of choice. The restaurant was pleasant but there was also a side part just for adults which appealed to us in the evening. The hotel is located on a really nice beach Bay although it is very rocky underfoot so we didn’t go in the sea. The view is nice and you can lounge at the pool or on the sand. The entertainment looked fine and there’s a few bars, shops and restaurants within a few minutes walking distance. This is a really lovely hotel for those happy to relax and enjoy the hotels facilities in a nice quiet location.

Kid friendly hotel next to the ocean!

Very kid friendly hotel next to the ocean, no real sand beach although the pictures show sandy beach. The walls are thin and can hear everything that goes on in the other rooms. I would rate this hotel a 3 at best. It's definitely not a 4-star hotel

Hotel was really good with excellent food and friendly staff where nothing was to much trouble. The beach looked as if it had been washed away and not replaced, which was a shame as I like to go to the beach whilst on holiday.

This is the second time we have used this hotel and like it a lot but we won't be going all inc again mainly because of bar staff issues,however rest of staff are very friendly food is excellent with clean rooms and in a good position

what a wonderful hotel. extremely friendly staff. Excellent choice of food which changes daily. Lovely suite with great views. Caters perfectly for adults with and without children. Good location and close to everything. would highly recommend to anyone. We arrived at 1-30 a.m. and they had left in our room a supper of salad and meats with fruit and bread. Very thoughtful.

Comfortable hotel best suited to families

The hotel looks a bit tired but has excellent facilities for children. More suited to families as opposed to couples. The food is very well presented but we found the it tasted bland. The fish dishes were over-cooked, which is a pity as they would have been very good otherwise.

Nice hotel, but beware of overbooking

Booked this hotel on its reviews, but on arrival, met another couple returning after 2 nights away due to overbooking. We were then also told it was overbooked and that we would need to spend 1 night in an alternative. This maybe a result of electing to pay at hotel rather than in advance, as understandably, they don't want no shows, but the alternative hotel was on the outskirts of Magaluf and although that hotel was very nice, it was an area we had intended to avoid.
We were upgraded as a result of our night away from B&B to All Inc, plus having free use of safe. Taxi's &1st night meal were at no cost.
Overall, this Fergus hotel is very nice and quiet, with good friendly staff, clean rooms, facilities and good selection of food. Only minor gripes are that the bathroom has the space for a bidet, but one is not fitted and that some of the rooms facing the front can suffer from traffic noise, mainly due to coaches stopping at the hotel, as it is in a cleft and the road is above. Originally, an Apart hotel, the recent refurbishment has converted the Kitchenette into a large wardrobe room and I believe further upgrading will take place over the winter of 2014/15.
Finally, the local area is suffering somewhat from the trend of the local hotels(as elsewhere), go All Inclusive. The main resort is only a short walk away.

Lovely hotel set in own little cove

Spent 5 lovely days here, food absolutely spot on, spotlessly clean hotel. The staff were fantastic, especially Eva who made our stay special, so very friendly and helpful, the bar staff Castro in particular and Lorenzo in the restaurant were very professional and did their best to make sure we had everything we needed. Eva arranged for an upgrade to our room and went out of her way to make sure we had a brilliant holiday, will be going back next year for definite, fabulous hotel.

A real treat!

We had a really lovely holiday at this hotel. It is stylish, well kept and immaculately clean in all areas. The hotel is around a fifteen minute walk from the centre of Santa Ponsa and the main beach, but within close proximity to local bars, shops and restaurants. We have three children, age 3, 5 and 13 and the walk was pleasant, if a little hilly on the way back. The hilltop location of the hotel means you are greeted with stunning views of the sea and surrounding area and the sunset on an evening is beautiful.
Our room was cleaned every day without fail and was comfortable and well-equipped with hairdryer, fridge and air-conditioning. Plenty of room for a family of five, with a lovely balcony and sea-view.

We went all-inclusive and were treated to a vast array of food options, including at least three types of meat, fish, pasta and Spanish dishes (Paella etc) finger foods and not to mention the fresh fruit and wide variety of desserts every day. We were offered good quality wine, beer or water at evening meals and there is unlimited amounts of Coke, Sprite or Fanta in addition. At the bar, real brand drinks are served (in plentiful measures!!!) and the service is good. We have been truly spoilt!

The children's entertainer, Nadia is wonderful and made our children's holiday very memorable. They, like us, were very sad to leave. It is early season, so adult entertainment hasn't really taken off, but there is an outdoor stage with ample seating area, so later in the season, there will be more to keep adults amused. it was so relaxing sitting on the patio, cocktail in hand, looking out to the sea, with the gorgeous Mallorcan sun on our skin. The views really are spectacular.

My children loved spending time a the hotel pool, which was always clean. There are gentle water slides and a whole pool just for children, so toddlers can paddle safely. Never had any problems getting loungers, but might get busy in high season as this hotel will be popular.

I have given the location 4 out of 5, due to its hilly location. It was never a problem for us as we enjoy walking, but may be for anyone with mobility problems. We hired a car and visited Alcudia, Palma, Palma Nova, Magalluf, Portals Nous and Puerto Pollensa. The children enjoyed playing in the hotel playground and there is table tennis and nets for football. The children will love the hotel's resident pony and the kids' club. Every night there is a mini-disco. It really is geared towards families and there is a good mix of nationalities, with pretty much all staff being able to speak English. We were made to feel very welcome and the staff are all friendly and helpful.

I hope this review helps - we would certainly go back!

Perfect for young children

We booked the holiday on Friday and flew on the following Thursday so we got a fantastic b&b deal. Very good value for money, the room was lovely, new and clean. We could have done with a small kitchen area for preparing babies' milk and washing bottles etc. but we improvised. The breakfast buffet was great and kept us full all day. The walk in closet area was so big we put the travel cot in it and made it a separate bedroom for our 1 year old. The pool area for children has 4 water slides and is super shallow so we were able to relax whilst our little one splashed around for hours. The private beach meant we had the option to go digging in the sand too. It's a good 10 min walk to the main resort but a taxi is only €3.50 if you are feeling lazy. Overall a very good option with children especially out of season when it was quiet but still hot enough to sunbathe.

We would go back

The hotel had everything we needed :-) we had a great week and would go back. The kids pool has great slides and is a good size. The main pool is cold but great for a cool down.
The food was very tasty with lots of options available. It did tend to be a bit repetitive but you can't complain about the quality.
The staff were always friendly and we were well looked after.
The kids all love the mini club staff.
Our son had a ball at the activities he joined in with, especially the pool games and mini disco.
Lots and lots of fun.

Lovely hotel with private beach

Probably the cleanest hotel we have stayed in. The staff were very friendly and all seemed to genuinley enjoy working at the hotel. Food was excellent, always freshly prepared and a very good selection. Pool area very clean and tidy. Beds were extremely comfortable. All in all a great experience.

Lovely hotel, very clean, staff polite and friendly. Excellent food and drink (all inclusive).Rooms very spacious and stylish.

Downside - it is a great family hotel but not good for couples/groups without children,. Entertainment awful!! like a kids club session on the stage - such a waste, on the one night there was a tribute act it was good.

Sun bed wars! Not enough for all the guests and the pool is way too small for the number of guests. No sunbeds available after 7am and common to find your stuff moved and someone occupying your bed if you went for a dip or ventured to the pool bar. Needs sorting out as saw lots of disagreements.

Bien localisé, l'hôtel est dans l'ensemble bien entretenu cependant certains détails laissent apparaître son côté vieillissant ce qui est dommage : .rideau décroché, accroche serviette cassé, sèche cheveux rouillé La vue de notre chambre était superbe pour apprécier les couchers de soleil. Le point noir est la salle de bain, sans aération et très vite embuée et humide longtemps. Une poubelle en o'us que la petite de la salle de bains serait appréciable. L'accueil et le service sont excellents, tout est fait pour être satisfait. Les repas sont bons dans l'ensemble. L'accès au solarium est payant :20 euros par chambre, l'accès inclus dans les chambres supérieures 1 fois par sejour pourrait etre plus juste. La petite plage offre une jolie vue mais non adaptée à la baignade., mais il y avait beaucoup de vent lors de notre séjour.

Fantastisk personale og service døgnet rundt! Altid smil og godt humør blandt personalet og i receptionen gjorde de alt for at hjælpe med hvad der var behov for! Der kunne bruges mere tid på god lyd og musik/underholdning der også når voksne mennesker - der var meget fokus på småbørnsfamilier, hvilket er ok, men en god balance ville være fin!
Fantastisk varieret mad både morgen, middag og aften - intet mindre end fantastisk at have all inclusive på dette sted!!!

Pas de plage et trop trop bruillant

La plage n'existe plus du tout. Les conduites d'égouts sont persées et ça ne sent pas bon.
Tout le littoral est envailli d'une couche de 50 cm d'algues en décomposition.
La scène pour la Mini Disco des petits ou des spectacles en général est dehors, toutes les chambres donnant sur les minuscules piscines profitent du bruit jusque minuit.
La cafétéria est assourdissante. Le soir il faut faire la queue pour accéder au self.

Tres belle experience dans un tres tres bel hotel!
Personnel accueillant, à l'ecoute et toujours souriant!
Bon emplacement de l'hotel! Et on mange bieen labas!!
Seul petit inconvenient, si votre chambre se trouve pres de l'espace loisir, vous serez embetté le matin avec le bruit du ping-pong etc .. Sinon Franchement rien à dire!! je recommande vivement!!

Bra hotell m otrolig utsikt men vissa brister

Fint hotell som framför allt lever upp med sin fina fasad och härliga utomhusområde. Till exempel takterassen på ena byggnaden där bara +18 får vistas. Otroligt vacker utsikt! Rummen var ok men inget överflöd. Det som drar ner mitt betyg lite grann är att wifi var uruselt. Ca 0,8 MBit/s i receptionen och på rummet (vi bodde två våningar upp) funkade det inte alls, varken med tfn eller dator. Då detta var ett av mina kriterier när jag bokade var jag besviken på detta. Hittade en superbra restaurang ett par hundra meter bort som heter El Vivo som hade bra uppkoppling där jag kunde göra mina arbetsuppgifter. Kom också ihåg att detta är ett charterhotell för tyskar, engelsmän och fransmän.

Hotel accueillant, bonne restauration sauf desserts. Diner oublie le soir de notre arrivee malgre mail d avertissement, mais la direction a offert les boissons des autres diners en compensation donc attitude tres correcte.
Chaises longues de piscine en nombre insuffisant sauf si on se leve tot pour aller en reserver une.
Tres jolie crique et bcp plus calme que la piscine.
Solarium avec jacuzzi tres agreable et reposant.
Dommage qu il n y ait pas une salle de sport.

Dejlig beliggenhed med havudsigt. . Gode værelser. God buffet.
Ulemper: Den private badestrand der annonceres med er ikke anvendelig. Den indendørs pool var under reparation og lukket. Ingen skiltning - måtte gå forgæves flere gange. Fik oplysning i reception. Fra morgen til sen aften dunker høj musik ud over hele hotelområdet fra centralt placerede højtalere. All Inclusive var ikke alt inkludferet. Der var flere undtagelser bl.a spiritus, snacks fra bar osv.
Personalet , med ganske få undtagelser ( bla rengøringsdame ) var uinteresserede i gæsterne. Hilste ikke hverken goddag eller farvel - så lige igennem folk. Var fortravlede og spec den del nederst i restaurant ( ud mod poolområdet ) virkede til at ha dårlig kemi mellem de ansatte. ( Lille emsig \" overtjener \" hersede med de øvrige ) Afstedkom dårlig/trykket stemning. Ingen smil.
