Clean room and friendly staff. Room was large and beds were comfortable. Location is convenient to trains and trams, but not a good place for restaurants or walking. Room service food was terrible. Weekend price was very very high ($999/night) so not good value for those days.

Road noise was loud, beds were uncomfortable and bathrooms not very clean. Check in staff were not very welcoming. Paid for my room then an additional $50 put on hold, charging me an additional unnecessary surcharge.

Loved the hotel, position, room very comfortable. I loved the vibe of the hotel . Whilst the room was clean the housekeeping was very average. Coffee cups not washed up, cleaning rag left in sink dry and not used. Also the cleaner needs to use deodorant as the body odour was offensive. We had a sandwich when we arrived back from the tennis and it was dry and mostly uneatable. In saying that I would definitely stay with you again as the positives far outweighed the negatives that can be fixed with staff training.

Small rooms. We checked in late at night, and systems were down, so it wasn't a smooth check in. during the stay, the alarms went off several times, which was NOT pleasant at all. Not a great stay and definitely not great for family stays IMO - Rooms are too small. Couple would be fine.

Two rooms were booked for business trip. One of the rooms kept having problems with the AC being not working for at least four nights out of the five nights. The same room had problem with the phone and did not replace despite the hotel agreed to do the replacement. Upon checking out, the front staff worked very slow, allowing many luggages left for storage and pickup later by guests being scattered at the lobby, causing risk of them being stolen. The breakfast buffet included in the room rate was lovely.

The room was clean & overall lovely as it was a car room & the window views were lovely. Trouble is the noise from outside even with being on floor 3 the cars and general noises outside were so relevant. The fridge had milk in it but nothing else no water no cans of drink nothing. I rang room service but no answer so rang reception as was wanting to order a glass of wine. They said it was an extra $5 to bring it up to the room so I said I would come down and get it & they said to go to the bar area and it will be ready for you. I waited and waited as no one at the bar so I went to the reception area and finally someone came back to the bar and then they were giving me a bottle and I said no a glass! Later that night I ordered room service and there was no problem there. The creme brûlée was Devine and I could have eaten three of them. I must say though before I even stayed at the Hotel Indigo in Melbourne City I had sent messages to them to ask about parking and the fact I need to be able to get into the room before 3pm as the wedding I had to attend was 4.30pm a block away in the city but no-one ever came back to me regarding this & no-one helped me to attend the wedding on time. The story gets worse and I did not make the wedding as I am disabled and it was horrific what happened to me on the way to the wedding. Other than all of this the hotel room was lovely and clean and comfortable. Had to ask for a hair dryer though as it was missing .

This is a great option for families.
The staff were really lovely and helpful, going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.
Parking was convenient, just across the road from the hotel.
We went to a game at Marvel stadium with our family & it was an easy walk from the hotel.
Also a great location to explore the city.
Rooms were clean, well kept & quiet.

The Hotel is in a great location, close to Trams going in four directions. Easy walk to the Casino and restaurants. Room was great apart from the bathroom light shining through to the bedroom like a beacon when you went to the toilet. Comfortable, clean and trendy. The team were always helpful. All reception and restaurant staff are amazing! Very friendly and professional. Thank you to all of them. The property is in a convenient location with lots of restaurants and public transport including free tram close by.

The only negative comment we have is on the property maintenance. The lobby and restaurant areas are good however rooms need more upkeep and cleaning. The aircon dripped the whole time in our room and I also spotted cockroaches in the bathroom. All 3 of us also got itchy, painful rash, don’t know what is it from.

Regardless, it was a good stay thanks to all the staff.

We were greeted by Vid (If I got the name correct) and the another gentleman at the reception who were super courteous and helpful. We requested for a city view if possible and was accepted graciously. Check-in and parking was a breeze and the room and bathroom were clean and I was pleasantly surprised to find all the amenities in our room including iron board and slippers. We had initially planned to stay for a night with family but ended up extending our stay by another day due to being close to all shopping (DFO included) and dining options close by. The tram station was just across the block which made it super easy to visit the Mall and Restaurants on Burke street. Would highly recommend this Hotel to all visitors.

Quite a find! There aren't many hotels in Melbourne with character, most feel like you are on a business trip. Attentive service, great breakfast, and really lovely room. We were in 315, king premiumroom which looked out into the tree canopy, you would hardly know you were in the city. Spotlessly clean, comfy bed and pillows. Would definitely stay again

Wonderful hotel! Perfect for what we needed; a night in the city to take the kids to the Big Bash (which was walking distance to Marvel Stadium with a 5 and 10 year old). This hotel has a unique decor that transports you back to the 60's in a brand new building.
