The room appears suitable for short stays. However, the bathroom did not include body soap, only two shampoos and a conditioner. The bed sheets, though ironed, were slightly burned and felt rough.

Additionally, a member of the cleaning staff entered the elevator and abruptly stepped in front of me to tap her access card for another floor. As I was exiting, I had to move back and step out to allow space, as she did not move aside. When I turned around, she directed an unacceptable stare toward me. This interaction was unprofessional and not in keeping with the standard of courtesy I would expect toward a guest.

Room not ready when arrived. Not a problem with that as we were early. But when came back after check in time virtually asked to do check in again. Nice room but bathroom could use some TLC. Mould in shower along seals and lots grout in shower. Sink was very grotty also. Tap too large in sink also making space to clean teeth difficult. Could also do with some Australian based snacks in room to purchase as all seemed Asian based.

What stood out was I specifically stated I had an allergy to down and to not have any down pillows. Guess what yep a down pillow was on the bed. We checked in late so I put it in the closet. The next day, I handed it to the housekeeper and specifically stated no down pillows in the room. When we came back to the room that night, the down pillow was back again. This time I tossed it out into the hall and called the front desk. Secondly, there was a long bench at the end of the bed and the first night. I stumbled over it so we moved it to the side. Housekeeping moved it back to the end of the bed, not once but twice. We had to put a note on it to tell them not to put it back. Neither of those things should’ve happened. We did speak to the front desk and they were very apologetic, but at that point it was moot.

Staff upon check in did not provide good customer service. They did not inform/notify us even though our room was already ready, they said they would and even saw us waiting at lobby for hours. The staff checking us in spoke too quickly and didn't provide checkin information properly, out booking came with complimentary wine but she did not even give this either. Terrible customer service experience from this staff, who made it obvious she is not in the mood to talk with customers.

The staff were very helpful.

The preoccupation of the hotel with data mining and extracting personal details, excessively invasive check in requirements (that saved no time), determined avoidance of personal contact, online checkin when standing at reception were all aspects that detracted substantially from the appeal. I didn't stay there as a part of a marketing exercise, even if that is what the hotel management think.

The room was dirty with nail clippings on the floor, a safety pin sticking up from the carpet, what looked like dried blood on the quilt, dusty curtains, hair on the furniture.
The bed was uncomfortable and the walls would shake whenever a neighbouring door was closed.

There wasn’t any major issues, just a series of small frustrations that all added up to a less than desirable experience. Confirmed on check-in that we were in a twin room, when we got to the room, it was set up as a King and had to wait for them to come and rearrange. Credit card wouldn’t work at check-in, found out later that charge is going through as international which is blocked on our card, they didn’t tell us it’s being processed as an international transaction. Ordered room service through the link they provided to us, called reception 25 mins later to be told the restaurant was closed (supposed to be 24 hour room service), not notified that this was going to be the case on either booking or check in. When checking out, found that we had been charged an international fee through the bank due to the charge going offshore. Received an apology but staff and manager claimed that they knew nothing about this, thanked us for bringing it to their attention and said they would investigate. They then proceeded to not advise anyone else checking in while we were sitting in the lobby.

We would stay again but a good deep clean of shower wouldn't go astray & prompt response of housekeeping would be appreciated when an issue was raised before 5pm & wasn't resolved before 11.30pm despite being re-raised at 11pm.. .. reception staff tried their best to deal with it.

Then we were going to the roof top bar for happy hour to find it closed for a event which we hadn’t been informed of, so had to go to the restaurant for full price drinks, which half way through we were all ushered out to the street due to a possible fire. Very disappointed with the whole experience to begin with but the staff later made up for it all by not charging us for the $52 drink bill and also gave us free coffees the next morning

Second time staying at the Quincy and honestly… she still slays.

Perfect location — a super quick stroll from Spencer Street Station and an easy wander to Southbank for food, vibes, and a little cute-person-watching.

Staff? Lovely. Rooms? Clean, well-designed, surprisingly spacious, and stocked with all the good amenities. And the place is quiet — like, “sleep like a log after a Melbourne feast” quiet.

Would I return? Absolutely. Already planning Stay #3.

Location & room was lovely. Staff at front desk helpful. The breakfast staff weren’t super nice, there was one guy (I wish I’d gotten his name) but he was Australian and he was so helpful. There was a girl (with septum piercing) who was super unhelpful and rude, couldn’t crack a smile if she tried. So don’t really recommend getting the breakfast buffet. VIP stay inclusions (bottle wine) not provided.

I booked this hotel as a treat for my sister. It was not a 4star experience. The rug in our room was full of crumbs and fluff. Didn't improve through our stay. Cups and glasses not rinsed or cleaned. Tea and coffee not replenished,and no decaf. Beds were singles quite narrow vrey soft. Had to remake them each day. Floor had deep gouges over an area of 1m.

Super poor service from staff, had room service the first night, food was average and cold when arrived, no room service to clean or replenish towels ect apparently at over $250 a night you have to request room cleaning personally, our dishes sat out the front of our room for two days .

My second time here. Delightful interior decor that is clean, and great blockout features, perfect for those who need darkness to sleep. It’s very close to southern cross station and walkable about a slow 10 minutes to the shopping area. I really enjoyed the heated pool because it was heated so well that the warm pool felt like stepping into a warm bath. I also enjoyed the Q rooftop bar which had a nice view of the city. Will stay again for its design, value for money and convenience. If you are Asian, gotta try the breakfast at Salted Egg!

We booked two rooms and the rooms were 6 floors apart. No option to put us closer which was very disappointing. Stains on furniture and carpet, with dirt visible when we opened the curtains.
Breakfast was over priced for the quality of food provided. Tiny teacups, rubbery eggs and barrista made coffee was at an extra cost.
The art work was very nice and close to Crown and public transport. We stayed Saturday night and the street noise and music went most of the night.

Hotel was nice but we booked a queen room that stayed it had a city view, we were on level 4 of 28 and could see flinders lane….
Also their parking isn't onsite secured as stated which we found out. It’s up the road and assoscitaed but fully accessible to the public. The room itself was nice the bed was comfy and the shower was amazing.
