The first impression wasn’t the best.
The room they gave us was not clean and uncomfortable, but the staff took care and upgraded us quickly. The receptionist and velvet staff were great on making the stay very pleasant after all.

The lobby and restaurant look great. The rooms are eh... The first room they put us in had black mold on the head board and the cabinet was falling apart. The second room was much better. Pay attention when booking because very few rooms actually face the beach. Don't get a room close the pool area if you don't like loud music either as they have bands performing at night on the deck. Overall it was good but these were some of the things I was not aware of.

From I got out my car. The staff was awesome and very helpful. The room was beautiful. I opened the door and I was very surprised. I'm disabled and I appreciate front desk being understanding and helpful. I had a wonderful time. I came for one night. The place was so beautiful. Everyone was so joyful and happy. I had to book another room and stay another day. Such a wonderful place for a family and friends together. Enjoy themselves koodles to the front desk. Hope to see you guys again soon ☺️

The staff is amazing, friendly and helpful. Our waitress Ashley go above and beyond. The elevators are malfunctioning, it's need to be fixed. The menu at Longboards had been the same for years, it's time for a review, and it needs a depp clean, the fans, television, and speakers are nasty. There are several beach chairs broken, should be replaced.

Just be like During the stay I was overcharged for an incidental fee as well as authorization fees that were not mentioned to me during the check in process. Although hotel staff mentioned to me that they would return when questioned, they have yet to. Additionally I had two reservations, one made originally and one as an addition to that and with previous communication there was said to be no issue staying in the same room. However, there were multiple alarming knocks at the door at 9:30am as well as 11 a.m from hotel staff a day before our check out date, claiming that we were supposed to check out and that they had to clean the room. I seriously question the communication between employees throughout the hotel, resulting in an unsatisfactory stay.

Water pressure was super low and it took 45 minutes to take a warm bath. We weren’t able to get the water hot. Closet was broken and needed replacement. Air conditioning could use some tuning it was really warm in the middle of the night and because of preset temperatures on gages we couldn’t really drop temperature to our normal. The views and beach were within steps of the hotel which was really nice. Expedia did not inform me of a resort fee so prepare for that during check in which includes valet parking.

The valet parking system leaves alot to be desired, and they have a lot of people that come to the property just for the day so you will be sharing the property with the public. The hotel is dated so you will see that once you step off the elevators. I did like the texting communications with the valet and front desk. The valet was trying there best but it is very awkward pulling in and pulling out often times stuck behind several unoccupied cars.. you would think someone would come up with a better system for this everyday business

Resort was clean and a great price for being right on the beach. The elevators were old and very slow for the amount of people that was there for the weekend. Parking is across a main 6 lane Hwy, making it difficult to access unless you pay the daily parking fee which we were not. The restaurant was pretty good but staff was disorganized big time over Sunday morning and lunch, it was almost like they were not prepared for an influx of guests. The pool closed at 8 every night which my kids hate and if you access the beach they don’t have an area to come back through. Poor communication with guests at check in.

Toilet would not flush had to remove top 4 times in 2 days, smell of bug spray in rooms, door hard to open, the elevator took a long time to open , the valet parking was very slow after 15 min pre call had to wait 15 min for car. Resulting late for a wedding!

This place is old. Lobby looks great and clean. Can't say the same for the rooms. Cleaning personal use the same elevators as visitors and there are only two, that's a problem in the morning. The menu doesn't have a great variety to me if you do not want to leave the property. Beach was great and the employees there were as well

They have a live band by the restraunt at night so be prepared for very loud music. Was on the 7th floor with patio doors closed and there was no way to block the noise. With the tv on normal volume for us was around 12 but trying to hear the tv we had to put it up to around 25 and even then heard the awful music from 7 floors down. The patio doors were double paned but the argon gas was leaked out which is the insulation for heat and sound. You can tell there was no argon gas because the doors were fogging between paynes which means moisture has leaked in. I would say the only thing better with this stay was they updated their tvs to smart tvs si ce the last time i was there

If you planning to get a room first floor with “ocean view “ make sure it’s not room 174 that does not have a ocean room in fact it’s in front of a stage where live music is playing until around 10pm ! Maybe others have a better view but this one definitely don’t .

so what we didn't know when we booked was this is Love Bug Season. Thousands of them in the air. on the exterior walls. at the poo, bar, etc. in the room- our first room, which was located off the pool. had to go through a gauntlet of bugs just to get in- and once in, they were on the floors, bed, walls, bathroom, etc.

Called the front desk- i didnt even have to ask- they said bugs? i said yes. they moved us immediately to an interior room.

otherwise staff was super helpful. they have shuttle that runs easily and got us to and from where we needed to go.

i would stay again. just making sure to book an interior room. or ask about the love bugs.

I had a fantastic experience here. The beach was beautiful and very well-maintained, providing the perfect spot to unwind. I also loved the bar area—the drinks were excellent, and the music created a great atmosphere every night.

The view was the best. Breakfast and staff was excellent. The hotel needs some updating, the floor in the room was buckled from humidity, but overall it was clean and comfortable. And the ocean view was beautiful. Didn't like the fact that I couldn't park myself close to the hotel. Again the staff was excellent especially Jason at the front dest and the breakfast staff. Very good people working there.

Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Had minor issue with lock on balcony door but this issue was resolved very quickly y the maintenance man Eddie, who was very helpful and kind. Valet parking was included in the resort fee., which was very convenient. On the Friday night there was a band playing called Mix Tapes Kids which were excellent a great show right in the outside restaurant. Breakfast was good, freshly made omelettes were very good. Only negative was the lifts which were really slow, luckily we were on 4th floor so could use the stairs most of the time.

Property is dirty, there is no security to walk in the hotel and giving anyone access to the pool, beach and elevators… there was live music and the police was called to remove a random person that was not part pf the hotel.
The hotel and the room was not clean. We travel a lot for work and pleasure, we picked Crown Plaza this time to enjoy beach and pool, but it was very crowded, dirty and uncomfortable. We did not enjoy our staying.

Good location, extremely mixed crowd of people lots of drinkers and smokers…Pool is clean make sure to get out there early. Longboard restaurant food was good just make sure your not by the beach access area lots of smokers hanging out there not everyone wants the second hand smoke especially with the kids. Make sure to check your vehicle before letting valet move definitely have a jiggly mirror now. Really wish you did not have to walk through the restaurant area to go to beach especially while they have the live music. Some of those people should find new hobby’s instead of ruining classic songs…..Would give it another try after the first experience and do things different. Room was clean and comfortable we had a 1 bedroom suite.

This hotel is way too crowded. I think they're overbooking. You have to wait in line when you arrive, and there's no parking. So you have to leave your car parked haphazardly to get your things unloaded. They only give you 10 minutes, and after that, they give you a parking space far away. My husband is disabled, and we had to cross a bridge to get there. To make matters worse, they gave us a room on the 7th floor. Yesterday, this hotel was packed—the pool, the beach, and the bar were overflowing. We came for our anniversary, and we couldn't even have dinner last night. We ended up going down to the restaurant at 8:30, hoping the crowds would thin out a bit, and when we got there, they told us it was full and the kitchen was closed. We went to bed without eating because the car was far away, and it was raining. It's been one of my worst experiences at such an expensive hotel.

Only complaint is the beds are elevated and made it quite difficult to get into bed. We had to borrow a stool so my wife could use the bed.

The room was a disappointment. Be AWARE!!! There is an additional $30 per day “Resort Fee” that is charged to you! They have valet parking only! There is a band playing at the outdoor bar during the day and into the evening. If you are looking for a quiet stay, look elsewhere!

Everything was just perfect. Wish it had an extra beach access. Restaurant food was 8 out of 10. The vip parking was great. There’s a young man that works the 3-11 shift (valet attendant) he was phenomenal, polite and cheerful and always asked how our day is going. He was the short one with lengthy hair. He deserves everything that company has to offer!!!!!

Overall great weekend getaway. My only gripes were the leaky shower faucet that we could hear in the middle of the night once all was quiet, loud ac and sleeping by the sea although relaxing views can be quite loud making for tons of distractions in the middle of the night. Again sounds like neat picking but getting some sleep after long fun day is part of the getaway.

Our window shades were all broken and we couldn't close them all all. Despite all of these issues the staff was nice but the room wasn't what we expected

Filthy room, dirty bathroom, splatter on walls hair in bath tub, bath tub dirty, floor sticky. Had to put towels down on floor , cracked vanity sink
Changed our room type from what we selected and paid for and were sold out so it couldn’t be changed
Staff were very friendly and listened well and understood concern. However the room was still filthy on day two.
View from room was amazing
Hotel right on beach front so that made the stay bearable.
Breakfast was good. Typical breakfast buffet and serving staff were excellent
Didn’t get value for money for quality of product
Hotel rooms very unkempt and needs an overall upgrade or refurbish.
Not 4 or 5 star quality. Would rank it 3 star for quality at best.
Overall tried not to make it ruin the special occasion we were there to celebrate.

Parking is cumbersome as the parking lot is located across the street. If you forget something in the car, you may rethink if you need it. But the valet staff are wonderful.
Lobby and outdoor restaurant were very nice. Pool, beach area very nice as well.
Room was ok.... shower water pressure was very poor and my room had a dehumidifier running 24/7 that was very loud and woke me up several times overnight. Bed was comfortable though. If the room cost was $150 or less per night I would say it was on par for the price but at $250+ per night, I would not stay again.

Enjoyed a night there after being on a cruise and needed to rest before driving back home. Jeanette at the front desk was great! Joe at the pool bar was great! Loved the location of the hotel!
