The location is very convenient and the room was very comfortable.

we stayed twice total of 7 nights in the hotel. Kit at the check-in desk is really knowledgeable and helpful. He showed us where to park with lots of details. When we got back after parking he already send our luggage to our room. Since we checked in around 8pm, way passed the afternoon wine time, he told us we could come to bar anytime that night and he would help us with the wine. He made our stay easy and felt been taken care of, thank you Kit!

I love the spacious rooms with separate lounge area. The bed is large and comfortable and the breakfast above average.
The building is a beautiful historic building in a great location within walking distance to the city and tram stops just up the road.

The loft apartment isn't - it's merely a two-story apartment on the lowest floor, contrary to the actual meaning of the word \"loft\" ('a room or space directly under the roof of a house or other building'). So the view was mostly of the road and a couple of median strip trees, and the road noise was substantial.
There was supposed to be a bottle of wine on arrival, but there was not. No room upgrade was offered despite there appearing to be plenty of vacancy.
The apartment itself was decent - spacious for the most part, and well-arranged. The facilities were mostly good, though the washer/dryer is a combo Samsung unit which takes five hours to run a basic clean & dry cycle, takes only a half-size load, and can't actually dry thicker materials like jeans. So we ended up having to drape clothes over railings and chairs.
The main bathroom had soap & lotion dispensers at the sink but none in the shower (just the old-fashioned, wasteful single-use tiny plastic bottles).
The parking was a couple of minutes walk away in an unpleasantly cramped garage - many spots are only accessible to tiny, low cars. There were no working electric car chargers in the parking lot. With city traffic it was a fifteen minute exercise to park or fetch the car.
The buffet breakfast was decent overall - a reasonable range of cooked and continental options, but many of the cereals were in wasteful tiny-portion packaging.

Treasury on Collin was *perfect* for this: high speed internet irrespective of time of day. Suite was spacious and comfortable, with bath, laundry and kitchenette. Room was quiet. Access to good quality food nearby, as well as shows / entertainment.
I will absolutely be back and would not hesitate to recommend staying here.

My only complaint about this hotel is the non working lift and the bottleneck at reception on the Mezzanine level. Took so long for the one working lift, right near the reception desk. This is also right near the breakfast area. Very congested and uncomfortable. The hotel and staff were wonderful. I think fixing the elevators should be a priority.

Definitely would recommend the apart-hotel and would stay again. Nice to have everything provided. Great options for the breakfast, nice wine at the happy hour, and nice to be able to grab a takeaway coffee from the guest lounge at any time. Good size apartment with everything you need. Close walk to shopping and dining options.

The property was lovely. Not what I was expecting. The room was bigger than I thought and we were lucky to get a small balcony to sit and have a morning coffee on.
Buffet breakfast was nice but not coeliac friendly, I had to ask staff if the chef could cook up a separate plate for me. They did this which was lovely, they did make it clear that that couldn’t guarantee no cross contamination in the kitchen. Although lots of places around the hotel that I could eat at safely.

Marvin was equally good, and the Argentinian lady recommended the best restaurants. We followed her sage advice and she hit the button every time.

I almost don't want to write a positive review for this place because I want to keep it all to myself! I loved our stay here! This is one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. The apartment was spacious and had incredible amenities, like in unit laundry and a jacuzzi tub. The breakfast was nice and the complimentary snacks were so helpful. The staff we also super kind and helpful. And the location was perfect - right in the center of everything.

The location was fantastic, the staff amazing and the old building quite special. It was unfortunate when there that only one lift worked and the coffee machine was out of order for breakfast too. The gym is basic but has good treadmills and it is a bit clunky dropping and collecting luggage with the standing zone a full level (and only elevator accessible) below the mezzanine where the reception desk is located. Parking is also some distance away. Room was very good with great hot water, space and fit out.

Very attentive and courteous staff. Stairs & lifts to each floor with fob access at each level and keys for room entrance. With longer stays, room cleaning service is every three days but staff happily attend to your room daily if you request. There are a selection of drinks, snacks, hot drinks that patrons can access up until 10pm. Between 4-6pm you can partake of drinks on the Mezzanine floor overlooking activities on the ground level. Prices are extremely reasonable. A very convivial atmosphere. The Restaurant serves high quality food presented beautifully. No need to dine anywhere else because you will want to try every dish on offer and that will take some time. The character of this substantial building has been honoured and maintained. Quite stunning. I loved that there are elements of the buildings history as a bank have been maintained and the beautiful iron balustrade along the stairs. We booked a one bedroom heritage apartment which was large, offering separate bedroom and bathroom to the lounge, dining, kitchenette space. Lounging couch and individual chairs. The noise from the air pumps made it difficult to sleep, as did the water hammering sound from shower in room above. There was also a drilling type sound and the dragging of large refuse bins in the laneway outside our room. People living in Urban or city dwellings may not be impacted by these sounds.

The whole experience was great. Everything there operates very smoothly. People are nice and efficient. When. Had trouble with my laundry washer, someone came within three minutes. Lots of nice places to sit in the beautifully restored bank lobby and mezzanine. Breakfast was excellent. Room and sitting room were comfortable. The best part was that it appeared that no one was running it but everything was perfect.

Whenever one reviews a hotel, it's a given that the staff are always friendly and helpful, and they definitely were at the Treasury on Collins. However, the hotel was simply not what we expected. The entrance, and I am not sure which one we should have used, is unimpressive to say the least. We used the one via Queen Street and it left us wondering if we were in the right place. We eventually found reception on the mezzanine level and again it was a bit surreal as we looked down onto what looked like a dining and bar area on the level below us. Similarly, the walkway around the atrium (for want of a better word) on our level looked strange and if there hadn't been someone smiling at the reception desk, I would have though we were in the wrong place. I have seen many old bank and office buildings that have been renovated and they have been magnificent, but not this one. The corridor on the sixth floor leading to our room made up for all our concerns because it was really impressive. Why the rest of the building couldn't have been done like that, I will never know? However, on entering the room, more disappointment. Parts of it were ok, but what could only be called the recent renovations were quite unappealing. Think of cheaply veneered and dated timber cupboards, etc. The shower over the bath was completely unacceptable in this day and age and because of that, I cannot understand why the hotel gets such good ratings. As you can see, it just wasn't our scene.

This was an outstanding hotel experience! From the beautiful and well kept hotel rooms to the well stocked, amenity-filled rooms, to the incredible breakfast buffet that we enjoyed every single morning. I can’t speak highly enough of this hotel. The value for the money is outstanding. The staff went out of their way to make every bit of our experience feel personalized and comfortable. The pillow menu, the optional mattress topper, the deluxe Nespresso set…everything about the hotel was fantastic. In addition to that, the hotel itself is gorgeous and so clean. I truly was impressed by how clean every aspect of the hotel was! So, in summary, I wish I could pack this hotel up and take it with me when I travel because it’s the only place I’d ever like to stay again

The Treasury on Collins is truly a pleasure to experience. Where do you get complimentary happy hour drinks and snacks these days? The decor and rooms are beautiful and it’s rare to find a two bedroom suite smack bang in the middle of the city. The service was also great … Harry’s a treasure. Really sumptuous stay, everything is designed to make you feel very cherished and cared for. The breakfast is delicious and the rooms are beautifully furnished. We had booked the loft suite which was absolutely massive, plenty of room for myself my husband and our daughter. We loved the all day snack bar where we could help ourselves to free fruit, biscuits and soft drink as well as yoghurts and other nibbles. A free wine and crackers at the bar each evening was a lovely touch. Highly recommended!

A beautifully restored building with large rooms and comfortable amenities. We had an inside room which meant we had no view. If we were to stay again we would be sure to book an outside room. The afternoon Wine Down, (complimentary glass of wine) was a nice touch and the staff were delightful. Breakfast could have been nicer if the food was hotter and the dishes replenished more often. We didn't get to enjoy eggs or bacon as it had all run out but in spite of this there was a good selection. A lovely choice of hotel in a good location. We will probably stay here again and have already recommended to friends.
