Was exactly what I needed for a one night stay.

Staff was very helpful, including accommodating an early check in and reminding me of my room number.

The room was fine. Still has carpet flooring and a jalousie window.

Breakfast was good, with a good selection.

Grocery store an easy walk.

The staff were so friendly and professional. We looked forward to the amazing breakfast every morning. By far the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. The pool area is beautiful and comfortable. We got around via Uber which was a bit of a problem because this hotel used to be called Best Western but got split into two hotels and a number of the drivers were confused by that.

Was advertised with a balcony, but the room did not come with one. They moved us to a smaller room without even offering a partial refund. Staff was very unpleasant and rude, and the complementary breakfast consisted of rice and beans and fried plantains yuck the ice machine didn’t work on our floor. The safe did not work. The TV did not work until I fixed it. They were unable to send any staff up until the next morning. Horrible place stay away, not worth the money. The location was not great for that price at all.

We had a great day and would stood out would be definitely a clean room. The staff was very nice and welcoming!! the breakfast buffet was definitely a major plus for us. The warm foods were perfect temperature as well as the cold and very spacious room to be able to sit down and enjoy.

My stay was cool. The rooms do not have a microwave, a mini fridge and even Kleenex. The room also does have a lot working electrical outlets, it was hard to charge multiple devices. The property was nice and the room did what it needed to do for one night.

The cleaning staff entered my room without permission, even though I told the staff supervisor that I would be departing and checking out after breakfast. Huge violation of privacy to find my room door full ajar and my wide open suitcases all over the floor for passerby's to see. Very embarrassing. This is not the first time this has happened. I will NOT stay here again. Try Holiday Inn on the same site.

There doing construction on the property. The rooms facing the back of the property have to deal with noise, very dirty construction area and local construction workers walking constantly back and forth past
your window. Guests should be warned to not request the rooms with the city view. I had to switch rooms 3 times during my stay.

El hotel se encuentra en una ubicación muy favorable, cerca del aeropuerto y del centro de la capital, cuenta con piscina y habitaciones con vista a ellas, tiene gym full equipado y restaurante 24/7 con Dennis, así como otros restaurantes dentro del mismo lugar, las habitaciones son muy cómodas, con todo lo necesario, las camas super cómodas, no hay ruidos lo cual es importante, está en constante remodelación, muy recomendado por el precio.
El único tema sería que la habitación tenía una puerta para unirse con la habitación de la par y se puede escuchar ruido durante las noches pero se entiende cuando lo que se busca es quedarse en familia y se necesita de esa manera, no sé si hay habitaciones sin estas puertas.
El desayuno tipo buffet muy bueno.
En general muy recomendado todo

Please understand that this is a slightly older property, however it has been very well maintained over the years. It is physically connected to an IHG Holiday Inn, and between the 2 properties there are ample dining options. The studio room we had was excellent! And had everything we needed for our stay - fridge, microwave, utensils , etc. plus, the room was bigger with a small dining area, desk, reclining chair and even a walk-in closet! When we visit Costa Rica again this hotel is on our list to stay at again!

Convenient SJO stay

This was a one night stay close to the airport. The hotel was just okay for that purpose. It was supposedly a newer hotel but it seemed older and not modernized. It was conveniently located and connected to another hotel via a cat walk so you could eat and shop without leaving the property if you didn’t have transportation. There was a $7.00 pp charge to use their shuttle to go to the hotel but it was easy to reserve. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They do only offer one free breakfast per room and it cost I believe $14 for each other person so be aware of that. They are connected to some restaurants, a casino and then a Dennys is just on the other side. All walkable. It’s off season so a lot of food options weren’t available and they only had 1 washer and 2 dryers for the entire property. There’s a golds gym sharing a parking lot and Holiday Inn is on the other side. Overall for a one night stay it was fine.
