We loved the hotel and staff .
A few minor issues the chairs on our balcony were cracked my partner went though one of them - they were quickly replaced bed sheets had holes in them and towels had stains on them . The food is great quality but if staying more than a week be prepared to get bored and the entertainment is very good but runs on a loop so its again if you there for longer you will be very bored watching the same thing .
If going Ai the drinks are great and it is top shelf stuff . The staff are what make this place wonderfull . The shopping center across the road is very run dow and at night badly lit needs massive improvement.

Great hotel & location, rooms are everything you need & cleaned daily, meal times there is always something to suit with lots of choice & well made & presented, kids disco & entertainment show is very good, all staff are friendly & helpful & always have a smile, pool areas are great as are the parks & there's lots to keep kids happy, its very much a kids hotel so can be noisy, granddaughter loved it & found lots of friends, we loved it too & would be back without hesitation, its a great family holiday hotel.

Nice hotel would recommend for children

Fantastic stay at this hotel - really quiet room with air con which was needed - quite far from the main areas but this meant it was quiet.

Lots of small children as the hotel is focused on entertaining them so if you have small children this is the hotel for you.

No adult only areas for dining and no adult pool or jacuzzi which would have been nice. Plenty of room to have another adults only or swimming only pool.

Food in the restaurant was fresh fish and meats with really polite staff. Plenty of choice, a bit chaotic at breakfast as lots of children so food on the floor and tables, unsure why parents can’t clean up after their own children ?

Drinks were top shelf with nice cocktails, fresh coffee including iced ! Pool snacks looked like a good choice, cooked fresh and ice cream on tap.

Outside of you turn left it’s the sea and right a short stroll to shops bars and restaurants if you fancy a change. We were AI and the lunch and dinner were ok for us plenty of choice so we just had coffee outside of the hotel.

The only change would be add on an adults swimming and jacuzzi and add some more sun beds in high season - strict no saving of beds at 6am! However families were putting towels on 6 beds and then disappearing for most of the day which is really unfair. Probably need somekind of monitoring system because in high season I would be annoyed at not being able to get a bed when they are unoccupied all day !

My parents and 13 month old daughter had a really enjoyable stay here in March 24. They said the staff were friendly and the resort had a great range of play areas, swimming pools and activities for young children.
It would have been nice to have a greater variety of vegetarian proteins at dinner, but they said the food was pretty good all in all.

Just returned from a stay with H10 Lanzarote Gardens (May) with my family inc a 4yr. We will definitely be booking for next year, the hotel was fab they thought of everything for a family stay. The staff were very welcoming and couldnt do enough, the animation guys were great with the children. We read the reviews prior to coming and we brought a wetsuit for the lil one as the pool water/wind can make it a bit chilly, im sure this isnt an issue later in the year, it just ment we could stay in the water for longer. The beach is a stones throw from the hotel and here was plenty of choices at meal times, i would recommend half board or all inc, and again the staff are very accommodating to all dietary requirements.

This is the only hotel we have ever left mid stay. It's nowhere near 4 star, I've stayed in 2 stars that are better. The rooms are desperately in need of renovation, our 2 rooms had damp and were cold. They couldnt properly cater for our dietary needs and when we said we think it's best for all of us if we just leave and you can refund us for the unused day the manager refused. He said it's your choice to leave, but I won't give you your money back.
It's not like I was asking him to refund the time we had already spent there, I was happy to pay for that even thought it has been awful, I only wanted the time we wouldn't use. This is the first bad review I have ever had to leave and I use hotels at least once a month. Disgusting rooms and a manager with a disgusting attitude. It's a shame because the rest of the staff were all very friendly and the pool area was quite nice. The decor in the bars looked like an old people's home though.

This was a well located hotel, and very family friendly, however as a couple looking for a quiet break away, this was not the best hotel for us. The hotel have great facilities for babies and toddlers, which means that it attracts a lot of families. I didn’t notice this as a specific point when booking the hotel initially, had I have known that this was a very family orientated hotel, I’d have booked elsewhere. The hotel was great - it just wasn’t the quiet and relaxing holiday I was hoping for.

I loved that there were kitchen facilities in the room this really made a difference! The rooms are spacious & clean with plenty of storage for your. Clothes & belongings. I love children as I’m a mum of three myself & grandma to six! However I did feel I was in a children’s playground most of the time it’s very good for them. The staff here were excellent! Very welcoming and helpful, it’s a beautiful hotel and perfect for families however just not for my age group.

Overall, this hotel is brilliant for children, but falls short of the standard set by other H10 hotels. We would only recommend the hotel for families with young children.
The kids entertainment team are relentless and there is always something going on, even without attending the kids club. Whatever the entertainment team are paid, it isn’t enough! There was a constant stream of parties and activities that kept the whole family entertained. The only criticism I have is the appropriateness of the music at the kids pool entertainment, especially during the foam party where “Dance mother f’er” was played!
The rooms are ok, but have no soundproofing. We were not only able to clearly hear the conversation in the room next door, but we could hear the guests downstairs, three rooms over. The beds are also very uncomfortable and we were given dirty bathroom towels on more than one occasion.
The hotel is located close to the town centre so is convenient for shops and restaurants.
The food is very good at the hotel and there is a great provision of free from items at breakfast in particular. We did find the staff in the restaurant a bit rude and unhelpful. We would also recommend only doing breakfast or going all inclusive, the half board option isn’t great value and doesn’t include any drinks at all with your meal.

It's a brilliant hotel for family. We stayed in the hotel for 6 nights and with 3 kids at young age, they all loved staying in this hotel, especially with kids club. Everyday there're so many activities for both kids and adults, mini disco and evening shows were great too. Credits are given to Alex and his blue team, It's pity if miss any of the entertainment. Hotel location is handy too. Very close to beach within 5 mins walking distance and has pharmacy and doctor right beside hotel. Shops and restaurants all close by. Wonderful hotel. Definitely recommend to family with kids.

My wife has Coeliac Disease and therefore need a gluten free diet. I emailed the hotel to see if they could manage and they said yes. From the moment we arrived they were brilliant. Our meal card was annotated and at every meal she was given a guided tour of the buffet and told exactly what she could and could not eat. She also got a goody bag of gluten free items to supplement the meals. Overall the staff could not have been more helpful. If we return to Lanzarote we would not even think of staying anywhere else.

This is a good hotel for families. It runs various child friendly events on site, run by enthusiastic and friendly staff, and it’s also close to a safe, sandy beach. The rooms are of a decent size and comfortable, but could be refreshed in terms of design. The performance space/stage sees some good shows and we especially enjoyed the acrobats and the Lion King show which involved some children from the kids clubs. Here, too, some refurbishment would be helpful to provide better sight lines and comfort. The food at the hotel is plentiful and varied. The fresh sea food was a highlight.

Good things - very kindly upgraded us to Bungalow room for the stay which was a nice touch.
Reception staff friendly and helpful. Local area had close by shops and restaurants and close walk to coast. Room - clean and comfortable beds. Good range of toiletries. Swimming pool looked well maintained.
Food - we went on a half board basis. The food exceeded our expectations. Due to dietary requirements - a member of staff would show us around and explain what we could and could not eat. Although this was nice, it did become clear that some members of staff had more knowledge than others in this respect. Their desserts are labelled with allergens and it would make more sense to improve the food labelling for all of the food, which would make it easier for people with allergies/dietary restrictions. The reason being the kitchen staff can be quite busy and this process seemed rushed at times.
Apart from this a great stay. Thank you. Wifi was excellent too.

The hotel is a must if you have young children. It has pools and slides for them to enjoy and evening shows every night for the whole family to enjoy. 5/10 minute walk to the beach over the road. Food is buffet style and plenty of choice for all. The staff couldn't be any more helpful and always friendly. All in all, a great holiday at this hotel. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Family hotel in quiet part of Costa Teguise

One of many H10 hotels in Lanzarote, the suites property in Costa Teguise is quiet
and family oriented (but all are welcome) with good facilities and food (breakfast lunch and dinnner buffets each day). Close enough to walk to the busier part of town where a plethora of restaurants and entertainment options are but far enough away from those to be quiet and peaceful.

Nice hotel with a few issues

I really liked this hotel. Clean, modern, family friendly, great staff and fantastic food (we did half board).
The location was 5 minutes from the beach too.

The Suite was very roomy and clean.
There were a few problems which could be easily rectified that I've not in similar hotels:

1) the shower door leaked drenching the floor. I've seen this in other hotels before and it just requires a change in the plastic at the bottom of the shower door
2) they didn't replace the toiletries (which i'd expected given the price) meaning we had to buy our own shower gel and shampoo (which isn't a problem of course but just not expected)
3) The pools were not heated and were very cold. I think covering them in the evening might have helped
4) The main issue though was 'noise'. The hotel is fantastic for families and those will small children. The children entertainment was fantastic and clearly the hotel has worked hard at positioning itself to the young family market. The entertainment finished at 9pm in the main area which is when most people went to bed. There were a handful (around a dozen) of people who would stay up and drink after this. The hotel in their terrible insight then decide to have live music in another bar near the pool which finished at 11.30pm most nights. I'm unsure who this benefited as my room was around 100 metres away and I go to bed at 10pm normally and no-one in our room could sleep. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again because of this which is a real shame

Superb all inclusive break for young familes

Returned from 5 night all Inclusive break in May. Hotel booked solely on other Expedia reviews and it certainly lived up to expectations. A brilliant holiday set up for families with young children. Our 4 year old adored the kids club. Rooms very clean, staff lovely. Food very fresh could do with more vegetarian mains please, Plenty of sides and vegetable dishes but not always an actual vegetarian main at dinner. Recommend all inclusive great drinks! I think if we were there any longer than a week we would get bored but perfect for a relaxing family break. I think older children would also get a tad bored, Great easy location just twenty mins from the airport. Ask for a pool view room.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. We used the crèche and our 20 month old loved it and once again the staff were brilliant in the crèche - our little boy could not wait to get into the crèche! The food was good - v fresh lots of variety. Sometimes a little busy but really all you need to do is go slightly outside those v busy times and wasn't a problem. A very enjoyable stay for all.

Lovely stay at the H10. The hotel is large and modern, with great facilities. Meal time was often very busy, however the food was very good considering how many people are being catered for. The room was large, and having a separate living area made a big difference. When we arrived we had to bring our own cases in, and then find 50 cents for a trolley to take the cases to the room; I would expect someone to offer assistance in a 4 star hotel.

Hotel with huge number of families with kids, therefore difficult to relax and rest, eat or dine in peace. Poor dinner, I'd prefer less variety and better quality, desserts terribly artificial. Terrible coffee, no natural juice of any fruit. Difficult to eat heathy. Dinner ends at 9PM, too early in my opinion (I live in Spain and here people start dinner at 9PM. Internet in the room not working at all, only at the terrace (I was warned about it during the check in). Uncomfortable beds. On the other hand very friendly and helpful staff.

Great Hotel, friendly staff & great entertainment

We would not normally rate a hotel as we have always felt you get what you pay for. However, this hotel met our expectations and gave us more. We went as a family of four, with two children one 5 months and the other four year. Our four year old was made to feel so special by the animation team; they all work so hard not just to make the children enjoy their holiday but the adults too. The activity choose is great and you do not have to leave the hotel to have a good time. The heated pool allows you to swim all year road and the heated baby pool is warm enough for the little ones. The food choice is great and the children’s area with Daisy plates is fab. We would go back in an instance and cannot recommend this hotel enough.

First experience travelling abroad with our two year old. Could not fault the hotel or facilities. The staff are the most helpful and friendly I have ever encountered. Nothing was a problem and their enthusiasm and professionalism was incredible.
Grounds are immaculate, kids clubs superb and extremely child friendly pools. We were B&B only so can only comment on breakfast which was very good, well organised with great choice of quality food.
Would highly recommend this hotel and if travelling to Lanzarote again will definitely stay here.

Pleasant hotel with pleasant staff always willing to help. Rooms comfy and clean. Very quiet at night considering the amount of Children. Pool area is great for young ones with activities during the day and something always going on.

Hotel is in a good location a 5 min walk and your on the beach, 10 min walk and you arrive in the main area for bars and restaurants.

Only issue we had was regarding wifi, not free and very weak signal unless around the bar/restaurant / reception area. So you pay for a service you can't get if located towards the back of the resort.

Nice, relaxing FAMILY holiday

Firstly the staff absolutely make this hotel, they are amazing. Extremely helpful, friendly and they go out of their way to help you. We arrived around 11pm and had missed dinner but they had made up a bag of food for us to take to our room. This was a nice touch. We requested a ground floor room but one wasn't available until the next day. No huge problem but did mean that we needed to unpack and pack a suitcase.
The whole hotel is very clean. The food is actually very good considering it is buffet food. The hotel sufferes the same \"towel on every sunbed and then they aren't used for hours\" problem, but to be fair every hotel I have been to has this issue.
We would definitely consider returning back here for our holiday.

Perfect hotel for families with kids. Rooms have separate bedroom and kitchenette and spacious balcony.
Hotel facilities great- plenty of loungers round swimming pools, kids club, small kids play ground, entertainment (fitness classes, water polo, kids fun etc).
Restaurant well catered for kids, wide range of food. Did get a bit busy at times but try to avoid peak times. Able to swap dinner for lunch on half board basis.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Very close to shops, restaurants, bars and beach (5-10min walk).

Thought hotel was really nice, rooms, pools etc had been done up to a lovely standard. Daytime activities were great for the kids, lots for them to do.
Great evening entertainment for the children, would have been quite nice for a seperate bar area for people who didn't want to watch the entertainment.
This all obviously attracted lots of families so there were lots of children in school holiday time.
Buffet food was nice, a lot of all the same stuff though. Would have been nice if there was another restaurant to offer more choice & somewhere different to sit & eat. So we had 3 evening meals out just to break it up & few drinks at local bars. Which we were happy to do for what we'd paid.
We had a lovely holiday would def return.

Staff were excellent - reception, bar, waiting, cleaners and especially the Blue Team!
Unfortunately, the food was only lukewarm unless you waited for it to be cooked on the griddle right through the week.
The swimming pools were refurbished last year, and for some unknown reason the children's pool is not heated, though the adult pool is. There are slides etc in the children's pool but no children used it. We felt that if the pool had been heated it would have kept the guests on site rather than the site being deserted during the day, and would make guests more likely to return.
The evening entertainment was great, but we felt everything finished very early. We were in bed by 10,30pm!
The beds were all extremely hard, and I had very little sleep for the entire week.

H10 -better than expected

Having booked this 2 weeks ahead, I wasn't sure how this particular hotel would be. Pleasantly surprised, having read many H10 reviews generally elsewhere which were less good and, some very good reviews for this one.
In a good location, 8 -10 mins stroll to the beach, shops/ bars 4 minutes .Costa Teguise nice area.
Hotel staff, food, accomadtion all better than expected. They did commence renovating the outside bar whilst we there but no info on their website mention this - especially as taking a month to complete. That said, pool area large enough to be away from most noise.

Nice 3 star for family getaway

Lovely stay at the H10 and couldn't fault the hotel, staff or facilities for the price paid. The rooms have been recently done up and are to a similar standard to some 4 stars I've stayed in.

The food and drink available was lovely and plentiful for an all inclusive and the kids area was a blessing for all guests alike.

The pools are great, luckily one is heated and so the weather would not be too much of an issue in the cooler months, luckily we got sun most days so it was not an issue. The 2 play areas were also very good for kids of all ages.

The entertainment team don't seem to stop and really made a fuss of us all every time we saw them so hats off them because they really do put in 100%. In fact, all the staff from reception, to restaurant staff and even the cleaners were polite, pleasant and made a fuss of our little boy, so thank you to all!!

None of our party had any phone signal at all when we went (anywhere in Lanzarote), so we paid the weekly charge for the wi-fi so we could contact home. The internet speed is very fast and available in most block and communal areas (although we unfortunately we're unable to connect in our block!!).

Lots to do nearby and shops local for all items required. The grounds are secure and there was no issues whilst we were there.

All in all a nice stay. Thanks to all at H10.

Great family hotel

We have stayed here twice with our daughter and family and can't praise it enough. The hotel has been renovated since we was here last time and rooms Are great. Plenty of entertainment for the young and adults and staff are great with the children. Will definitely be going back .

Great Family hotel

This was our first family trip abroad with young children so we were quite apprehensive. Very quickly it became clear that we needn't have been. The hotel was clean, comfortable and in a great location. Just across the road is a small shopping centre and the beach is a short 3 min walk away.

The entertainment team is superb. There are great kids clubs for children of all ages. We arrived on Boxing day and stayed until just after new year's day. There was singing and dancing on new year's eve with party bags given to all guests just before midnight followed by a fireworks display at the front of the hotel. A mini disco was laid on every evening.

The entertainment team spoke to the kids by name wherever they saw them on the complex which made our children feel at home. Our daughter cried when we checked out and quite frankly I could easily have joined her. I was so sad to leave.

Good Family Hotel

Nice spacious hotel apart from the dining area & evening entertainment room. Friendly staff throughout. Large well kept grounds and pool area. The smaller pool is heated to 25 degrees but the large one with the kids slides etc. is not. Plenty of sunbeds and not a mad rush to reserve them. Nice clean spacious rooms, which are being renovated at present. Entertainment team are good and work hard to keep all amused day & night. The only small moan is the restaurant is very busy at times and not enough staff clearing tables at peak times. Food is basic but edible and plentiful. Again the evening entertainment area is cramped so you have to be in early to get a seat, as it seems for every one seat sat in that person seems to think that their coat/jacket/cardigan or bag has to sit on the seat next to them all evening rather than other guests !!!

Fantastic, first class accommodation.

Absolutely first class in every aspect. HIGHLY recommended. The only potential negative for some was that Costa Teguise is rather windy. We thought that the whole island is probably the same but noted a marked reduction in wind on a day trip to Puerto Del Carmen. It didn't bother me as I don't like it roasting hot (and it was still lovely and sunny)and from reading reviews the majority say that the wind is a positive in the summer as it keeps thing from getting overly hot. I think that's how my stance would be in the summer also. I'd still happily go back in the winter too but if you like it really hot then perhaps another resort would be better for you.

However I don't want to take anything away from the accommodation as it was faultless and a real pleasure to stay there. Food great too-and I'm a fussy git ;-)

Nice clean hotel, close to beach.

Booking process was easy online. The Hotel is easily accessible from the Airport by bus (first bus to Arrecife Bus Station and second bus to Costa Teguise - stops right outside H10 Hotel) much cheaper than a transfer or taxi. Check in can also be done in advance online and therefore you just walk up to reception, give your name and get a key card for your room. The rooms are clean and spacious and towels and washing products are provided and refreshed each day. The beds are also made up each day. Our package included breakfast, which was a buffet style in a pleasant dining area, there was lots of choice of food and really helpful and attentive staff to reset tables. The hotel accommodates children well (although we don't have any) there seemed to be lots of daytime activities and evening entertainment. The pools are large, but we didn't use them as the beach was so close.
There are a few shops very close to the hotel (supermarket, bars, restaurants and 'tat' shops) in the Las Chucaras beach area. You can hire two sunbeds and an umbrella on the beach for all or part of a day for 12 Euros. The main shopping area is a ten minute stroll along seafront and it has lots of places to shop, drink and eat. There are many Asian buffets, Indians and quite a few English/Irish bars serving food. The local evening markets are on Wed and Fri nights where you can get some good jewellery gifts or a fake Michael Kors handbag! Puerto Del Carmen and Playa Blanca are worth a bus ride

What a great hotel, great room on the 2nd floor, lovely and clean, beds made every day, clean towels every day. Beach towels available with a small deposit, always plenty of sun beds, never reserved. Great selection of food for breakfast lunch and dinner, fresh sandwiches, toasties, cakes all day. Roberto, the bar man was very attentive, poring our drinks without even requesting, he was also a very nice man. toilets by poolside always clean and fresh, evening entertainment great if you have kids. We used the taxi to transfer us back and forth the airport, far cheaper than pre booking. A short walk to the lovely beach, shops, banks, restaurants, weather was amazing, pools cleaned every day. Would definitely go back. wifi chargeable and only available at pool bar, restaurants, poor signal in rooms

great but with a few niggles

The hotel was really nice and was always clean. staff were very friendly apart from 1 waiter who was pretty grumpy. Pools are nice, though could do with being a couple of degrees warmer. The water slides are a bit of a problem though, only 1 comes into a pool where an adult can stand up and so are unsuitable for non swimmers. This lead to some dissappointed kids! Another annoyance is having to pay for WIFI. €10 for a week for 2 devices is not too bad though but then not being able to recieve it in the room is not good enough. And the last niggle... Being half board the AI drinks were off limit which is fine but the water tap was also included which i think is a bit much. As I said these were just niggles, I would happily stay here again.

Good location. Slightly tired room but clean.

Excellent pool. Bar in need of refurb but not major. Restaurant good, clean and excellent choices. Good quality food too. Outsde bar very friendly. All staff very helpful and friendly. Welcoming. Our room a squeeze though, 3 adults and 1 child. Two beds and two fold up beds, 1 bedroom! Block 1 very noisey. Would return though. No aircon so higher rooms hot.

Good for Families with Young Children

The Hotel is Spotless. The Hotel Animation is good for young children. We had a refurbished room which could not be faulted. Food is basic AI fare and meal times are manic. Would stay again but not AI as the area has many nice places to eat and drink at reasonable prices.

No mention of the building work going on

The overall state of the hotel was good, but there was a lot of building work going on around the pool and even on the roof of our apartment. This was not mentioned to us at any point of booking or even when we checked in, so we got an unwanted alarm call at around 08:30 each morning from the builders firing up their tools.
On a brighter note, when this work is complete it will make the hotel even nicer.

Great for families but some minor adjustments need

Positives:
- lots for children to do
- great location close to shops, restaurants and beaches
- breakfast has lots of great choices available
- all staff very welcoming and friendly
- room cleaned every day

Negatives:
- all swimming pools were freezing, our toddler couldn't stay in them for longer than 30 minutes
- building work going on which was very noisey & they shut most of the main pool without telling us
- the front door to our bungalow wouldn't lock do our toddler could just pull the handle and escape till we barricading it-surely something like that can be sorted by hotel staff?
- playgrounds were good but a little dated and in need of a fresh paint

Overall it didn't out me off the hotel and I would visit again.

good family hotel close to resort centre and beach

spent 7 days here had a lovely time the hotel is a low rise complex ideal for families with children. Loads of entertainment going on day and night. Food was good and varied and all meals were buffet style. May not be the best choice for couples wanting a quiet break as the hotel seems to be mainly geared to families with younger children. Rooms were cleaned daily and the hotel itself and the grounds are very well kept and maintained. The beach is about 5 mins walk away and there are loads of bars restaurants and shops in the immediate area.

This is a good standard of hotel for a 3star. The rooms are very comfortable, although some customers may prefer to have air con during the summer months. The hotel has a good standard of facilities and food. It is very well suited to families with young children. In general the hotel is maintained to a high standard. But, we have just returned from a half-term holiday (February) and I was a bit disappointed by the fact that there is building work going on around the pool. I wouldn't normally spend all day by the pool anyway, but a couple of hours would have been nice. However, the noise just made it impossible to sit there and relax. Having said that, it didn't stop some people.

Surfing family

Great Hotel, Helpful staff, good for families.

We visited Lanzarote for a Surfing and Kitesurfing trip with our 1 year old daughter in January. We chose H10 Lanzarote Gardens as it appeared to have the best children's facilities and rooms with kitchens. We were not disappointed as the hotel staff and the facilities were great. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a two level bungalow due to the building of a new pool. The bungalow is defiantly a better option and we would book this again. The buffet breakfast and dinner is very nice and the atmosphere is very lively. If you don't like children there is a good chance you won't enjoy the restaurant area. This hotel is very popular with young families so it's worth bearing this in mind if you don't have children. The kids club is great and the staff are very good, there are lots of children of all nationalities and plenty going on.
Location wise the hotel is just over the road from the beach which has a small, but fun surf break and a famous windsurfing spot. There are several kit hire clubs and the windsurfing is very good. 20 minutes drive away is Famara
which is a very large beach that is great for surfing and kite surfing. We were lucky with the conditions when we were there with wind and waves every day. We were glad we chose Lanzarote Gardens as we didn't like the location or style of the Barcello or BeLive which we visited out of interest. The best quality hotel we came across in the area was the Melia Salinas, but the H10 seemed better overall for kids.

Nice hotel convenient location near a beach

Nice hotel, room clean and tidy, slightly dissappoointed with the food had better. While we were there the pool was being re-fur bushed which was a shame, but has to be done sometime if I had known would have chosen another hotel.
Plenty of restaurants/bars/shops nearby and a nice promenade for a walk which is car free, bus stop right outside hotel.
