Clean rooms, beautiful view from the balcony! Food was great on all inclusive, freshly made omelettes and eggs for breakfast. You’ll struggle not to find something to eat and enjoy! Restaurant staff amazing! Love that they serve your drinks to the table so you’re not battling to get those at lunch and dinner. Would definitely return to this hotel

Club suite was very spacious and a problem with air conditioning on arrival was sorted within an hour or so. However the terraces were VERY hot when the sun was out and they won't give you a sunshade so limits use of the sunbeds ( which also needs cushions as they weren't comfortable)

It is very clean, the staff are super helpful and you can walk to everything you need. They don't do room service but you can get food like pizza across the street late. I could have done with a couple more pillows but it's fine. The balconies all look over the sea and the air-conditioning worked well. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were lovely and soft. Blackout blinds great. Didn't eat there.

It you like good food then seriously do not go half board or all inclusive. I have just returned and can honestly say the food is bland, cold, consistent smell of strong garlic and totally tasteless. The pictures on this site pay zero resemblance to what is happening. We sat down with guest services who just said 'new owners' they changed the menus
So we paid for all inclusive and were forced to eat out for the duration of our stay.
So new owners it is not okay and what needs to happen to have people return
1. All inclusive and only one bottle of water in our room day 1
2. Breakfast. No decent coffee and tea and restricted to machines. The same as fresh juice which is a washed down mixture from a machine and horrible. It does not take a lot to offer fresh coffee, tea and juice for breakfast. Bread rolls were hit and miss and often low on availability. Egg is not fresh and clearly powder. Bacon is not cooked sufficiently and not acceptable. A total lack of fresh pastries such as croissants and local cakes.
3. Lunch. Just horrible and hardly warm. Same food every day which was unpleasant to say the least. Food purchased outside of the hotel.
4. 3.30 BBQ at the pool. Again, nice idea but the burgers were often uncooked and the hot dogs certainly not hot!
5. Evening meal. This was simply a repeat of lunch time. Same food on offer with the addition of a sauce. The food was not nice, completely tasteless and sorry not acceptable. The deserts again lack any imagination and was clear

Beautiful hotel with a lovely warm pool and stunning sea views.
Second stay here after having a club room with not a great view floor 0 and 1 I probably wouldn’t have an upgrade again I’d stick with a standard room, the benefits weren’t worth the extra money. AI drinks are good and generally branded and the pool area spotless.
Breakfast very good but evening meal a bit hit and miss, not an issue for us as we like to explore. Entertainment also hit and miss which is ashame given the luxury of the hotel. I would however stay again at the drop of a hat, the complex is safe and secure, clean with a good pool and great staff and the best views you can get from a standard room!

I requested a double bed. Instead I got 2 single beds together. When I asked in reception I was told that I “would be lucky to find a hotel with only double beds”, I think that they could have said that in a different way. If I knew that I was going to get a single bed I would have changed my mind and booked a different hotel.
Then I invited a relative to come to the hotel and join me for a drink in my room terrace. But we were stoped by the receptionist Salvador, and we were told that visits weren’t allowed, that the hotel didn’t have a licence for people who wasn’t staying in the hotel. First time I hear such a thing in my life ( and I spend a lot of nights in hotels every month due to work). I also found very rude the way and tone he used, it was very embarrassing for my guest and other people in the lobby could see what was happening.
I paid for half board but I only used the restaurant for breakfast. The quality and selection of food was very poor. The fruit was very poor quality, some of the kiwis looked like if they were cut in half days before.
The room was clean, except for paint dust coming from a dump patch on the ceiling, the floor had big gaps between tiles. And the bathroom had green dirt and hairs on the floor next to the door frame corners.
My stay was for 2 nights half board and I paid €247, too expensive for a wobbly uncomfortable single bed and poor customer service, if it wasn’t because I paid before arrival I wouldn’t have paid the full price

The only let down was the evening bar staff. They were always busy which lead to them being rather grumpy. I travelled with 2 infirm adults but I was only allowed to get 2 drinks and had to re-queue again to get my own.

We really enjoyed our recent stay at the Grand Teguise Playa so I felt it was only right that I wrote this review. The hotel is well managed and the staff are friendly and efficient and helpful in every department. The food in the restaurant is very good with a wide selection every night. I have coeliac disease and other food intolernaces and the restaurant staff went out of their way to cater for my needs. The hotel is big and spacious and although it was full throughout our stay it never felt crowded. The pool area is beautiful with plenty of sun beds both in the shade and in the sun. There is entertainment every evening which is varied and mostly of a good quality. The hotel is well situated in the centre of the resort with direct access on to the promenade and sandy beaches are close by. Costa Teguise is the quietest of the three main resorts In Lanzarote but there is plenty to do both in the resort and on the island. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for a great holiday in Lanzarote. Well done and thank you to the managment and staff.

We went all inclusive Food was good nice choice
Easy to find a seat and great service.
Rooms could be a bit cleaner kept finding little flies about. Comfortable beds and nice linen.
Lovely view of pool and sea floor 1 same floor as reception so no need for use of lifts perfect.
Did ask to keep our room longer on check but was told hotel was fully booked not sure how true this was. Not a problem as there was changing area.
Didn’t like the fact people go out and put towels on the sunloungers this should be stopped or staff should remove the towels.
Would we go back ? Yes definitely

Best hotel in Costa Teguise at the moment

Hi, I live reasonably locally. But once a month we will go to a hotel for the weekend and check it out. I've tried around a dozen different hotels in Costa Teguise and this one is the best. Recently refurbished. Nice staff. Food is pretty good. Rooms are lovely. Pool area is fab and the location can't be beaten.

We have stayed in several 4 and 5 star places across Lanzarote and so far this one has been the best. The room was huge (we booked a suite). Staff were friendly and the place was centrally located and immacualtely clean. It is also better value than a lot of the others. We recently stayed at Malia Selinas which was double the price of this and nowhere near as good.

The service inside the hotel was excellent, special thanks to the Porter who helped me to print my travel form on a way back to UK. Wonderful food three times a day, drink for free and warm pool with salty water to swim!!! What else to wish after very cold, rainy winter in the UK!!!

Pleasant hotel with very friendly staff

We stayed 2 nights with half board. Our stay was ok. The hotel is a 4-star so service was more or less at that level. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food in the buffet is not bad in general. There is a very small corner with gluten free bread, cereals and pastry but that’s it. No vegan/vegetarian alternative for sausages or bacon. There are alternative milks, soya, oat and lactose free. And there is live cooking where they cook fried eggs and omelettes. The room was nice, well presented at arrival and there was this plate with fresh fruit. The shower trail got full of water easily when having a shower. The hotel was very clean and the staff were constantly keeping all the facilities clean. Generally good.

COVID sucks!

Disappointed by attitude from staff. COVID rules are COVID rules, but I felt staff were quite rude and abrupt in sever circumstances, including at dinner when I accidentally went the wrong direction through there one way system to get food. Also when I asked for water at the outside bar, my mask was a little loose and rather than ask me to adjust it I just got yelled at and told to go away and come back.
Room was lovely, location was great, but I felt let down by hotel staff.

The location of the hotel is very good in Costa Teguise, we were half board and there were plenty of restaurants in walking distance if we fancied a change. The way the hotel faces gives most rooms a sea view.
While our room was clean it was a bit tired and is probably due for a refurbishment, the furniture was scratched and walls in places where you would expect e.g Suitcase areas etc.
The rest of the hotel though is well maintained and plenty to do in the hotel and surrounding area.

All rooms are sea view. Rooms are small but adequate. The ‘free bottled water’ advertised is one 1.5l water on arrival only. Was led to believe it was daily. However, access to water and ice until 5pm.
Could have done with a kettle in the room. Fridge was small, but useable for the 4 days I was there.
Lovely selection of food, pleased with the gluten free section/choice. No drinks included in half board at evening meal. Not even water. Close to amenities and bars/shops. Quiet in the evenings. I had early flight and had to leave hotel at 4.30am. Advised reception and asked for a breakfast bag or similar, which was steadfastly refused, even with a few days notice. Agreed to open up for access to tea & coffee. The ruling about not reserving sunloungers etc was massively overlooked. Most reserved from 7am, some with towels on and never being occupied. Hotel did not do anything about it, but I guess that’s common in most resorts now.
On the whole, it was a lovely hotel, in a lovely area.

Loved the location of this hotel. Right by the beach and coastal path but also right by shops and restaurants. Great staff, friendly and professional. No free wi-fi in the hotel bedrooms but I knew this before I went. Great selection of fresh food for breakfast and dinner. Would highly recommend the hotel and would definitely stay there again.

I have stayed in this hotel on eight separate occasions now. Enjoyed every one. The hotel is close to the main shops/entertainment areas. The food is excellent, especially if you like seafood as I do. I would recommend this place to anyone. One thing that might be considered is free wifi for guests instead of the one hour daily that is on offer. At 25 Euros a week, that is a bit steep in my view.

Disappointing room. Tiles cracked in bathroom and bath badly marked. Furniture in room very outdated. Sofas near lifts on 1st and ground floor very worn and tired looking. Same sofas as when we visited four years ago!

We really liked this hotel - we had a refurbished room on the 4th floor which was nice, clean, had a private balcony and a lovely view of the sea. The food was ok but got a bit repetitive after a while and sometimes the selection was a bit bizarre. Kids weren’t catered for separately but we were lucky that our 4 year old could mostly eat something from the buffet. We were disappointed that the ‘Asian’ and ‘Italian’ food nights they advertised, didn’t happen as our daughter would have loved them!
The evening entertainment was really good and looked impressive in the hotels beautiful atrium. We enjoyed the heated pool which was the perfect depth for our daughter, however it was still quite cold and the metals in the water turned out daughters hair green and has completely discoloured all of our swimming costumes.

Lovely hotel in centre of things with everything you would need, quiet relaxing areas and kids/adult entertainment. Rooms basic enough particularly the bathrooms but decent size with balcony looking out onto the sea (most rooms). Went all inclusive and food was excellent with good choice. Service was mostly good though staff in dining area could improve a bit. Reception staff excellent and very helpful. Negative for me is having to pay for wifi. Bottom line is would I return? YES

This hotel was so bad that we left the very next morning and checked into a local 3 star hotel that 1 was cleaner 2 A LOT cheaper 3 better entertainment, I booked this hotel after seeing it before yes the pool is nice and location but the inside is more of a 2/3 star. Room was dirty and had bugs in the bed forcing us to be moved at 1am in the morning, cracked walls, battered furniture, discoloured walls and carpet honestly it was a joke. The only positive is that they refunded the further 4 nights!

Great location, hotel has some lovely features. Some of the amenities are dated as are the rooms, we didn't upgrade and our room was very dated had broken light bulbs, broken t.v. remote remote control dofjt get replaced for 24 hours and we had to ask twice. No tea or coffee facilities in room, Wi-Fi is not free. On the plus side cleaners were efficient and the pool had enough loungers I have stayed in much nicer 4 star and it really needs an update.

Great location with lots of shops and restaurants of different budgets within 5mins.
Wonderful view from all balcony rooms. Top floors have been redone and are lovely. Best sun on balconys from rooms 08-20 on each floor (eg. 608+, 408+ etc). Plenty of sunbeds. Always clean and tidy. Pillows are very narrow and only 1 privided per room so ask for more. Blackout curtains in newer room really help with early sunrise

The hotel lobby and bar area are lovely which raises your expectations for the rest of the hotel but our room on 2nd floor was very tired and in need of refurbishment, shower wasn't good, going hot and cold and practically a trickle of water at times so used the bath mostly. I liked the balcony which had a good view and was private and cleaning was good. We had to pay 25 euros to use the wifi in our room which you don't expect nowadays, also couldn't borrow an iron but was asked to put any laundry in the bag provided and they would iron it (at a charge) We bought a travel iron locally for less than it would've cost for them to iron 2 shirts. Food was ok and we liked the option of exchanging our dinner for lunch on days we wanted to eat out at night. Entertainment was good, magicians especially were very entertaining, also 3 tenors act and female singer were fab. We went to the paella and sangria making during the day which was good fun and very tasty paella portions were generously given out.
Hotel is in good location with plenty of bars and restaurants around and access to beach at rear of hotel. Plenty of sunbeds available but it wasn't sunbathing weather when we were there.

Nice situation in a lovely resort of Costa Teguise

Nice hotel in one of Lanzarotes quieter resort. The hotel offers a full entertainment program day and night. Staff are very helpful and polite. Only stayed in a superior room. 1st stay room on 4th floor looked a little tired, this stay on sixth floor which was much nicer. All rooms have pool and sea view there is a promenade by the sea and the walk will take you after a few minutes to other entertainment,food and bars. Nice Hotel will come back and happy to recommend.

Top hotel and top location

Awesome central area
Top tip outside the hotel on the beach front there is a small bay which is protected by rocks and is ideal for swimming or scuba, I was swimming with my 4 year old for hours in the sea which she felt completely safe.The hotel itself has a huge central atrium which itself is an attraction - honestly after staying in various hotels in Costa this is the one to go for

Pleasantly surprised hotel in lovely location and in walking distance to all amenities. Vies from room excellent.

Only thing missing were kettle and tea & coffee facilities in room which would have been icing on cake.

large hotel in good position

We had a refurbished room on the 4th floor,but refurbishment probably done on a budget. Floor was already lifting and furniture seemed rather MFI. A plus was the wardrobe space with lots of hangers. The corridors and lower floors all need refurbishing, carpets dirty and skirting and doors scuffed. The lobby area was very nice.The food was excellent and plentiful and the entertainment was good and varied. In a good position, on the beach, within easy reach of plenty of bars and restaurants. Temperature was 20oc+ whilst we were there, but a chilly wind was blowing all the time and temperature dropped at night so take a warm jumper and some trousers for the evenings. The swimming pools, including the so called heated one, were absolutely freezing, so weren't getting used much. The entertainment crew were very good, with lots to do during the day. We would stay here again.

Lovely Hotel in great location

Recently stayed at this very pleasant hotel. It’s in a great location, right next to the sea and very close to bars, restaurants, shops and beaches. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. We had a lovely sea view. Would definitely return here in the future.
