Really good, basic accommodation. Great view over the pool area.
Downside...listed \" Lift \" & \" Accessible \" on their details, but failed to mention the lift only went from Reception up & down to the dining area. They'd put us on the 3rd floor which I couldn't manage. I hadn't thought to mention I'm a wheelchair user as I assumed my needs were covered.
Upside...sorted out very quickly with no fuss - they changed our room to the Ground Floor. Not sure what would've happened if they'd been fully booked, but I was very impressed with how they handled it & with the wonderful staff in general.
I would not hesitate to use this lovely hotel again.

the room is cleaned every two days, old and moldy furniture, the food was either very salty or without salt. the price-quality ratio that the hotel boasts is a lie. it is a disaster. very cold in the room at night and there is no way to heat the room. we also found cockroaches in the dining room.

Disappointing

Dirty, cold rooms, very old and damaged furniture, window curtains excessively dirty with paint, refrigerator door dirty with food, tiles in the bathroom with grout between the joints, cobwebs that were not removed even if I notified the reception.
Cockroach in the dining room at the restaurant.
For those who wish, I can send corresponding photos.
Disappointing to have such accommodation through Hotels.com.

We stayed here on a 4 day trip, 2 adults, Thursday - Monday

Room has no air conditioning and had a whiff of sewer..

Food is awful and is often cold, even when the restaurant has just opened.

Food is repeated for 3-4 meal times in various forms

The sunbeds are locked until 10 - however they are unlocked about 9.45 or so.. but in lieu of sunbeds being reserved the chairs from the pool bar are moved into the spots people want and then exchanged for sunbeds when they're unlocked.. other guests had complained to reception about the quality of the food and were told that there are restaurants a short walk from the hotel if they didn't like the food.
The evening entertainment is twice a week on Sunday and Thursday - again this may be because we are just out of season but on the evenings in between there is bingo, but this is paid at €5 each.
The pool bar looks nothing like pictures that appear on the booking sites.. they serve a couple cocktails but there is nothing saying about them, we had to ask.. the snacks are rolls made from the ones that were out for breakfast and a few pastries, also from breakfast - and once they're gone they're gone.
Pictures on the booking site are dated add lie hotel does not look like this any more.
Sorry to say we won't be returning

Good price but most guests on all inclusive and making the most of inclusive alcohol. Lots of groups. Pool was rammed, never managed to get a space so went out every day. Cooking facilities and equip very limited. Staff ver nice, helpful and polite. Rarely cleaned tables in bar and pool bar. Would I stay again, probably not

We really liked are stay. Obviously weather helped. Apartments big and spacious. English channels when ye need a break from the sun. Kitchen abit dated but did the job. Cleaners and a staff very friendly and keep the complex very clean. Drinks cheap. Really enjoyed are stay and would stay again.

This is a very basic hotel with nothing good about it at all. Very rough and feels very dated. The food was absolutely terrible, there were flies flying all over the salad bar. Beds hard as rock and very uncomfortable. I’d give it one star. Don’t waste your money.

Blue Sea Costa Teguise Gardens is a solid 3/5 stars. The food is basic at best, often below satisfactory. The rooms lack Air Conditioning, there was no iron or ironing board (you had to pay), and the sofa in the apartment was poor. The balcony was ok. The all inclusive drinks aspect was good. The staff were polite. Communication was not always good as there is a coach to teguise market on sunday but this was not comminicated to us and instead was just on an A4 poster on the wall so easily missable. I would come here again but i wouldnt eat here in future.

The staff was helpful, good variety of food options, and the bed was comfortable, no air conditioning, only a ceiling fan, managed to create a draft through the apartment with a window and door, and went in Sept. Mainly used as a base. Stayed for 5 nights but booked 6 as the flight was a late one. I was a little concerned when reading the reviews, but you not going to please everyone, I had no issues.

Cockroaches found in room several times and in the bar.
Very loud guests, seemed to be a mainly welsh contingent while we stayed and very few other nationalities present. Food was good but certainly wouldn’t stay again as stayed in much better places near by.

Lovely pool and very clean rooms. The staff were friendly and the entertainment staff were friendly and funny. The food was hit and miss, as some times it was great and others it wasn't. The food was not always warm, which was frustrating. Entertainment was standard and nothing special but entertainment staff were lovely . Couldn't understand why the hotel could not purchase pens to play bingo with as they only provided guests with cocktail sticks. The hotel was under going refurbishment and the sofas that were placed outside rooms made the place look unsightly and was an eye sore. This could have been more carefully planned and prepared. Overall an ok stay for a cheap get away and we did have a lovely time. You get what you pay for, but I'm not sure I can honestly say I would want to stay again. Although as I said for what we paid we did have a nice time.

Aparthotel within 20min walk to good beach

The apartment was comfortable and spacious enough for me. I like to have cooking facilities when I’m away, but could have done with more cookware.

The room’s terrace was good and the pool area was pleasant.

Hotel staff were really friendly and breakfast even had stuff that vegans can eat.

The apartments are about 20min walk from the beaches and from the main shops, restaurants etc. There are other shops close by though.

Far from most things

If you want cheap drink and noisy guests, this is for you.
Hotel staff helpful and cheap taxi's are with you in a minute or two.
Everything costs extra, WI-Fi in room, kettle etc but there were cooking facilities and cutlery.
A double means two beds pushed together.
Breakfast was mediocre and unimaginative and fellow guests who had full board were not impressed.

Teguise Gardens, couple week break

I would recommend a few improvements to the owners of the hotel, first is have a shop on site as nearest shop is a walk away. We needed to buy towels as we like to pack light. The hotel could make money from the shop instead of charging hire for a kettle. The town is a good 15-20 min walk. More sun beds as my wife and I had to make do with a space on the ground as there was no beds and no seats available at bar (Clear one of the garden areas for beds). rooms need moped not just brushed. Instal a/c as fans don’t cool warm air they just move it around the bed room. Food is not very exciting but eatable.

Young Adults, please do not book

So 5 girls including myself recently just returned from Lanzarote. I would not recommend this hotel for these reasons:

1. Bad Location (Very far from the good clubs, restaurants)
2. After 11 pm there is no food to eat, no take away, no supermarkets are open
3. Hotel food is very crap, we spent £300 per person even though we were all inclusive. They reuse the same food each night and make a different dish out of it, there was constantly hair in my food, drinks were boring, restaurant staff were horrible, dessert was same every day, all we ate was chips as that was the only fresh thing. Breakfast was disgusting, all foods were terrible and out of date. Eggs stank strange, baked beans were watery, only the pastries were delicious.
4. Burger and hot dog by the pool were not edible, some of us were not able to eat it as it was only PORK burgers. Chips was horrible by the pool, they didn't cook it for long
5. Hotel is full of elderly people, no young adults! They were so grumpy
6. Puerto Del Carmen or Playa Blanca, are the best areas to go, not Costa Teguise !!!!!!

The hotel is a bit out from the centre. It takes about 15 mins to walk in. The room was nice and spacious. WiFi was free in reception but in the rest of the hotel it cost €7 a day or €15 for three, which seems quite expensive. There was a TV but most of the channels were pay for view only.

I arrived on a Sunday and left the following Saturday. For some reason, my room was only cleaned on the Wednesday and the Thursday. I have no idea why.

Breakfast was buffet and was good, though the coffee wouldn't win any awards. I was on a B&B basis, so didn't eat any other meals there.

Sorry this Hotel is not for us!!! Disapointing

Very disappointing. Staff good and hotel was quite clean. The rest was pretty basic and very tired. Needs total overall. Access to apartments was difficult and very badly lit.
Bed no mattress protector...rock hard and pillow like a stone.
Cigarette burns on furniture. Broken tiles, fan broken, no hair dryer in the room. Hotel a long way out from main area.
Luckily only one night here!
Sorry not for us. Feel sorry for people booking a long saved for holiday.
They tried to charge us 20 euros each for supper too!!
Breakfast was fine.

Did not get what we booked

We booked this 3 star hotel and upon arrival we were immediately told we were being moved to their sister hotel the blue sea beach. We were not told why but were assured the hotels were identical except the location. We found out later that the blue sea beach is in fact only 2 star and found we were not the only guests to have been moved. The food here is almost identical every day and is very poor quality, the staff all look fed up most of the time but the hotel entertainment rep was doing his best. Only the beach bar was open for the whole of our stay, the lounge bar was never opened even when it rained during a couple of days. The rooms are out of date but were a fairly good size. The sofa bed in our room was so uncomfortable that we actually brought a sun lounger into the room to sleep on instead. The maids only came into our room to change the beds and towels once during the week and only gave us 2 lots of everything when there were 3 of us, when we went to request more the receptionist did not even know where to find them! Overall this hotel is probably better located than the blue sea gardens but the fact remains we paid for a 3 star hotel and got 2 star, and it was a pointless argument with the hotel to get any kind of money back.

We paid for WiFi but the connection was not really good. Bed was extremely uncomfortable. The staff was not very helpful. The food in the restaurant was good with quite some variety.
There is no air-conditioning and the ceiling fan was not enough to cope with a country whose temperature at night doesn't go below 21 degrees in autumn.

I booked 3 rooms for 6 over 40 men to have a get together and catch up. We had a great time, the hotel is nothing like as bad as some of the reviews. We had reason to speak with the staff on a few occasions but found them very helpful and curtious. It's a 10 minute walk into the main Teguise bars and shops which was ideal. The food at the hotel was perfectly adequate and we all found something different to eat every night. The bar in the hotel serves local beers and spirits all inclusive and premium beers, ciders at reasonable prices. Our rooms were cleaned at least 5 out of the 7 days and all requests catered for. Overall it's not 5 star but perfectly adequate and good value for money. My only criticism is the tiled area around the pool is very slippery when it rains.

We won't be going back!

On arrival the room appeared clean but was looking tired and in desperate need of refurbishment. However, after walking around (bare foot) it was clear that the floors were not as clean as they looked although the cleaning staff did appear to work hard. The beds were uncomfortable and only thin sheets and a blanket were provided in a room with no heating, meaning it was very cold in bed as temperatures were low in the evenings. The room was not very inviting or comfortable and we did not want to spend any time in the room.

The food, in particular the evening meal, was dreadful. There was only a limited choice, and not much variation from day to day. Most food looked unappetising, but a good selection of salad was provided. The staff at meal times paid little attention to guests, and there was a general assumption that everybody was staying full board. If you decide to stay at the hotel the we would suggest bed and breakfast is the best way to go.

The hotel was not up to the standard that we expected of a 3-star hotel (more like a 2-star), but if you are after something cheap and cheerful then the hotel will meet your needs. The pictures are deceiving and the rooms are much more dated than they appear.

Was in a self catering apt, no air con, no cooking utensils, towels were grey( supposed to be white), pool small and no chance of getting a lounger, but it was so crammed you would have been on top of the next person. Staff very unhelpful. Entertainment rubbish, bar didn't have rose wine. TV had 3 channels none of which were in English ...you had to pay for that. They tried to extort money from their customers by offering the hire of kettles, TV stations, cushions for the sunlounger etc. I would not recommend to anyone

January 2015 for 1 week

Our 1st disappointment was actually with Expedia - we had requested a 2 bed apartment but on arrival discovered that we had been allocated 2 separate 1 bed apartments that weren't even close to each other! However, thanks to Rosa at the main desk we were moved closer to each other, No 2 bed apartments were available.
We upgraded to all - inclusive when we got there and made quite a saving compared to if we had booked this prior to the holiday! (Something to keep in mind)!
The main reason I wouldn't stay there again is that having stayed in the Blue Bay previously, it was obvious that this hotel appeared tired & run down and in need of a complete facelift.
I was also disappointed that basics had to he hired e.g. 8 euros for a kettle, iron which was non returnable. You also need to budgets to pay for TV access and Wi-Fi - although they state that this is free in public areas, you will find it difficult to access it anywhere apart from the main reception area.

We wanted a cheap and relaxing week in the sun and decided to join some friends who were on a longer stay here.The rate was 'all inclusive' and there was certainly plenty to eat. All meals were buffet style with a varied selection; nothing fancy, but reasonable quality and attempting to cater for all tastes. Wine, beer and local spirits all quite drinkable. Rooms were actually small apartments: very spacious and with a sunny balcony. Decor a little tired, but very clean and fairly comfortable. We felt the hotel was a bit understaffed, but all employees were very polite and friendly in spite of their heavy workloads.

we stayed as self catering and was a little disappointed that only one hot ring worked and don't know ,the last time the fridge was defrosted, but we only wanted to cook breakfast any way ,and ate out every night ,we had a large balcony so we sat on it as it was in the sun all day but it would have been nice to have sun beds on balcony.
it was a nice walk to the beach ,and on a night we got taxies back to hotel

Firstly I should say that we only slept in the hotel and didn't use any of the facilities. Checking in was very quick and the apartment was clean enough. We had a nice view over the roof tops of Costa Teguise, although we were facing onto the road and the outdoor furniture has seen better days. The apartment felt like it could do with some tlc and modernising, in particular there were cracked and loose tiles on the floor. Additionally there was only one bin in the apartment, which was annoying because in Lanzarote you generally can't flush the toilet roll... Keeping on the bathroom, there was no soap; whilst we're not fussed about the little bottles of shampoo etc, some soap to wash your hands would be nice. Overall, although there were the above niggily points, I'd say the hotel was great value for money for what we wanted out of it.

My Boyfriend & I came here for 4 nights from the 29th September till the 3rd October. Don't have anything bad to say about it - I booked it two weeks before & got a good price from Expedia. The place was clean, tidy, Apartments are fairly spacious & (as far as I'm aware) each get their own balcony. There is however NO Aircon in the rooms - you do get a very big ceiling fan in the bedroom (which is very quiet so can be left on all night to keep cool if you don't like having the windows open in case of creepy crawlies which I can honestly say I didn't see any so you're probably safe). The bathroom is okay & you are provided with towels, the bath itself is probably the tiniest one I've ever seen besides a baby bath so if you're a bath person it's a definite no go - didn't bother me so much though as the shower is good enough. You do get a tv but you have to pay for it. You also get a standard size fridge, microwave, & 2 ring stove for which pots etc are proivded in the cupboards. The food was nice all the vegetables, fish & fruit is all fresh, only bad thing to say about the food is that they don't do a great cooked English breakfast but it isn't England so that's fair. The is however plenty of continental options with cereals, fruit, juice & varieties of Tea's. Complex itself is only a 10 minutes walk to the beach, is near HiperDino's (supermarkets), gift shops, an arcade, a waterpark & Sports bars. About 20 minute Taxi drive from Airport - which costs roughly 20-25 Euros.

Nice hotel, you get what you pay for

The hotel was ideal for a weeks stay, the rooms were cleaned every other day, which was acceptable for my group of 3 girls. The hotel itself was kept clean and tidy and there were loads of amenities and the walk to the beach, shops and restaurants was easy and not too far.

The food was good and plentiful, just a tad repetitive, but very acceptable. The sun beds were hard plastic and many were damaged and you had to hire a cushion, so we bought our own lilo's. The pool side bar was good, but they provided your drinks in the smallest plastic cups. Plastic cups are not an issue, but the size of them was. I thought having to request small cups of water was also ridiculous, this should have been available in bigger cups and not had to be asked for.

The evening bar was the biggest disappointment. There was not enough staff and there was always a massive queue. If they had provided your drinks in bigger plastic cups this would not have happened. The drinks seemed as if they were watered down unless you drank wine, which unfortunately I do not, however my friends do and they told me it was very good.

For a quick week away, yes I would stay at this hotel again.

very good value for our 'break in the sun'. Nice sized bedroom and lounge kitchen area. Not really suitable if you really want to cook anything other than basics. Bars and restaurants within 5 minute walk, nearest beach 10 minute walk, centre of town 10 minutes

Wish it had been closer to the amenities

took ages to walk to and back from the beach, restraunts, and bus stop to anywhere for the kids but we always looked forward to to getting back to the hotel which was clean and spacious

Essen ungenießbar, hatten Halbpension, missten aber leider außerhalb Essen gehen. Appartement nicht sauber und stark Renovierungsbedürftig. Immer gutes Gefühl gehabt, vom Appartement weg zu sein! Nie wieder

la relación calidad precio es muy buena,
Buena base para conocer la isla y Costa Teguise tiene buenas playas en minutos. se aparca fácil.
yo desconecté la nevera por el ruido que hacía, deberían revisarlo. También el ruido infernal del tostador del pan en el comedor.
la comida es muy mejorable, pero en relación con el precio.

Tolles Hotel, gute Lage, aber nur für ÜF.

Sehr nettes, stets bemühtes Hotelpersonal.
Dieses kann auch nichts für die vielen feiernden Engländer. Nur leider wurde das Essen auch diesem Standard angepasst. Frühstück okay. Abendessen geht gar nicht! Geschmacklos, lauwarm, jeden Tag das gleiche.
