I stayed at this location for 6 days with my family due to family member loss.
I was extending my stay on the go since I didn't know for how long I was to be there. Every time there were to send me a code to get access to the building/room, but the code was giving issues every time.
One night it was about -3 below and I was outside for about 30 minutes with my spouse and my two little kids. That was just really bad specially after coming home from a funeral at nighttime.

The room was not 100% clean. I asked for to refresh the room, but I was told that they don't come into the room if I'm not there, so my room was never clean for 5 days.

I was a former Co-worker in the hospitality industry trust me I worked every position in a 3 stars hotel. I know about customers and what the customer are looking for.

I will not recommend it.

It was cold like the balcony possibly wasn’t closed properly. When leaving out last night it was something stuck on the side of the door way preventing me closing the door. Even though I was able to leave out eventually. I felt uncomfortable and didn’t sleep well when I returned for the rest of the night. Just got up and checked out early .

There is nothing luxurious about this place. From the day my fiancé and I walked in was HELL! First off there is no free parking. The garage that is at the back is a different company $25 a day. It gets better, once we get to the room the code they emailed me did not work we had to wait a whole hour to get a code that would work. Upon walking into the room the first red flag the window exposed no blind at all it’s also very cold. Bathroom toilet seat was broken. Shower had mold all along the crevices. Oh yea you have to shower in a small corner to keep the water from getting all over the floor. Also there was a mysterious yellow substance on the wall of the shower so enjoy trying to avoid that. Walls have so many chips in the wall you would’ve thought someone was chipping it for fun. Also discovered there was mold growing under the windows next to the heater. Wait I have to get to the good part after all these complaints to customer service which was also horrible, they offered to put me in a different room only thing was that room was worse than the first one. We had no choice but to stay in the old room. Also please beware if you have a car and you want to park on the street the area is bad in which I had no idea. Unfortunately my car was broken into and some personal things were taken. Very happy nothing happened to me or my fiancé. Just pay for parking. Also good luck with customer service they either won’t answer the phone or will talk to you like your crazy

Couldn’t get into my room they sent 12 different codes I was waiting outside my hotel room for 3 hours. The lady said she could give me a different room we finally got in… just to find out it was someone else’s room with they’re stuff in there. I called back and told her she said no one is staying in that room.I decided once she said that room was supposed to be empty but yet someone else’s items were in that room it was no longer safe to stay no matter what room was given. Customer service sucks.

This is not a 'hotel'. It's just a building with rooms in it. There is no desk staff at all. I couldn't get in to the building on Thanksgiving night and was literally waiting over two hours outside waiting for customer service to get somebody to let me in. The place is a youth hangout. It's not for serious people who are looking to relax. It's also in the middle of nowhere. You are literally right next to the highway. And the rooms aren't all that 'clean'. It was a miserable experience all around. I will 'never' go back there again, even if it was free.

I didn't like tge fact that there are no one live to talk to, and gwt assistance from. You have to be on the ohone for hours before you can get any kind of assistance. I couldn't figure out hiw to get into the building and didn't kniw where my room was, until i made several calls for help, and the number they have on the door wasn't any use to me. I had ti google The Archer online, to get the right number dor assistance, and the 45 minutes later i finally gotten someone who finally helped me. Iw wasn't the only one there with the same issues...

Do not stay here! Worst experience ever. No on site staff, no entry instructions, wrong key codes, then Constantly locked out of room and totally locked out for an entire day, only to be threatened the next morning with the cleaners throwing out my stuff If I didn’t check out, then gaslit, and accused of nevrf booking a stay by rude unprofessional, uninformed, untrained 3rd party customer service that are clearly overseas and readily yell and disrespect you after they refuse to answer emails or phone calls throughout the day and night. Ran into multiple other guests experiencing same or similar circumstances. The third party remote customer care line are the worst part of this failure of an operation. Thankfully I was refunded after they tried to fight that as well!

Customer service was prompt addressing any initial issues accessing the building. Shower water pressure was great and all appliances worked. It was a bit of an unusual layout and and well worn from lots of use. Also could smell cannabis from neighboring rooms even though it says smoke free building.

I stayed for about four days when we entered the room our code would not work so we had to call maintenance. Thankfully, it did not take two hours I’m not too sure why other people reviewed this place in the sense of they lack communication. You just have to also remember the time difference. The rooms are really spacious. Our only complaint I would say is that the shower could use a longer door so the water doesn’t splash out along with the shades in the room needs to be upgraded because they’re falling apart. But all in all as someone who works in a hotel, this was a very nice stay. And my partner and I look forward to staying here again once we’re back in New York.

There isn't one thing luxurious about this place. Its got a 2 rating for a reason. Custom service was seriously lacking. The reps on the phone are rude and could careless. I found a few roaches, the bathroom was like a closet. Honestly I'm really surprised and probably won't be using Expedia anymore for even having these scam artist on the site without warning. And no I didn't stay the entire time!

Do not book here!!!!!! Booked the condo and never was able to stay there. When we arrived code didn’t work to get in the entrance, took an hour for the customer service to let us through then gave us a room somebody was already in ( we walked in on the guests) and after I let customer service know I was hung up on and ignored until I reached customer service and both Robert and the other woman are rude and unprofessional. They told me there was nothing they could do. There was also another man in the hall that this was happing to as well except they didn’t even give him a room number and could not reach them so had to stay elsewhere. Seems like a scam to me or an extremely unprofessional business. Only reason we had somewhere to stay was thanks to Expedia putting us in a hotel that ended up being closer to where we wanted to be anyways.

Not what I expected for the price paid. Very Poor Experience.
For Global Suite to be selling their product on Expedia they have understand the keys amenities and appropriate set up is important to accommodate all traveling class. I regret booking this place just my personal opinion. Will not stay there again.

Easy access to the building.
Easy check in using the codes sent.
Added popcorn was a nice touch.

Negatives
Horrible internet services.

Loud bang throw out the day night which was unacceptable. Email management a few times regarding this issues no resolution did not take the time to look i to the issue.

Requested a room change due to the noise nothing was auctioned.

No housekeeping service.
Stayed 5 days had run down staff who was very hard to find to get extras amenities.
No attention to detail upon arrival, 2 adults and 1 face towel.

Reservation states free bottles water did not received any.

No proper towels racks for reusable purpose.

No mirror only in the washroom. This is a standard amenity that should be included. It was hard to get ready without a mirror in the bedrom area.

Fan in the bathroom not working properly.

Not worth the price I am really disappointed I should have stayed at a Hotel instead.

This is my second stay here, and it won’t be the last. Just like last time I especially enjoyed the good water pressure and modern bathroom, and the fact they have washcloths for use, a real plus in my book. I also like their bed linens and pillows. Since I was in a room that faces the street right above the entrance I did occasionally get whiffs of cigarette and “other” smoke, but that’s just circumstantial geography and it didn’t bother me at all.

There were a few scuffs and scrapes on the walls and around the AC that needed painting, but nothing structural. The place was clean and I made use of the mini-fridge, microwave and dishes. It was so nice to eat in that way, and it was all spotless.

On my check-out day, I had a migraine forming and after speaking with the staff they let me stay an extra 2 hours which let my medication kick in so I could function. I was really grateful and the cleaning staff were so understanding and kind. The office even called me back later that day to make sure I was okay. Definitely booking again in a few weeks.

I want to be fair and say that I didn’t even make it to the room. Seeing the outside was enough for me I was met with a bunch of those spotted lantern flies and they were all over. The area was also not inviting at all about 6 feet away from the highway and just not inviting at all. The check-in process was even more horrific. I had to wait for an email from the property to come, I wasn’t aware that this property did not have a front desk. The only communication would be through a phone number that they didn’t answer to all the time I tried to cancel the reservation and couldn’t. I tried to change it for a different date and they weren’t accommodating at all after waiting for the email to come in, I now had to go onto their system and plug in all of my personal information, including a picture of my ID and credit card number. I refuse to do that this online registration was so shady. I just didn’t trust it at all that coupled with what I saw at the property was enough I would not advise anybody to stay here.

I stayed in communication constantly with a representative upon arriving at this apartment/hotel like building, entering into my assigned room 310 3rd floor, I noticed many problems with the room. For instances, I noticed blood dripplets running along the wall behind the side of the right arm couch. A dirty, used crumbled up paper towel in the closet. The toilet seat was broken. There were molded stains on the bed frame. Light minor unrecognizable stains on the couch. I took pictures of everything I came across as an issue, brought it to front desk attention and emailed them, they emailed me back but never responded resolving the matter at hand, I asked to be accommodated, never got a reply going forward. A couple I ran into had trouble entering in their room, there is a numeric key code they give guest on certain floors as they explained, thise key codes are used to get in the building and should work also to enter is your assigned room given. It worked for the couple to get in the building, but not there room. They were forced to book and look for a hotel. On top of it all, when I called the \"24 hour\" hotline there was no dial tone. Horrible, I wouldn't recommend.

I rented 3 rooms. 1 room had no ac and was dirty and dingy. Another room smelled like weed as soon as we walked in and it smelled like that the whole time we were there. Fire alarm system in front lobby said that room had a disabled fire alarm, the hotel did not tell us. The last rooms toilet seat fell off almost immediately after arrival. Would not stay here again or recommend to anyone.

Rooms are smaller than they appear in the photos. Booked a say for 2 night and half the time the WiFi wasn’t working. The refrigerator is extremely small, no ice machine and no complimentary water. The stay was for me and my husband and they only gave us one set of towels to shower. Even after a few called to get more we still had to wait till mid day the next day for them to show up. For what they charge it was a horrible stay

The price for the property was reasonable for NY. Also the price and contactless entry was good. However, we found a few roaches in the bathroom and kitchenette area. Also since there was no concierge I had 2 experiences where persons who did not have they own access came in behind me making me feel uneasy. Lastly I made several attempts to contact management with not response. The first request was to report someone who should not have been there. The second was to request a late checkout and got no response from either attempt. Overall the property was ok.

Loved our stay at the Arches. There are restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance, as well as a subway stop. The parking garage is staffed 24/7.
The apartment was extremely spacious and bright, the bathroom had a tub. It was absolutely perfect for a family.
We did have issues with a family hanging out in the hallway after midnight for a looong time, they were very loud. But that’s not due to the property itself.

Although new, the room was already showing signs of wear…peeling paint, wire hanging from ceiling, gouging on the walls. Close attention to routine maintenance will be key going forward. The room was very small and awkwardly laid out. No lock on the balcony door was a bit unnerving as someone could easily gain access from the adjoining balcony. Lastly, the neighborhood is awful.

Ruin my mental health trip

I got to my room on may 7 around 10 pm and I saw that I was given the wrong room. I called the 24 hr concierge number to inform about the if and that the ac was not working. They told me to email them what my hotel.com recipient that started the correct room and I did but nobody replied after sent so I called again and they said they contacted someone about the issue and I didn’t here from anyone the rest of the evening. I called back in the am and nothing changed again. I called again about the wrong room and the ac and still nothing was done. I called hotel.com to see if they can do anything but they just called them again and nothing was done done. I stayed in the wrong room with no ac for 2 days aka the whole trip. I didn’t get what w paid for.

Early check in was not an option which was unfortunate because the baseball game we were planning on going to that day got postponed. When we arrived we wanted to at least park so we could Uber somewhere while we waited for 4pm check in. The parking was valet and no in and out. (The positive thing was that it was cheaper than advertised, around 50$ for two nights. That was reasonable) Instead we went to the Bronx brewery and drank a few beers while we waited. When we got to the hotel the code to access the hotel worked but the one provided for the room did not. The customer service never answered the phone but would call you back 20 minutes later to help. The actual room was in disrepair and had repair work needed to be done. I.e. the blinds that would open to show the city view fell off the roll and was forced up by a hand towel. Didn't feel safe to walk at night to any near by restaurants. Door dash couldn't find the hotel to deliver until the second attempt. For the price I paid I was let down.

First off all make sure you pay the extra for cancelation ability!! Had a family emergency and they wouldnt give us a straight answer for days about a refund. So, instead of losing hundreds of dollars we had to stay there. Mind you it was a 6 hour drive there and when we got there our code to get in didnt work. We called them to see what was going on and they said we canceled our reservation. No, we asked if we did could we get a refund and they said that management would have to make that decision. Well, thank god after being on the phone with a great gentleman from south africa, we were able to get in. Room was ok. Needs to be painted and updated a bit. Blinds were broke, unsafe tiles on outside balcony, tp holder and towel rack was broke on wall, dirty on bottom of bed ect. Could pass as a decent motel. Parking was a nightmare. Really tight underneath the building. Man working there was nice enough to help. But be aware you have to walk a bit to get to outside entrance if using garage. If you are planning to visit Manhattan uber will be 45 to 80 bucks from hotel. Drivers i used are really nice though. Close to yankee stadium but there are cheaper places to get. Overall a c-. Would not stay there again as it seems profit over customer service when it comes to billing dept.

I didn’t like the fact that hall way smelt like smoke from smoking and because of that I could slightly smell it in my bedroom. That’s was very inconvenient as I had my baby with me. The room was suitable for a one night visit when traveling through the town

False advertisement all the way around and nobody to communicate with the customer service department was rude room wasn’t ready at 4 was there for a family funeral that I was late getting to when I died at the booking for a early check in and was never notified if it was possible or not no patio at all bathroom sink nob was broken toilet seat broke and the fact they did a rush job on the cleaning was even diabolical but I had no choice because I had no where else to go at short notice in the area that I needed to be in

Extremely Frustrating Experience – Worst Customer Service Ever

I had a terrible experience booking this hotel. From the start, I was asked to resubmit pictures of my ID and credit card multiple times, even though I had already submitted them. This endless cycle of resubmission was frustrating.

Despite my payment being processed a week before our reservation, I was still asked for more documents due to a “billing issue.” I couldn’t understand how they took my payment but then claimed a billing issue.

When we arrived, we couldn’t access our room because of the same “billing issue.” After 30 minutes of waiting at the front desk, we were told to leave and received a call and text saying we couldn’t stay.

When I called for a refund, a representative (Sean or John) told me a refund wasn’t guaranteed, even though we had already been kicked out. I am still waiting for my refund, and I won’t stop until I get it due to their lack of communication.

The address on my license didn’t match the billing address because I had just moved. They didn’t seem to understand this simple explanation. This has been the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, and I travel often. The staff was rude, unhelpful, and clearly didn’t know how to handle any situation.

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Avoid it at all costs.
