Check in took forever, the hotel looked grundgy and unclean. We checked out 10 minutes after we walked in the room. It was disgusting. It smelled like smoke, it was supposed to be a non smoking room. The lock was broken on the door, and the whole place felt unsafe. The room smelled like mold and cat urine. There was feces in the toilet. You could not pay me enough to spend a night there

BEDBUG INFESTED
They have a bedbug infestation. My husband and I were only in the room for about an hour before we were being attacked by bedbugs. We told the front desk and showed them the bugs, they moved us to another room and the same thing happened after about 30 minutes. We left and were refused a refund. They denied there being any bedbugs even though we had brought dead bugs to the desk to show, and several photos, and bites all over us. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The place is super sketchy. As soon as we walked in the door there was a grifter type trying to get us to pay for his room. Carpets were stained and had lots of pulled strings. The complimentary lotion in the bathroom was mostly used. Was damp feeling when we walked in the door, and AC was not on. There were 2 moths, a fly, and what my husband called a \"night bug\" sharing the room with us.

The walls are paper thin so you can hear conversations and TV's on both sides of you. The mattress is a box spring and difficult to get comfortable on. The sheets were grey and towels were stained. There were dead spiders on the walls and the tub was dirty. I didn't use the a/c because it rattled so bad. I was in a non-smoking but the hall was foggy with it and seeped under the door.

After securing my reservation online, i called the facility to inquire about early check-in. It was 1;45pm. On-line stated that their check-in was 4:30pm. Upon finally reaching a person to speak to....i was treated with rude haste and hung up on. I drove to this facility and sat in the parking lot to observe.
This hotel looked shabby, the parking lot was rough terrain. It appeared to be a seedy, unsafe, unsecure environment. I did not even go inside. I wasted money because of the rude treatment to myself, a paying customer. And because of the ill, unkempt visually, and unsecured feelings of the outside environment i did not even want to stay. Refund please.?!

So I booked an accessibility room and I'm given a third floor room and no elevator in this hotel. But it gets better I finally climb the stairs and my key don't work. I go back down to get a new key and climb all the way back up and that key don't work. After the employee tried several times and went to use his key a man inside the room opened the door and said \"There's someone in here!\" That was horrifying for him, us and the guy who was staying in room 310.

Horrible cleanliness, place wasn’t clean at all, stains everywhere, bathtub was nearly black from the stains, bedsheets had stains, lamps had stains, walls had stains, found what looked to be a blood stain on the sheets, cigarette burns on the sheets, strong smell of cigarettes and marijuana in the lobby, the building itself isn’t clean and the only way I could get a refund and cancel my stay was to file a dispute through my bank since they are extremely unorganized. The lady at the desk gave me a number to call to cancel the stay, I call that number and it goes straight to her. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, spend a few extra dollars to get a place to stay that’s actually worth it.

When asked if I had a pet, I did confirm I did have one in the car but it was going to family and not staying with us. I was met with yelling and a demand for $50 deposit that I was supposed to receive in full plus $20 per night. I did try to explain but the yelling just increased and I was threatened that there was no way my booking would be honoured. So I did pay the deposit, canceling the arrangement made for my cat, and fully expected the deposit to be refunded. It was not fully refunded, but wasn’t worth going back for. The hotel itself was disappointing and I did keep my room as clean as possible, even though there was obvious neglect. The guy screamed at a guest for smoking in a smoking room because it set off a smoke detector the guest was not responsible for. The guest apologies but the guy screamed he was going to kick him out if he smoked in the smoking room again. This isn’t a professional establishment and there isn’t a hint of a decent amount of human courtesy or honesty here. I don’t recommend it and encourage you to reconsider the place $5-$10 more. I promise it’s worth the extra money to stay elsewhere and avoid this plague.

The booking was for 2 nights but there was only 1 night on record (confirmed with hotels.com it was correctly made for 2). The room was overall super gross and my family was scared to stay there. Had there been another hotel available within an hour we would've just left the room and booked somewhere else. Do not stay here.

Front desk agent was completely confused during the whole process. Had used our reservation slip for a prior guest using out rate. Then after trying for twenty minutes to correct he had to start over and handed us a reservation slip to sign and the date was almost double. Worst hotel I have ever stayed at, took 30 minutes to check in because old guy behind the desk figured paperwork was more important. Room was dirty, found items in drawers left by last people to use the room. I highly doubt they own a vacuum or don’t know how to use it. Shower never did work and drain in sink ran very slow. Overall the room had an odor that I couldn’t identify, had to use the air to circulate it because the window had no screen so couldn’t open it even a little to air it out. Being someone who is charge of a cleaning crew for a college I was appalled by the lack of care by the workers or management. I would say the high reviews are made up by management of this property, no way I would have wasted my money here.

The location for this property was good and close to anywhere I needed to be. Rates were affordable. The clerk was not as friendly as most clerks I meet upon check-in. It was the only motel I've stayed in in KCMO that didn't have a 3:00 pm check-in. The room wasn't ready when I was able to check-in. I believe that was partly my fault because I was put in a non-smoking room. The other staff that I met were wonderful. The microwave/refrigerator in the room didn't work. On my last day, before my 10:30 am check-out, the vlerk mentioned before knocked about 20 times on my door at around 9:45 am and brought someone who upgrades the rooms into my room and had him look at the walls to paint, pulled the curtain back, took him in the bathroom, etc. Aftet 10 minutes they finally left. This was a very rude thing to do when check-out was so close and it could hsve waited until I had checked out. When they were leaving, I wasn't thanked for letting them disrupt my time. They just walked out and shut the door. This is probably the 3rd/4th time I've stayed here and this will be my last. The security is lacking. They don't secure the outside door entrance ftom the parking lot and anyone could walk into the motel.

It's exactly what you'd expect for the price. Conveniently close to the airport and not to far from a shopping plaza. Very quiet and the rooms tho older clean. My only major disappointment was the check in and out time. 4:30pm check in is extremely late and 10:30am is early. Besides that it served it's purpose for the cost.

This property is unsafe, has people attempting to get into your room at night, the front desk staff is never there and you have to call to ask them to arrive, the rooms all smell like smoke or weed. They advertise free breakfast, and airport transportation on the travelocity.com, but when you arrive they have signs posted saying they don't offer it.
