Breakfast is just okay, would be better with croissants, bagels, the next step up from plain bread and dispensed basic cereals. Shutlle to/from airport is very good. Not much local public transit except a nearby bus that comes once an hour and is nearly an hour from downtown. Routes recently changed so check with local transit authority, but staff there can be very helpful or rude. A few restaurants are in the nearby hotels, but almost none close by that are freestanding/walkable. Overall, good hotel for the basics.

Parking is poor. The parking lot was full with little room for maneuvering and the other end was blocked so you had to back all the way out. My daughter ended up leaving her car at the Expo Center where we were attending an event and walking over to the hotel. I think they do some long term parking for people leaving their cars on vacation but it really isn't big enough of a lot to accommodate both.
The room seemed clean but after showering in the morning, my daughter's feet were filthy after walking barefoot on the laminate flooring. I did ask that housekeeping come and mop the floor and they did do that.
Breakfast is okay, but limited seating (seating for 6) so not conducive to eating in the breakfast room.
The price was right when compared to other hotels close to the Expo Center but I would probably not stay here again.

The room was nice, clean, updated, daily housekeeping. Beds comfortable.
Checkin process was horrible. Took 45 minutes with multiple others also lined up. Computers down, needed reset along with credit card machines. Got 1 of 2 rooms checked in but then left without waiting for 2nd room check-in. Returning after dinner, check-in took about 10 minutes since another person (Al) was there. Al did a fantastic, friendly job and even then was able to get us checked into 1st floor room (which told first time unavailable). He also was able to transfer first room check-in to ground floor.
Checkout was non existent as no one was at or appeared at the desk. Another associate staying there said he'd been waiting for 15 minutes with no one at the desk.
We will stay here next year, and ask for a ground floor room.
No elevators. We did not get breakfast.

While the exterior of the motel has seen better days, my room was updated, clean, and exactly what I needed. Breakfast, like others have noted, leaves a lot to be desired - no protein at all, just waffles, oatmeal, cereal, and toast - so if you are avoiding gluten or carbs at all, make plans to eat elsewhere. Staff was helpful, but minimal, so be prepared to wait.

Room was nice and clean. I didn’t give a 5 star rating because, there was only one hand towel for two people. Shower head was too high for me to change the direction of the spray. It was shooting at the wall and I had to lean against the wall to get a little wet.Bed was so high I had a hard time getting on the bed. When I called the front desk for help getting one of the local Chanel, he told me he didn’t know and I was to scroll down the menu, which I had no success with that was why I had called.

The heat was on, the room was clean, and it seemed freshly updated. It is a Super 8 so there's never enough towels, and the body wash was out (I used the shampoo instead), but those are minor expected things for the cost of staying near the airport. The staff were friendly. The TV viewing options were weird so we didn't use the tv. It was just an overnight and we rested well.

This is an old, but remodeled Super 8 that is within a group of hotels just a mile off the airport exit. Reasonably clean and in a safe area. Worked well for a late night arrival, leave early the next am. Not fancy, but fine for that purpose.

Staff was not very friendly, breakfast was not good at all, but the rooms weren’t horrible. There is no elevator and we asked for a ground floor room but did not get one. With 3 kids and lots of stuff that was annoying. Overall it could be better but could be worse. It was a cheap bed.

The room was clean when you arrived, and there was always hot water. However, the cleaning was poor. They only made the beds and did a half-hearted job cleaning the bathroom, but if you left papers or empty water bottles, they didn't throw them away. They didn't wash the sink or clean the bathtub. If you left dirty glasses or spoons, they didn't wash them either. The breakfast was terrible; they didn't even serve yogurt. The beds were comfortable.

The room was clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were wonderful. The best was using their shuttle service. We were able to park our car in their parking lot for less than KCI charges and they made sure we made it to the airport on time. They also picked us up with 10 minutes of calling when we returned.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Had multiple conversations with them before I ever checked in because I had various questions. They were always quick to respond and informative, which was definitely appreciated. The rooms looked good from the pictures online. Beds were ok. Floor was dirty. The vinyl flooring was coming up/apart throughout the room. Bathroom seemed well kept. Price was cheaper than others so that’s why we went with it. Honestly a little TLC on some of the structure of the room could go a long way. But otherwise you get what you pay for. Went with a cheaper room so I tempered my expectations. If you’re looking to save money and just need somewhere to crash. This place will work just fine.

Our stay was good, room was clean. Only wish there was a “Do not Disturb” sign house keeping banged on our door while we was sleeping through the morning after getting back to our room late they didn’t announce themselves. The staff was friendly and was able to get use a room after we arrived earlier than expected. Overall was a good stay!

Minutes from MCI ! Hotel staff were friendly but the hotel rooms a bit dated and worn? Gave the impression not sparkling clean but no issues. I would stay here again for only another brief stay. Hotel parking lot was full but I parked not far from the shuttle van. My stay served its purpose. Surprised it was very quiet for a Saturday night before a Sunday home game for the KC Chiefs! Breakfast choices were very sparce in a very small room near the front desk.

For a one night, it was great. Close to the airport, $5 airport shuttle was quick and easy. Beds very comfortable and shower pressure and temperature were good. I found the breakfast very wasteful on single use plastic and nothing healthy to eat. Waffles, sugary cereals and toast. The staff were helpful enough.

I gave it high marks because of the value. It's an economy hotel. Nothing fancy...just a clean room, clean bathroom, beds were nice.
TV was solid...refrigerator and microwave oven all worked. Airport shuttle.
No breakfast but the little diner next door is solid.
That's all. If you are in Kansas City MO to work like I was for three days and you are on a low budget, this Super 8 really works.

The front desk was rude. He doesn’t answer a good morning a thank you. Not even a good bye. Just there to give keys and not even talk with you. The room was good, the bed, the space. Enjoyed the coffee!
