Quick check in but charged $20 extra to check in early. USB ports didn't work. Toilets are child height. Couldn't plug in curling iron into bathroom outlet. Bathroom outlet needed to be finished, needed finishing paint. Don't think I'll stay here again. Shuttle driver was excellent.

The lobby had a strange, funky smell the moment we walked in, which didn’t give us much confidence about the stay ahead.
Our room was clean, but the bedding was extremely uncomfortable. The sheets felt like plastic — every time you moved, they crinkled loudly. It made it difficult to relax or get any real rest.
The ice machine also wasn’t working and had no ice available, which was frustrating after a long day of travel.
Overall, while the room itself was tidy, the comfort and basic amenities just weren’t there. I wouldn’t choose to stay at this location again.

Great location if you don’t mind the road noise. Decent hotel, clean and comfy room and pretty nice breakfast. I wish there was yogurt or fruit. Nice coffee/espresso machine. No TV guide or dog bags. Overall a good place to stay for one night with our dog.

Issue was I was flying out in early the morning and the fire alarm kept beeping. When they came to fix it they couldn't. So, they just removed it. Got little sleep. Positive, the staff was very great at getting me to the airport early in the AM.

1st room didn't have a working tv or phone. Dirty sock under the chair, some garment behind dresser and broken bed frame so the lady moved us to a new room. This room and mens undergarment under the chair and a polo hanging in the closet so obviously they don't move items to clean thoroughly.

All other aspects was clean but there were no beddings provided for the sofa

We stayed here one night when bad weather caused a flight cancellation. The airport shuttle didn't work for us in either direction. We waited 25 min for pickup in 15 deg weather and never saw the shuttle. I tried to call the front desk twice but couldn't get to speak to a person. The automated message said the shuttle was running. We eventually took the Hilton's shuttle and walked over from the Hilton to the Best Western. The next morning we tried to get the shuttle back to the airport but we're turned away because we didn't make a reservation (it was full). We were never told there was a reservation. The \"shuttle\" was just a regular minivan.

The airport shuttle stopped running at 11pm so I had to arrange for an Uber after I landed. The airport shuttle from the hotel to the airport looked to be someones personal use vehicle as the only signage was a computer printed paper with the words \"Hotel Shuttle\" taped inside the front passenger window. The breakfast was good, but the bed was old and uncomfortable. Everything was clean.

We utilized Best Western Plus as a one night stay before a flight at 6am in the next morning. I researched to make sure they had a shuttle and would store our vehicle. All was good until I arrived. At the counter it posted that shuttles only ran from 4am - 11pm. My return flight got in at 11:30pm. This was never mentioned on their website. I talked to the counter person about this issue. I live 2hr from Kansas City and am not familiar with their Uber/Taxi services. The person behind the counter said to call when we return and they would assist. When we returned THEY DID NOT assist. We were stranded at the Airport for TWO hours trying to get to our vehicle. By that time is was 1:30am in the morning. We has to pay another hotel that neighbors Best Western to stay at their hotel and shuttle us. I also had to take an extra day off work because we didn't make it home that night. The WORST part of all this frustration is that Best Western charged me the same rate as the Airport vehicle storage lots (SPOT). If I used the airport, I would have had a shuttle to my car and been able to drive home by 1:30am. NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!

The room was clean, you could sleep on the bed. The HVAC was loud, didn't heat and cool well. The whole place was out dated. Little things were broken (exit light, carpets in halls were dirty, weird string lights were falling down). I probably wouldn't stay again.

so much for saving a few dollars
will not stay here again

We had to wait several minutes while she took a call. Never understand why phone calls take precedence over live persons. In addition, the key card that she gave us did not work and we had to wait several more minutes for her to come up to correct it. We ended up having to change rooms. Not major problems, but unnecessary inconveniences.

The staff on the night of January 2nd truly needs more hospitality and tourism training. The treatment and the difficulties we encountered during check-in were awful. The check-out process went smoothly, but it was handled by a different employee., The breakfast needed more variety, but the place was clean. You can hear everything from room to room, and the bathroom wasn't very clean.
To be honest, my check-in experience was awful. I've never had anything like that happen before, and I've stayed in thousands of hotels.

The room’s furnace was not on, as we entered the room we were greeted by a freezing cold room during our winter stay. I turned on the furnace, which helped to warm up the room, how ever the thermostat was not working properly or something was wrong that the heat didn’t stop at 72 it kept climbing up making the room too hot.
Throughout the night I had to get up to turn off the heat since it was too hot, and then turning it on since the room was freezing ( by the furnace/ ac vent there was cold air coming in). Our plan was to come a day before our flight and have a relaxed and restful night before our trip the next day. However this was not the case!

I don't normally like to leave bad reviews, but very disappointed in this hotel. Booked it because of good reviews and a pool. Pool was closed for maintenance all three days and room needed to be cared for. Chipped paint, torn carpet, torn couch, cobwebs, mildew on the window shade. None of the ice machines worked, key cards stopped working multiple times, which the staff blamed on cell phones, but we kept them isolated after the first time and it continued to happen. Staffing seemed sparse as well. We will stay somewhere else next time we are in KC.

My husband and I were in the hotel for 4 nights over Thanksgiving. The room was good. Our TV was messed up and after 2 calls to the front desk, with no help, my husband was able to fix it. The hot breakfast could use some variety. The offering was fried cubed potatoes, sausage links, a 'fried egg', biscuits, and gravy. The gravy was cold 3 days in a row 15 minutes after breakfast started. The staff said that one of the warmers didn't work as well as the other. I asked \"why it wasn't hot to begin with?\" I didn't get an answer. On Saturday there was scrambled eggs, but all other options were the same. Pool was closed for maintenance. For the price & location, it was 'okay'.
