Good budget hotel for overnight stay before/after a cruise. Rooms older but fine. Breakfast good continental.
Reception efficient, all details covered.
Shuttles from airport and to cruise port well organized and free.
Pool area looked inviting but no time to use.
Have used bar/restaurant before but as ours was late arrival and an event was on, we opted to buy cold beer from reception to drink in garden.
Great basic hotel and will use again as needed.

Our 2 day stay was just OK. It was unfortunate that each time we arrived because it was before the 3 o'clock check in time we got charged the extra $55. For a Hotel/Motel that primarily is attributed to the Cruise port and Air lines, this is a sneaky way to get an additional $110.Breakfast was appreciated, and just enough to fill your belly. The room was clean and chilled when we arrived both days.(Thank you for this) The shuttle staff/front desk (Marvin)were pleasant but terribly understaffed. We ended up paying an additional $50 to arrive and leave the port. Convenience, not so convenient.

Breakfast was typical bargain hotel faire, tasteless. Did not use the pool.

The room was partially clean (the toilet and sink). The floor was so dirty that my feet were black after walking on it for five minutes! There was hair in the corners and I tracked it all over the place. The shower floor was dirty, if you can imagine! The shower also had black algae in the corners. I would not recommend this dump to my worst enemy.

The ride from the airport was fine. The bus ride to the port was an absolute clown show. The bus was completely full, so they had folks standing up in the aisle at the back of the bus and then ran out of luggage storage and proceeded to roll luggage down the aisle up to the poor folks that were standing. They had a senior citizen as a driver and the poor SOB had to load and unload the bus himself. The employee that gathered everyone together to load the bus thought he was a comedian but was rude and crass!

Hotel is a little outdated. The grounds were well kept. Rooms were clean but the beds and pillows were worn out. Ceiling fan ran but extra slow even on high. The spickett on the tub would not work to draw water in the tub. The shower head barely put water out. The staff were friendly enough but they didnt go out of their way to greet you with a smile. Shuttle service to and from airport and cruise port were the most beneficial. Hotel is close to both which is a plus.

The shuttle to the motel from the airport was a long wait time & there are not many places to sit while waiting to be picked up. I consider an hour too long to wait, for this convenience. However, I did note that other hotels did have a better system (more vehicles in rotation ?).

Room was recently updated but had little flying bugs. They didn’t bite but didn’t make me feel uncomfortable. I got locked inside my room since the lock wasn’t working. I ate at the restaurant and ordered chicken tenders and they were almost burnt. Not sure if I would stay there again

OK for the price. We normally stay at Hilton or Marriott properties, so this was like staying at campground. The staff was OK, but not very helpful. Getting information was like pulling teeth. The restaurant was good. The rooms were OK. I would never stay at a Rodeway again.

Front staff is not friendly. Very rushed and employees look annoyed. No amenities like ice or water that are easily accessible in other hotels. Usually there is at least coffee maker or some water bottles. Nearest gas station is over a mile walk
They do provide free shuttle to the airport or cruise ships which is a huge plus

Nice place to stay!!! Clean room, transportatiom from the hotel to airport on point😁 We ordered food from the Restaurant and the quesadillas and the chilli amazing!!! 10/10 . The hotel offers the option to pay with Affirm, but when we artived, we were told that they do not accept digital credit cards. They should disclise this on their websiteor simply do not list that payment method as an option.

The first room they gave us smell badly, it was coming out from the bathroom. It's the old sewage smell. They gave us an upgraded room. It was better, but overall, still feeling musty. No tissue paper!

Apply such minor, but extremely important since BB more than 60% bookings are Latino’s where milk in coffee a mayor portion there life away from home.

Affordable old time Florida hotel. Very reasonably priced. We only need to stay the night before our cruise and chose this one for the shuttle from airport to hotel, and the shuttle to our cruise line the next morning. (Shuttles included in price.)

Decent restaurant for dinner.

Very clean.

Great value for price, and if we cruise from Fort Lauderdale port again, would definitely stay there.

On a beaucoup apprécié le service de navette. On a beaucoup aimé le resto-bar attaché à l’hôtel , les repas sont très bons et pas trop dispendieux avec un service très agréable. On aime pas L’emplacement de l’hôtel, faut prendre un taxi pour se déplacer dans les alentours car rien autour. Parfait pour une nuit avant croisière !

Our room was well appointed and had plenty of outlets. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was very good and well staffed. This is a good hotel in that it offers shuttles to and from the airport and cruise port.

Only negative: They were short-staffed when several parties were checking in so it took quite awhile.

It’s deceiving when you see this place. My first impression wasn’t the best. Reception was not very warm or smiling. But the amenities are perfect for people like us taking a cruise. Free shuttle from the airport, free shuttle to the cruise port. Restaurant/bar was great. Room was sparse but clean. Didn’t use the pool, but it was nice. You can even park your car there (for a price) while you cruise! They really know their business and there clientele! Would definitely stay again!

Breakfast was very nice. Only complaint is the music in the bar/restaurant is extremely loud and starts very early in the evening. You cannot hear anyone speaking to you while eating dinner. We actually saw two couples leaving and the ladies removed ear plugs from their ears when they got outside. Maybe start music at 9 o’clock??

We stayed here the night before leaving on a cruise. It is older, but clean and efficient. The on site restaurant was good, but pricy. It’s very close to both the airport & cruise port. They offer a shuttle to both for a fee.

This was a fair hotel. It is dated, but it is clean and considering they seemed to be the only hotel that offers a free shuttle to the cruise port, I’d recommend staying here. I don’t know if I’d stay here again because of the dated-ness of the hotel. It’s clean, but I don’t think the free shuttle is enough for me to stay again. The staff was fine, not rude, just all doing their jobs.

Airport transfer was poorly executed. We had a noon transfer and the airport that was less than 2 miles away, but due to late leaving and going to multiple cruise drops, we were dropped at the airport an hour and 10 minutes later. And we were dropped off far from the terminal and had to drag our luggage for some distance and not at the departure level.

Also, the hotel is located away from restaurants. The only accessible restaurant was at the hotel and that place was slow and over priced and did not deliver per the menu (they were out of many of the advertised ingredients).

The front gentleman that helped us was nice. But the day shift girl that working at the gift shop, she's totally different story. Never dealt with that rude and carrying a don't care attitudes. My first day there and my second day there. I understand people have bad day. But I guessed that just HER. I bought the bracelet the price tag have $12.99 on it. But she charged me $18.99. When I asked about it. She just said the price sticker on it was wrong, by the way with her rudely attitudes. I asked her how would I know that if you guy put the wrong price on it. Then charged me almost 50% more if I didn't check my receipt? She only said it's $18.99. Then she just ignored me.
On the other hand. The continental breakfast was very good. And the staffs work at the breakfast place, they're very nice and helpful. I thank you for them.

Budget hotel with excellent service. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Pool area was also clean and comfortable. Guest Laundry was perfect for our needs, had multiple washers and dryers that took coin and digital pay. Complementary shuttle from airport took a little longer than desired. However the process for the cruise port shuttle was very detailed and organized! Breakfast area was a little crowded. But overall, great experience for the price we paid! I would definitely stay there again for a Fort Lauderdale cruise!

Rude front desk staff, they force you to deal with a remote desktop in India who tried to help but it was very difficult to understand, who also charged me extra fees after the reservation was paid in full through Orbitz, no one to indicate where your room is, and finally after looking at a hotel map found the room which smelled bad, old AC unit didn't cool well, slept in a poor quality mattress, it was terrible.

The main attraction for this hotel is the free airport and cruise terminal shuttles. They make it easy to get to your cruise. The room we had was large and clean. It boasted a fridge and microwave. The pool is nice but unfortunately does not include a hot tub. Check in is at 3 pm so we had to wait a while by the pool. The only restaurant in the area is the sports bar in the hotel. We had the fish burger and Cobb salad. Both were good. The only shop in the area is a gas station a 15 minute walk away, which had surprisingly good pizza.

Property double booked our room. Restaurant on site is overpriced and overcharges on tips. Food is nothing special.

If you are going on a cruise, they do have it on point in the morning to get you to your ship. That’s was a nice surprise after the night we had.

Breakfast was very good with lots of choices, including eggs, waffles, and sausage. All kinds of bread and pastries. Highly recommend we will certainly use this hotel again.

Rooms are very basic. No luxury. No daily upkeep. Grounds are nice with a pool, lots of trees and flowers. There is nice outdoor seating in a sheltered patio. Breakfast was bare bones. Nice that there is a restaurant in site and they have free shuttle from the airport and to the cruise terminal. If you want shuttle from to port to airport it is $15/pp.
