Spent the day traveling and checked in and ready for a hot shower. Not much pressure and the water was lukewarm. Too tired to call front desk and went to bed. Next morning, pressure was a bit better, but still luke warm water. Upon check out we only mentioned it to the front desk in passing, because I don't like complainers. She apologized and even said she would compensate us on our bill, which I was not expecting. Later in the day I get an email saying that they were going through a transition and hotel staff were still learning their way through and that they were sorry. Replied back saying not my problem, should have told us upon check in that they had issues. Not staying here again.

Arrived at1100 from my cruise and the front desk staff said they would call me when my room was ready. Hung out at the pool with the other guests waiting for rooms. Not enough chairs for everyone. Then it started raining and everyone was sitting in the lobby . It was after 3pm and people were checking in and I still hadn’t received a call about my room. When I went to the front desk the man working there said he did call me and I said no one did because I kept looking at my phone and he was a little sharp with me insisting he did call. Only stayed one night. Close to the airport. Are air conditioning unit was extremely noisy sounding like a loose plastic shopping bag was in the fan motor. The room smelled musty. There was somebody else's hair on the shampoo bottle. And we were given a first floor room right up against construction in the back parking lot. But the breakfast was good and so was the staff except for the maid that walked in on the first knock before I could even get to the door.

Front desk staff sent housekeeping while I was out and it improved moderately. Eventually, I figured out that the shower vent wasn't working and I reported it at check out. Mildew and what seemed like sewage were the main smells. A shame for such a recently renovated space. Lovely hotel otherwise with a convenient location.

The photo on hotels.com for this property shows a beautiful outdoor patio that looked beautiful and inviting with cushioned furniture, umbrellas, etc. so it was super disappointing to find that such patio does not exist there. A front desk employee told me he's worked there 3 yrs and they've not had a patio like that in that time frame. We were on the 4th floor and there was absolutely NO hot water for showers in the morning. Front desk staff were friendly.

When I approached the desk, Kim rudely informed me that I needed to be added to the “two-page wait list” instead of simply verifying how many were ahead of me. Her tone was unnecessary. She then engaged in conversation with a guest behind me who commented on my frustration rather than professionally redirecting and continuing service.
The manager apologized and issued 5,000 points, though I was under the impression it would be 10,000, which added to the confusion.
This morning we came down 15 minutes early for the 3:00 AM airport shuttle, which runs hourly. By 3:25 AM it still had not arrived. An Uber was ordered, which I appreciate, but it was too small for our party and six pieces of luggage. Fortunately, the driver accommodated us.

It was a very busy in the evening and in the morning, but the staff handled things very well and everything moved very quickly and smoothly. The room was very clean. We enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. The breakfast area also was very clean and well maintained. The staff there was very friendly. It was very convenient to have free shuttle service from the airport. We stayed there the night before our cruise. It was great. I highly recommend it! We will be returning.

The reason….the hotel was full the night before. Isn’t that the goal. For the hotel to be full every night? Just because the hotel was full should not be a reason housekeeping is not able to clean in time for the next round of guests arriving. We waited 2.5 hours for our room. We did not get our room key until 5:30. We completed some errands, ate dinner, etc. there were guests still waiting for rooms at 7:30 pm! Four and a half hours after check in time. Completely unacceptable. The front desk stated “we had no idea it was this busy when cruise ships were coming and going”. What???? This hotel is near the airport and the cruise port. Would not stay here again.
