The property, along with its amenities like the gym, is dated. However, it does offer a convenient shuttle service.

The room was unclean, even after requesting housekeeping to clean it. Despite repeated requests, zero effort made. Would not recommend this property not worth the price.

The check in and room were adequate, only one complaint, the shower pressure was next to nil and the actual shower head was coming out of the wall. The tile around it broken and the sheetrock barely holding the shower head. Actually kind of gave me the creeps, first thing I thought was is there a camera in there?? I was going to tell front desk at check out (I only stayed one night) but the line was incredibly long and I didn't wish to wait.

The property was very nice. I would definitely stay here again. It was nice to have an onsite restaurant also. There was a problem with the shuttle pickup at the airport but the staff was very helpful and accommodating.

Toilet was plugged I called front desk to report they said they would send someone up, waited an hour and called back they said there was no maintenance on site, half hour later the manager brought a plunger up to our room and said I had to do it myself.

Hotel was ok for one night only. Our luggage was placed in an unlocked conference room instead of the luggage hold when we arrived early. The shuttle driver had us (and another couple) change terminals at the airport when getting picked up after waiting for over 45 minutes. Directions were not clear and we ended up running around asking airport personnel for assistance. I was hung up on twice by the front desk when inquiring where the shuttle was and how to find it, then finally had a different representative answer and tell us to change terminals. Couple we were with mentioned some of the same with reps not answering the phone when calling for assistance.
Pool area was ok. Restaurant was only open for breakfast. We did not see it open for lunch, dinner or bar service and we were there at 5pm. We did witness a waitress act extremely rude to a gentlemen who tried to get her attention during breakfast. We did not witness him do anything that warranted that reaction.
Room was nice, although dated. Our toilet paper dispenser was not screwed into the wall securely so every time we used it, it would tip and the whole roll would fall off the holder.
We had no issue with shuttle back to the airport.
We would not stay here again.

Hotel was booked well in advance of what turned out to be the Snowpocalypse of February 2026. There was a regional and statewide (MA) state of emergency, full transportation & government shutdown, national guard deployed, travel ban (not that travel was possible), power failure for days, no internet, phone, tv. I was unable to even start the trip let alone complete it. The hotel AND Expedia gave me the run around & refused a refund. This is after Expedia posted on the website that change/cancel fees would be waived Feb 22-24. This is an exceptional circumstance for the refund policy, but they refused. To add insult to injury the hotel and expedia ask me \"How was my check-in?\" & \"How was my stay?\" Do better Expedia, IHG, & Holiday Inn. I'm definitely not planning on using Expedia and/or IHG in the future.

I booked this property for the pool and hot tub area which was beautiful. The hot tub is a lot smaller than pictured.
Unfortunately, there were only a handful of chairs for the size of the patio and the people, they do day passes for the pool area which makes it hard to get a chair. The towels provided are more like hand towel size and the smoking area is right next to the nonsmoking area so it could have all been smoking and you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.
The restaurant and bar open at 5 and seemed overwhelmed by a small amount of people. We ordered drinks and they were terrible. What bartender can’t even make an old fashioned, a mule and a margarita??
The front desk staff is awesome! Friendly, helpful and efficient. Overall a good experience and I would stay again but with managed expectations.
The room was nice, spacious and clean but the carpet was damp. They seemed to be making some improvements in the lobby but the building did seem a little tired. The area seems a little rough as well but Dania area is close and nice.

In the listing for this property it states airport shuttle available between 7 am - 10 pm (I believe) and upon request. When I inquired about a shuttle for 5 am I was told I would have to find my own transportation as their shuttle didn’t run at 5. I told them the listing had stated it did and they were not going to accommodate my request. The other thing that was an issue was paying an extra $25 to check in 1 hour early into our room. We had been at the hotel since 8am and patiently waited until 2:30 to inquire about room. Was told our room was ready but a $25 early check in fee would apply. Never have I had to pay that fee…so was kinda disappointed with that. The property is nice and pool area is great!

Bed was comfortable and, other than the feel of the carpet, things seemed clean.

There was no shuttle from the airport as included in the price. We were not allowed to pay for a cot for my son even though we paid in advance for 2 rooms with two double beds intended for 9 guests. We paid over $1100 for one night's stay before a cruise and it was SO overpriced- no airport shuttle, no restaurant/food at night, kids had to sleep on the floor (no cot allowed) and the rooms are run down and dingy for a very expensive nightly rate.

Overall it was a good place to stay and be surrounded by all the wonderful things Florida has to offer. Staff were nice, the pool was heated, and the room was fairly clean upon arrival. The only downside was an unpleasant smell when we entered the room. The second day the smell was gone and I could tell it was properly cleaned while we were out. Overall I would stay again in the future

I called the hotel for a shuttle pickup. Was told where to wait and I waited for 1hour and 45 minutes. Called hotel 6-8 times put on hold 15+ minutes or they simply hung up. I paid for taxi to get there. Said I was at the wrong place and wanted name of the person who gave me wait where I did. I spoke with Expedia,they called hotel and hotel reimbursement me for the cost of the taxi.

We chose this hotel specifically because it was advertised as having the unique feature of a pool bar. The pool bar was not open, even though it was a busy Sunday afternoon and in fact, even the indoor bar wasn’t open. There was nowhere to get a cocktail for the start of our vacation. There was no where to purchase food either, even though the website advertised a restaurant. The restaurant was only open for an evening dinner and morning breakfast, which was good, but when we arrived at noon, there were no options for eating or drinking.. The room was OK but very dated and in in need of updating as well as the hallways and interior of the entire hotel..

We arrived early after requesting early check in. We were told around 2 pm for our room and our room was never available until 530 PM. One of the staff members (did not wear a name tag) was less than helpful and very unpleasant basically walking away from us when trying to check on room status. When we requested bedding for the pull out bed - we were brought 1 fitted sheet 1 pillow and 1 light blanket (no pillow case). We requested a 2nd pillow (there were 6 in our suite) only to be told there were none available - 15 minutes later we were delivered another pillow that was dirty with no case again. The toilet was slow to flush and not working properly. Over all just not very clean and chaotic when it came to accommodating guests. Not the service or standards you would expect at a Holiday Inn. It felt very much more comparable to a much lower end quality.

I have been trying to get in touch with Hotels.com. I did not stay at the Holiday Inn. They had a fire the day before and told me to contact Hotel.com for a refund. I stayed at Comfort Suites, Dania Beach. The day I returned home I called Hotels and was on hold. They took my number and said they would call me back. I dd not get a call back. I've been catching up on business but I would like a refund please! Thank you. I said it was terrible to get your attention.

Well there was an electrical fire on our 2nd floor room. The fire alarm went off at 4:45 am. The whole building was evacuated. Hollywood fire department got everyone out safely. Thank God for those rescue workers. The sprinkers went off in our room so we could not stay there any longer they did nothing to help us find another room or give us our money back. Unfortunately, Fort Lauderdale had record breaking low temperatures while we were there. The heater in our room didn't work. We reported it to the front desk 5 times. Each time, they told us they would send someone to fix it. No one ever came. We asked them to move us to another room, and they said they were fully booked. I finally found a maintenance man in the hall and he came to look at it and verified that it couldn't be fixed. He offered me extra blankets, but said he couldn't make a price adjustment. I know this hotel was not equipped for cold weather, but the customer service was terrible. This was a terrible experience and I will never stay here again.

Staff support was brutal. Very slow service in all aspects. Restaurant quality was terrible and the price for what was offered was ridiculous. The building is run down, and pumped with fragrance plug-ins to mask the crumbling infrastructure. Lastly, there was a fire!! Terrible experience; we will never return!!!!!

We stayed on the 3rd floor, in room 325, & the hallway & our room smelled SUPER strong like mold. *To be fair, we came in late & did not tell staff, but we don’t feel the room should’ve been rentable until the mold issue is taken care of, as it was not faint. There was only 1 trash can, which was in the restroom, which was strange for a room that size, with a kitchenette. Pool was beautiful & hot tub was great!

Staff was not friendly, hotel smelled and here were plug in air fresheners all down the halls which only made the smell worse. Shuttle stopped at 10 pm so we ended up paying for a ride share when we purposely booked for the shuttle. The coffee maker in the room was disgusting and not usable, charged $5 for a cup of black coffee downstairs.
Will not stay here again.

Our first room was not good. We wouldn’t sit on the couch it was so dirty and the smell of marijuana was very strong. We did report to the front desk and they immediately got us another room that was absolutely fine. Marshall at the front desk was professional, kind and courteous. Couldn’t ask for better.

It was rough because the storm canceled a lot of flights. The staff did their best with disgruntled and weary travelers, making sure we had plenty of towels and as much info they could give. Rooms were clean and beds comfy.

Could provide better access to the curtains, part of it was not moveable.
Rooms can be equipped with a a stash of sugar and creamer.
A microwave will be awesome, especially when coming in to check in at late night.
